Make sure you complete walk through before moving into your new home once you move in it has been difficult too impossible for any problems to get resolved!

Was really pleased with the entire process. The house was completed on time and we were very satisfied with our foreman.

Recommend to ask lots of questions when building new. To participate in the building process as much as possible. We were out of state and were not able to fully participate or visit. Pulte has a great on -site manager at Primus, who is very professional & responsive to our questions after we have moved in, as well as setting up vendor returns for any needed corrections timely.

We are very pleased with Pulte and Alec our project manager. We built our home from across the country and Alec made sure we knew exactly what was going on with our home via calls, texts, and pictures.

I am pleased with the house I had built. Pulte gave a lot of great incentives to use them as a builder. I was overall happy with the process, but there was a lack of communication during the middle of the building process. I feel like they rushed to get my house built by a certain pre-determined date. The final touches were not done as well as I had expected. There were too many houses being built at the same time in my community and towards the end I don't think the builder had enough time to really focus on the finishing touches. All Pulte Staff from Sales, Construction and the Mortgage Department were great to work with! Very professional, handled a 15 day closing with no problem, Not an easy feat!

The quality of work is extremely poor, the finishingwork such as the trim, paint is very disappointing for being a pulte home. In Charlotte NC, Pulte had a reputation for Excellence but i havnt found it hear in the Johns island Arbor community which i bought in. I spent over $500,00 buying and adding items to my home. Im still waiting on my punch list to be completed and I closed on march 13th 2020, I understand about the corona19 ut had no contact after being g told it would be taken care of.

Totally satisfied with process. Home was delivered in time frame promised and costs were within parameters discussed.

I have had nothing but issues, then with the virus nothing getting repaired, once I HAD to give a good review nothing got fixed.

Workmanship sloppy in areas. Paint applied with one coat most places; lacks quality finishing detail touches throughout; bathroom sink smeared with glue. Sound proofing concern - can hear toilet flushing and sink draining through pipes above our bedroom. Screening on porch was lowest quality screen size. Will say that appliances, cabinetry seem good quality. Haven't had full experience with warranty/repair team due to corona virus limiting people into home. Communication was lacking from project manager until build almost complete - supposed to have walk through prior to sheet rock going up, but somehow didn't know 50% of sheet rock was put up prior to our walk thru. Ease of installing cable/internet was pushed at us all along due to the prewiring system, unfortunately wiring was stuck somewhere between floors and took the supervisor 3 hours to fix, this after cable guy also spent 3 hours. We love the floor plan and design of our house. Pulte also does a great job at securing the best lots in the neighborhood. They were very responsive to issues and quick to act. Excellent experience with Pulte.

The buying process did not meet our expectations. Sales and upper management overall did not seem to be trustworthy. Their main goal appeared to be making a sale and as soon as the contract was signed they became unresponsive. Advertised sales prices were lower in Pulte's website and on MLS than the actual home prices offered for the same homes when we inquired at the sales office. Quality of construction was below expectations. Our home was not professionally cleaned at closing. Almost two months after moving we are still cleaning paint drops and construction dust from corners, floors, bathrooms etc. We have uneven floors, a poor paint job and overall shoddy workmanship. We do not feel that we received a good value for the price we paid. Overall we like our home's layout, square footage and how it is distributed. However, based on our experience buying a Pulte home in Nexton I would not recommend them. I would probably never buy another Pulte home again. ... More

The builder and selling agent made buying a Putle home a very pleasant experience. The selling agent was very responsive to answering all my questions and the builder was very thorough in finding and correcting any small flaws in my house.

I was very disappointed with the attention to detail, or lack thereof, that was placed into my home. I have been through home builds before, but this one was not favorable by any means. For the amount we paid, you would have thought that there would have been multiple eyes onsite to ensure quality control was happening. Instead we have damaged wood all over the place, specifically little chips throughout our craftsman trim, and paint that looks like an orange peels texture. I don’t understand why this happened as I pointed it out on several occasions. I don’t think it’s acceptable to receive a home that has wood filled in with “mud” or some filler - but the project manger specifically told me that the FROG often gets overlooked. I also don’t see how Pulte sells a craftsman trim, but somehow leaves trim nails sticking out in 3/4 of the doorways, slightly ironic. I had to call out the drywall on multiple occasions as there were spots that weren’t properly finished or dings and dents that were completely overlooked. The orange peel paint is probably one of the most aggravating things to look at considering it was probably the easiest to remedy at the time of application. The legs of our island were damaged and dented - of which had I not called it out, I would have been stuck with it. The cabinet paint was dinged up by the workers. I had to pitch a small fit over considering it’s the focal point of the house. Our yard also was missing a bunch of sod and it has been a fight since our closing to get this done, which is still an outstanding item. The moral of the story here is buyer beware and pay very close attention. You would think you would get what you pay for, but then again, not so much these days. The process leading up to the build was fantastic. The Pulte team really knows how to make you feel like you are the center of the "universe" when it comes to your build. First, the positives: 1. Responsive to questions 2. Fast build 3. Pulte Mortgage was a good team and was very easy to work with 4. Very few issues along the way 5. Great people to work with Cons: 1. The choices in the design process can be a sham. You get two cabinet choices, both of which are not great. I called Aristocraft cabinetry out of curiosity to see what the cost difference is for different colors. Surprise, there wasn't for 4 other colors. Pulte gives you the worst two colors and if you want more, you pay the premium. This is not a good practice. 2. We chose the radiant barrier for the attic. However, Pulte does not install radiant barrier on the gable wall. I thought this strange so I called the manufacturer of the radiant barrier. They recommend that for complete effectiveness, it be installed at all outer facing walls and the roof. I relayed this message to our site manager and was told Pulte does not do this. 3. The follow up. Several things were missed in terms of touch up and stains and what not on carpet and other small issues. No biggie, it happens and is expected on a new build. After the close of the house, crickets. It has not been a month now since my last communication on issues that were supposed to be resolved on the day of closing. I will say one final thing, the process for the most part was great and we do have a lovely home. However, Pulte claims that they are a step above the rest, but at the end of the day they are just like your Mungo homes or Lennar, nothing special and limited choices on cost comparison. The people we have dealt with are what have made this a good process but they do have a few things they need to change to make it an excellent company, not just another home builder. ... More

Everything went great. We had a little issue but everyone at Pulte was attentive and made sure it was perfect when we closed. Love our home

When we closed on the house, we found the place a mess. There were nails and screws strewn through the lawn on every side of the house and garage. Debris was littered all around. Painters had smeared pain on outside faucet, mortar and paint buckets were washed out and poured in the grass. We have a window that was incorrectly installed and it has been nearly three months with no one correcting the problem. Sloppy is how I would characterize your work and dissatisfied is my reaction to it. One of the subs on the house, the A/V installer has yet to deliver speakers and finish the install. After nearly three months, waiting for a sub to finish a job is unacceptable. ... More

Home was not cleaned as expected. Since we had to be out of the area until move in, we were not ready for the movers to bring things into the new home. Wall dust was everywhere and many areas had not received a final wipe down after walkthrough as directed.

I like that I was able to get every question I asked answered and that the builder was prompt in correcting any recognized mistakes throughout the building process.
