Happy to see the quality of the construction and as per the initial design discussed. The construction manager was great and walked through in detail. Working with the Mortgage was also a good experience and easier process to closing. There should be lights installed in every room which makes things easier and don't have to go with contractors to install.

Everything about our process was smooth. Communication was excellent which was key for us as we were out of state. It's a beautiful home and any follow up we need has been answered quickly.

Sales - Kristine was really helpful with our questions/concerns. This helped us pick the right options and come to the point of putting the initial deposit down which triggers the start of construction. Builder - Joe was also really helpful and build our house in timely manner answering all the questions we had. Closing experience - We opted with Pulte Mortgage and Derek was also great at guiding us and getting us best rates. Can be done better: 1. Co-ordinating with various parties including Pulte builders, mortgage, escrow to make sure I have everything needed for closing. The onus was on us and we kept getting email updates anytime there were changes made behind the scene. We then had to follow up to understand what changed and what are our obligations. 2. Quality: The quality of material is decent. The wall paint chips off so easily compared to previous places I've rented. I'd have expected a new house built to have a better quality than the places we usually rent. ... More

Excellent experience through the buying and after purchase. Communication about loan status could have been more frequent.

Pulte Mortgage could’ve been more transparent in getting best rate instead of waiting until the last minute leaving no room to lock the rate. Project Manager, Justin was awesome. He kept to his word and made sure we were comfortable with the quality. He continued to answer calls after closing.

Pulte needs to raise their standards a bit. Trim work detail is very disappointing, fit and finish of some doors is not that great.

Salesperson Mary and construction manager Joseph were responsive and incredibly helpful. What could have been a complicated process was made smooth and hassle-free thanks to the Pulte team. I highly recommend Pulte!

I really like the modern look of the house. The craftsmanship is really poor. Some materials are very cheap. Sales representatives are very good and response to your queries. Expected more valued materials from Big group like Pulte.

Generally speaking the house appears built to industry standards. Have not seen any of the City's building inspection reports so cannot say with any great certainty. However, preventing us from fully moving in, is inadequate final cleaning of the floors and damage cupboards that have not been rectified to date. Both, Pulte knew of after the first walk through. The tile surface is marred by an adhesive and the shelving in the cupboards were damaged during shipping and were still installed. There is also a window in bedroom two that does not close and allows wind blown sand into the house. There are a number of smaller problems that all add up to a big headache. ... More

The Sales experience was positive however we expect more flexibility The Construction Manager, Outstanding personalized Service, Lorenzo S. is genuine customer care professional. The Mortgage experience, we expect to have the most competitive % as we understand Pulte offer good deals but we finish with a local lender The Closing Experience, was pushy and not clear in communications specially with our calls (rude and hanging the phone to us ) . I had not lived in my new home for a month when I had an emergency plumbing issue. I could not get a hold of anyone immediately. My down stairs flooded with sewer water still no response from Pulte. The plumbing company did come and identified that the sewer pipe was broken. It has been replaced but have still not had contact with Pulte. Not the way I would do business

Working with Porter (sales) was a breeze and delightful as I picked the model appropriate for me. Porter was very patient, knowledgable, and courteous. The design center was a bit frustrating and felt rushed because of the lack of information regarding my options. Example, what the actual material was I was choosing and the differences in warranties, wear etc. Prior knowledge of that pertinent information would have been very beneficial and made this process much easier. The finance portion was simple but a bit frustrating as well. I reached out several times to my loan officer to keep track of the interest rates and he was out of the office. By the time he got back to me the rate increased. This happened twice. Auto response and/or coverage during loan officers absence would have been helpful. Also, with the financing, Pulte advertises a low rate but that rate does not actually exist unless one wants to buy down several points, kind of deceiving for the buyer. Lastly, my construction. The home itself I love but there were several issues with the finishes paint, trim, air, heat and other little things. However, Anjelika, (my construction gal )took charge immediately to correct all of the issues. She scheduled followed up and even met the subs at my home when I could not. She truly went over and about to make sure I was happy. Her orchestration and willingness to make it right has made my house a home. I am now a happy Pulte home owner. ... More

We were excited to buy a home and thought we were going with a builder that stood by their product. There so many thing you are not able to see until you move into a house and the experience with the warranty group has been lack luster. So far the responses we have received start with "that is not under warranty" even though the installation was done wrong. I have submitted warranty requests and did not get a response until I went to the sales office. I have to consistently reach out reminding them that there are still issues that have not been resolved. I have decided that it is best that I reach out regarding one issue at a time and once that issue is resolved then move onto the next. I was hoping buying a new home would not be an additional burden to my schedule but it is not starting off well. ... More
