We love our Dunwoody home. So far the experience with Pulte has been flawless. Our sales person, Porter made the buying experience a pleasure and our construction manager, Shane has been with us every step of the build and post build process!

No street lights, poor lawn installation, no light on front entrance, poor/no communication with homeowners

Our house is a great quality-built home!! We couldn't be happier. Even better than that is the care you receive after the purchase which is amazing. Pulte does not just forget about you after you buy one of their houses. If there is a problem Pulte is always there to help you.

Our Construction Manager, Tylor, went above and beyond to ensure our home building process was seamless. He has continued to make himself available for any questions. The Pulte management team stepped in whenever necessary to make certain any concerns were met with our best interest in mind. Our new home is amazing.

Our experience with Pulte was excellent. Their market representative, Maria, was knowledgeable, informative, constantly available, trustworthy, and in constant contact. Pulte's site manager, Harrison provided daily information, and was superb, throughout our build. These key people were the face of Pulte to us. We've built other homes prior to this, so this experience was easy to compare with individual stick builders, not a large corporation. Pulte performed admirably with a very nice design, materials, finishing choices, and most importantly, an open building process. No secrets. House is great but workmanship is spotty. Having to pay extra for items such as a gutter is ridiculous

Great experience start to finish and Pulte people made it easy. People like Hannah, Anjelika, and Anne-Mishoe treat their customers like kings. All the Pulte people we encountered were first class and pros at what they do. After we moved in , we can say we truly have a quality home. There is nothing about the entire Pulte process that I would change.

From sales, to mortgage application, insurance, design and construction management, and warranty maintenance, all were splendid. The house was built in 4 1/2 months with the latest in technology and design options. Though everybody was great, special kudos go to Tom (mortgage), Hannah (sales), Ann-Mishoe (design), and Shane (construction manager). Wonderful team and best experience ever, but this is still ongoing with attentive and expeditious warranty care after closing.

Decent experience. Personally I expect better for the price paid. The workmanship is pretty good. Overall, I would recommend Pulte, but make absolutely certain they are aware of your expectations… It might do some good.

House seemed well built. Landscaping, grass and bushes and trees not very appealing. Asked if they could spruce it up and they didn't accommodate us.

Harrison.has the best attitude. He is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He always follows up on any issues. Kimberly is a great Sales Associate and is always willing to help those she is working with. She provides tremendous support throughout the process.

This is our 3rd experience & it never fails to please. The Dunwoody is an awesome workable floor plan that can be modified to suit our needs. My only suggestion would be to have a separate punch list guy after closing to finish up the undone minor details. The last Pulte home we built did & that worked great. O/W the workmanship & product quality is superior. Our project manager was & is still attentive to the details.

Buying a home should be an exciting and rewarding experience—but building with Pulte was, without question, the worst of the four new homes we’ve purchased. From the very beginning, we were never treated as valued customers. Pulte made it clear that we were nothing more than a nuisance—something they had to deal with, not serve. Every request we made was met with indifference and a dismissive attitude. There was no accountability, no urgency, and certainly no genuine customer care. It was a constant battle to get basic answers and support—things that should be standard when you’re making one of the biggest purchases of your life. We were fully aware that Pulte consistently ranks at the bottom of the top 20 national builders. After going through this experience, we can say without hesitation that they’ve earned that reputation. The so-called “3% incentive” for using Pulte Mortgage is a flat-out lie. There is no incentive—Pulte simply charges you three points to give you the same interest rate you could get from any competitive lender. It’s deceptive, unethical, and exactly what you’d expect from a builder that puts profits over people. We toured five other builders in the Charleston area, and our only regret is that none of them were building in Sea Island Preserve. If there had been another option, we would have taken it without hesitation. To be very clear: we bought this home in spite of Pulte, not because of them. In my opinion we had way to many issues. Issues included, insulation, cement, electrical, communication, and follow through on request requests.

Harrison, Taylor, and Kimberly went over and above to make our home buying experience smooth and a joy, and they continue to provide assistance, recommendations, and help us any way they can since we've moved in!! We are thrilled to know this team is in charge of building my new neighborhood for my forever home!!!!

We have several issues since we officially moved in on January 1st, we close on the house in early December 2024. We had an issue with the stove hood which took about 4 weeks to get someone to come to the house. Once they came to repair it we found out that even though we paid to have the hood with outside ventilation we discovered that there was no outside ventilation. Needless to say this turned into a big project- they needed to cut a whole, replace tile etc. We also had a large crack in the ceiling. When the came to repair it, you could see that there were 2 pieces of sheet rock that came together but had not been jointed so it cause a split. (sorry if not explaining it well- don't know a lot about Contruction). The gentleman that come to repair it has to cut out a large piece of the ceiling to correct it. He did a fabulous job as did the painters that came the next day. These 2 issues have cause us to lose some confidence of the attention to detail during construction. ... More

Working with Porter (sales) was a breeze and delightful as I picked the model appropriate for me. Porter was very patient, knowledgable, and courteous. The design center was a bit frustrating and felt rushed because of the lack of information regarding my options. Example, what the actual material was I was choosing and the differences in warranties, wear etc. Prior knowledge of that pertinent information would have been very beneficial and made this process much easier. The finance portion was simple but a bit frustrating as well. I reached out several times to my loan officer to keep track of the interest rates and he was out of the office. By the time he got back to me the rate increased. This happened twice. Auto response and/or coverage during loan officers absence would have been helpful. Also, with the financing, Pulte advertises a low rate but that rate does not actually exist unless one wants to buy down several points, kind of deceiving for the buyer. Lastly, my construction. The home itself I love but there were several issues with the finishes paint, trim, air, heat and other little things. However, Anjelika, (my construction gal )took charge immediately to correct all of the issues. She scheduled followed up and even met the subs at my home when I could not. She truly went over and about to make sure I was happy. Her orchestration and willingness to make it right has made my house a home. I am now a happy Pulte home owner. ... More

Need more over sight when being built. Can tell they were rushed.

Easy experience with great communication

While I like the home overall, the quality that Pulte keeps telling you about does not exist. Over 30 days post close and our punch list still has not been addressed. The end product is not satisfactory and we still have multiple issues with the home. The bandaids are already falling off. The cabinets are cheap. The only upgrades I would recommend are foundational with extended rooms otherwise I would recommend minimal upgrades and do it yourself post close. When it comes to the punch list, they simply remove the tape and not fix the original issue that was taped. And when they actually fix the issue, they create more. Our driveway is already cracking after bringing repaired twice. The interior paint job is like a 3rd grader did the painting. Nice home but terrible quality. Just prepare yourself for an end product that is nice but lacks the “Pulte Quality,” or maybe this is what Pulte considers quality? ... More

From the initial appointment to after closing, Pulte has shown that they care about the people buying and living in their homes. With thousands and thousands of individual pieces of construction materials coming together through dozens and dozens of workers and trades, issues are bound to happen with any home. Pulte has sought at every turn to keep us informed and make it right. We love our forever home. The Pulte homeowners on our street have the best construction and the least amount of problems.
