I needed a home quickly because of another builder falling through on the home I had planned to purchase. Pulte was super helpful in finding me a similar home that met my need within my price range and even had additional move in deals that I qualified for. They were able to close really quick and I was in my new home in 30 days. I have had a large number of issues with the quality of the work done. Missed painting and bad caulking in multiple areas. I also had issues with the front door handles being damaged and the door frame for the garage entry door being broke to the point the door wasn't staying closed. There we other problems with the installation of the microwave vent with no gasket and the vents to the outside from the microwave and the bathroom vents not being done correctly and allowing moisture in. The warranty group is good to work with and most of these are repaired but it costs me a day off work each time to be home when these repairs are being made, so it is nice they have a good warranty team but it is still taking time from me to repair a brand new home's workmanship. We purchased one of the model homes. We've owned a Pulte Home in the past and we're very happy with the workmanship. However, this experience has been quite different. Since moving in we have found a number of issues. We have been met with great difficulty having these issues resolved. The Pulte representatives have been rude, they have put us off for months with excuses. The craftsmanship is not what it once was. I would not purchase another Pulte home at this point. Sales was good as well as mortgage process. All add on items were over priced for the value furnished. The French doors in the den were installed off center and had to be reconstructed after move in. Many items were missed or damaged. The warranty department is all about excuses for not doing the work. Instead of fixing the items now they keep saying wait for the one year mark because they only fix items once. Pulte used to be a great builder in the 90s but are only interested in getting more money for junk. Not satisfied at all.

We recently purchased a home with Pulte, and overall, our experience has been okay. The home itself meets our expectations, but the process, particularly regarding walkthroughs and post-closing follow-ups, has been less smooth than we had hoped. There are still outstanding items from our initial walkthrough that have yet to be addressed, and communication on the next steps has not been very clear. Despite following up, we have not received updates on when these issues will be resolved. This has made the process feel a bit frustrating and uncertain. While we understand that delays can happen, better communication and a more structured follow-up process would greatly improve the overall experience. Great working with Austin and Ramsey.

I was promised by Dana that Pulte wanted my home perfect that’s why it took so long to finish. Let me tell you my house is far from perfect! On my final walk through with Brian and Dustin I, my son and granddaughter pointed out all the flaws and marked them with painters tape. They took no notes and kept nodding at the mistakes. When I moved in a week later the tape was gone and nothing was fixed. They did manage to put handles on my laundry room cabinets that’s all. I sent them text messages asking when they planned on coming back and was told they were not. My walls have cracks in the drywall, my oven doesn’t shut properly therefore the food isn’t cooking properly, my very expensive quartz countertops have chips in them they won’t even come out to see them, my wood floors have marks and scratches on them, again to bad I’m told, some of my tile doesn’t even go to the wall. My bathroom wall has a hole in it I’m wondering if hold will appear. Something is making me sneeze constantly I can’t wait to see what my doctor says about that. For what I paid for the house Pulte should be ashamed of themselves. You had no trouble taking my money and now you have washed your hands and will not stand behind your product. I also had to pay the first half of the taxes and wonder how long before I’m reimbursed, I wasn’t here until December 17, 2024. I also got a balanced forward on the New Albany Master group. To say I’m totally upset with Pulte is an understatement. Oh I also had my irrigation system freeze and explode water and shoot water all over my dirt for hours, nobody cared to help. overall very happy with our Pukte home

We love our new Pulte home! However…… we still are surrounded by new construction so we’ve had a lot of issues with that. Our internet cable has been dug up & cut 3 times. Workers have come into our yard and use our water several times (until we put a lock on the faucet). Lots of trash blown into our yard, Other than that, we like our house and it seems to be very good quality. Looking forward for the surrounding construction to be completed.

There are items that are not functional. Front door latch. All the electrical outlets in the bathrooms.

I love my new home.

Very cheap building quality, quick fix repairs, and a company that prides themselves on quality. Their advertised quality and the Pulte care experience was false. They care about covering up their mistakes quickly and quietly, they care about not taking accountability for major defects, and they also don’t care about using the homeowners time to conduct shotty repairs.

The layout is nice, and the kitchen countertops and floor throughout are nice. The people I've worked with are also nice. But I think that's where the positives end. The process from start to finish was very poorly communicated. The closing was extremely rushed and I'm not sure that's a good thing for a half a million property. 2 months in, I still haven't received things I was promised at closing, or things I paid for that were not included in the home. Would never buy from Pulte again and would not recommend to anyone looking to build new. I've built a new build before and it was night and day better than the process with Pulte. ... More

We are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and response to after sales issues. We are not so pleased with the communication received during the build. We lived out of state during the construction so we relied on the sales consultant and construction manager for timely and accurate updates on progress and delays. The updates were few and far between. We only received then after much prodding and several on-site visits from us.

Our new home is pleasant and as we expected in most features. The features that are especially helpful are the attention to soundproofing between houses, the amount of closets/storage space inside of the house, the size of the master bedroom and bath, and little extra features like the sliding patio door with screen that lets in lots of fresh air. Almost all of the people we dealt with throughout the process were knowledgeable, efficient, professional and responsive. Alfredo, Kit, Bobbi, Scott, and Brian stood out. Barbara with the title company stepped in after the previous representative was no longer available, and was very efficient, knowledgeable, and responded quickly to requests. The Pulte organization seems like a well-run organization. We do wish that the townhome community had sufficient street parking and large enough garages or driveways so that simple tasks like taking out the trash did not require the moving of cars or other items out of the garage. ... Not a great experience. Not a pulte experience

I’m not sure if all big developers are like this but for Pulte I can definitely say this. Don’t ever trust the sales team and don’t take anything on face value which they say. If you have any issues after the closing they WILL NOT respond. However im satisfied with the construction quality and this team’s responsiveness.

We were pleased with the constant updates from the team from start to finish.

Great property location next to Danada Forest Preserve and convenient access to the highway.

Customer service very poor after settlement

I am extremely dissatisfied with the poor workmanship and repeated water leaks in my brand‐new Pulte home. Multiple defects—ranging from improperly installed plumbing to inadequate insulation—have caused water damage to the subfloor, drywall, and carpeting. Despite reporting these issues immediately, the builder’s response has been slow and dismissive, forcing me to personally manage moisture mitigation and mold prevention at my own expense. In my view, these failures go beyond minor oversights; they raise serious concerns about Pulte’s compliance with industry standards and building codes. The refusal to provide thorough inspections or proper remediation, even after multiple incidents, suggests negligence and a lack of accountability. I believe this could leave the builder legally liable for ongoing structural damage and any health risks associated with mold or compromised materials. ... More

From our sales agent, two construction managers and the warranty department, we've only had good experiences. Wish we had more options; i.e., choice of appliances, option for screened in porch, flooring. This is our third downsizing and the one that worked the best. Overall we love the house and are happy with this community and location. I would highly recommend Pulte.

The sales agent at Greystone doesn't do business with integrity. She manipulated numbers in a deceiving manner. If one doesn't look at the numbers closely during the contracting, chances of you being mislead is very high. The mortgage interest rates also was not honored until I say I have to withdraw. Not responsive to calls sometimes and the mortgage department (Noah the loan officer) will respond to calls only when he wants to. To sum up, the experience could be better and more transparent to buyers.

Pulte Homes are quality builders.

Very informative and very professional quality experience!

Too many things they leftover to fix. They said after closing we will fix but now they don’t show up
