Overall, the house structure and quality is better than other builders.

Great sales and superintendent staff, but the lack of quality material is very apparent after living in the home for only 3 months. Almost as shocking is the lack of communication in regards to fixing the issues. Unacceptable for this price point, and a new home. We closed in November, and so far issues include.. AC unit, refrigerator, subfloor/flooring, concrete issue on the screened in porch, and numerous areas where its obviously lazy sub contractor work. We were quite liberal with our option selections, so very frustrating that these "upgraded" items are still sub par.

Pulte has great customer service and is quick to resolve issues.

First the positive: the home is pretty, laid out well, and the neighborhood is great. We love the flow of the home and the overall feel is quite nice. Our project manager has been nothing but superb and has gone out of his way to make things right and we are grateful for him and his work. Having said that, Pulte seems to cut corners and puts up low quality materials wherever they can, and this includes all the upgrades that we were charged for. The painting is the absolute worst. In many areas you can see the dry wall or it is two tone because they put one layer of paint on in places and two layers in other places...on the same wall. They use a flat paint in the entire home which is not recommended for high traffic areas. It has no durability or protection from day to day living and will ding with the slightest touch. Flat paint is cheaper than an eggshell finish but not as durable. In addition, they skimped so much on the paint that the seams of the two by fours and nail heads can easily be seen through the paint. The edges of the walls have not been finished off properly in many places, which results in the edges pushing through the paint. There are numerous paint bubbles and excess paint thickness making for an unfinished looking product. The wire shelving in all closets is of low quality and full of burrs that will snag anything you put on it. The wood quality in several places (door frames, molding, baseboard) is low grade and not properly sanded in places. Towel racks were just randomly put up in places where they make absolutely no sense (i.e. in areas where there is no sink, tub, or shower). This is our third semi custom build and it is the worst quality of workmanship to date. Each of our homes were in the same relative price point. You can certainly get a Pulte home that looks great but beware of quality issues throughout the home. Our project manager, Justin Miller is excellent and the company is fortunate to have him. He appears, however, to be hamstrung by company policies. A few tweaks to these homes would put them at another level, yield better customer satisfaction, and reduce the number of visits to fix things that weren’t done correctly in the first place. Meghan and Nico were awesome to work with! Meghan was extremely responsive and very helpful through the entire process. Nico was very personable, helpful, and always went the extra mile. No matter what time of day I showed up to the house he would be at our house or another house in the neighborhood working to solve problems.

Diane did a gret job with guiding us through the purchase. Justine was terrific with keeping us current on the build. His photo updates were very important to us as we elected to not travel to charleston during this time due to Covid. Justin remains very responsive with post close items.

The entire Pulte team responded promptly, honestly and in a timely manner. It was a pleasure buying a home and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

The lead-time was adhered to from the very start. The construction went smoothly. it was a great experience.

The finishes in the home are beautiful. However, sometimes it feels like shortcuts were taken in other areas of the home in order to produce quantity over quality.

We recently closed on our home and love the house however I'm not sure how to rate it just yet as there are some concerns with our home that we are waiting on to be addressed by the warranty department. Our agent was nice but she forgot some things that we wanted in our home. Our building manager was great about keeping us posted on updates during the building process. Quality or workmanship on the home.... I would give 3 or 3.5 stars for the price we paid. There was quiet a few cosmetic things like scratches, dings and (chunk missing from the plastic on the big sliding glass door, missing caulk, missing paint, paint on the carpet) and overall quality of the subcontractors that were overlooked. There were also a few of things that came up on our inspection report like the roof shingle placement and uneven foundation and sloping in some areas that were noted as carelessness. When I sent an email to the warranty department they were quick to respond and requested a copy of our inspection report. We had our Pulte house built while living in another state for the entire build process. All of the Pulte employees were amazing and always responded to our calls and emails. The field manager was the best with sending us weekly updates with progress pictures and timeline expectations. We even closed on the exact day that they told us from the beginning estimates close date! Fantastic area and we absolutely love our house!

Pulte Builders are the best! They had my best interest at heart and helped me with my sale from start to finish which helped me tremendously being an out-of-towner. I would highly recommend Pulte Homes for their workmanship.

Pulte exceeded all expectations at every step of the home buying process. The paperwork was particularly clear and Amy questions were answered quickly. The quality of the build is quite high and their own punch list was meticulous.

I have had several issues with the home that were not corrected , the site manager stop communicating with me so now I am working with your warranty department hoping to get some repairs taken care of, so the experience was great up until closing then things have gone down hill from there.

During our building process we were working though COVID, unfortunately we lost our sales person but was replaced quickly. Right after we completed we then lost our lead contact for construction. Developing relationship during this process is a key and the loss of both was unnerving. Overall, still had a good experience with Pulte.

As first time homebuyers we could not be happier with our entire experience with The Pulte group. The entire team had incredible patience and knowledge throughout the whole process and took their time explaining everything to us so we knew what to expect. The end result was better than we anticipated. If you are first time homebuyers or just looking for a new build I would highly suggest Pulte Homes not just for their quality or professionalism, but for an overall great and fun homebuying experience!

I’m not happy with the craftsmanship of the work done in the house. I feel like the whole building process was rushing and affected the final product. All contractors came to do their job and run to the next place without proper quality assurance. My experience was a constant effort to tell Pulte to fix things according to my standard expectations of buying a new house (considering this is the third house I bought). And finally, the materials used were traditional. Nothing special regarding the materials used.

Homebuying experience itself was great. However there were some options to make, most especially sound insulation for interior walls. Previous home add this, and it eliminated the sounds of toilet flushing in other parts of the house.

We were buying from out of state, and the entire team was very responsive and thorough.

Pulte reps communicated well, were careful and organized and delivered what they promised.
