While I like the home overall, the quality that Pulte keeps telling you about does not exist. Over 30 days post close and our punch list still has not been addressed. The end product is not satisfactory and we still have multiple issues with the home. The bandaids are already falling off. The cabinets are cheap. The only upgrades I would recommend are foundational with extended rooms otherwise I would recommend minimal upgrades and do it yourself post close. When it comes to the punch list, they simply remove the tape and not fix the original issue that was taped. And when they actually ...

The only positive thing I can say is our sales manager Sam was amazing! He answered all of our questions and more and was very knowledgeable! Besides that our build was littered with issues and now being in the home a few months still experiencing issues. The quality that we received compared to what we paid for is atrocious! I have a very long list of issues but I'll name off as many as I can. We closed without there being a smoke detector on the first floor that wasn't solved until weeks later. None of the cabinets or floors were covered during the build and are scratched and had paint on ...

Think Twice Before Buying

Our new home was built to a very poor level of quality. It looks like they used bargain bin/defective sheetrock and trim throughout. Cheapest possible appliances, carpet, cabinets, and paint. Wish I had gone with a different builder.

This was the worse experience we ever had building a home. We have built 3 other homes in the Charleston area and this was awful right from the mortgage company on. The workmanship is horrendous!!! They rushed building our home and right from the sod, bushes and trees on into the house it is cheap, poorly done, and still not completed after 2 months of our living here!! Even the appliances were wrong! I would never recommend a Pulte home to anyone and would discourage anyone from building with Pulte.I

Horrible experience, zero customer service, no pride in their work, sloppy, constant mistakes that they never fixed, did not care about the customer at all, just throwing up the house as fast as possible with unqualified workers.

From the mortgage to still trying to get multiple poor quality and craftsmanship issues fixed, it’s been a nightmare. House should have never passed inspection with all the issues. The original “foreman” left to take another position so I guess he didn’t care. The new boss Don has inherited his problems and is trying his best. If this was custom built with conventional construction loans, they would never get the 20% hold “punch list” payment. No wonder Pulte does business this way.
