While watching the building experience was enjoyable the continual issues we continue to have has not been. There has been a lot of pointing the finger when is comes to the repairs that need to be done. Most of which were addressed prior to closing. We have major drainage issues and I’ve reported this numerous times along with pictures and nothing has been resolved. Actually I’m getting ready to email Joy again. Not satisfied!

Several changes made without notifying me

The buying process, NOT SO GOOD ( Lance) lack of information on optional and details. Did not provide all options which changed our buying process and the things we WANTED to select. Mike on the other hands as the saving Grace to keeping us in the house. He’s one of the best representatives we’ve ever worked with. He top notch and knows his craft. He’s the type of people you want managing ALL YOU BUILDS!!

We are the new homeowner from Pulte, just moved into new home since August 18th for 3 days but with many surprised issues. Irrigation system has been set up wrong initially by Loving group who is hired by Pulte which caused $1200 plus water bill for 1-2 months and Pulte told us this is not their responsibility; Important warranty registration information was not shared during closing so we missed good benefits for extended warranty. Cabinets have scratches, lawns are damaged by community truck, we are told these are all not covered by Pulte warranty. We had 2 salespersons. Male then female. The male sold us the home and was rather minsinformed about home options/upgrades and didn't seem to care. He just wanted us to sign the contract and move forward regardless of all the options we could choose. Some of which he either didn't know himself or didn't care to tell us. He was laid off and a female replaced him. She was better. Our first field supervisor was not very hands on nor responsive to get stuff done. He was laid off and replaced. Our replacement field manager was much better in terms of progress on the house. The "trades" they use are sloppy but overall we are pleased with our home. I feel it is a quality home but they could use some finer more attention to detail trades. The 3 star trustworthiness is due to their salesmans lack of knowledge and their first field manager (terribly nice guy) but inability to produce results and multiple lies about fixes that were supposed to have been finished. ... We had some issues in the beginning such as the punch list was not completed by the time we moved in. The person covering for our PM did not follow through except he removed all the tape where we had issues. We are still finding some of those issues now that we had marked to be fixed during our final walk through. Hopefully our warranty will cover it. A mouse was trapped inside the wall and died which started to smell but our PM was responsive and was able to recover the body and an empty water bottle. We wish construction workers were a little neater and took care of their trash better. This comment is not only for Pulte but all home builders. These workers need to remember they are building for others and trash and spillage should be taken care and picked up before putting up sheetrock. They are representing the builder and their don't care attitude reflects in the builder's ratings. Overall the experience with Pulte was good. We love our house. We just wished they had handled the punch list so we're still not dealing with the workers today in addressing them all. We could have also done without the mouse incident since it smelled and we had to continue spraying until the stench went away. ... More

We had great experiences with our sales agent and field supervisor. Steve, our field rep, was especially good--went the extra mile to ensure our concerns were addressed to the best of his ability. However, not even his best efforts could overcome the carelessness and sloppiness of the construction crew, and a handoff issue at the design center has caused disappointment and ongoing frustration. Post-sales/warranty support has been disappointing. It's taken multiple attempts and constant follow-up to get the remaining issues addressed. It's not a bad house, but if you buy here--do frequent walkthroughs and go through *everything* with a fine tooth comb. If you don't, you'll be chasing your tail for months trying to get things fixed. ... More

I had issues with the sales department. One person specifically- then they changed me and I was with someone great. The house quality is great but some small issues after closing. The responsiveness during the building process and after have been great.

Very good service

We chose Pulte because of their commitment to quality and their warranties to back it up. Our sales agent and field manager kept us updated throughout the process and we’re responsive. Post-sale we have found the same - minor cosmetic issues/repairs have been made as soon as we reached out to them with requests. We would definitely recommend Pulte Homes.

Great sales team. Working with the developer was great. Consistent and transparent in providing information on Phase II development progress. Can be confident that you are getting accurate information. Options for selecting finishes, appliances and other items can be limiting. For example, we wanted a free standing tub, which should be a standard option, but was not available. Instead had to get the surround tub, which in my opinion is more costly to build out. Workmanship and materials are average, which in my opinion is OK, but for a luxury home, more attention to detail should be a requirement. Thrown up as fast as possible and the small details have been very overlooked. Their contractors lack the quality they should be showing their clients and the customer ends up having that fight with Pulte and Pulte tries to get away with as much as possible.

I highly would NOT recommend this builder. Paid for a home well over 400K$ and the home was not as expected. First, home has way too many issues with poor workmanship. We had been dealing with the company for over a month since we moved in with problems we encountered, but they took too long to address the issues. The walls are not painted correctly in the interior of the house and you can see the issues that they have two tone colors, doors are also damaged and are also two tone colors with a poor job of painters. The exterior of the house is DIRTY since day one, also the siding of the home is not done correctly and you can stand in a corner and see the curvature of the walls. The lawn took over (30days) for them to come fix since we had holes and many spots without grass and our irrigation system stopped working after a week and they wouldn't cover this issue, After going back and forth with customer service regarding our lawn they finally arrived to only do a poor job once again. The company states that after 48hrs if the water stands they will come fix this, but this issues persists and has not been fixed as they state. They stated to us that " they are doing us a favor to fix the lawn" which i find this highly unacceptable when the company did a poor job. All these issues couldn't be seen until we started living in the home. All the details that we checked and signed were done all last minute and with a poor job. 1. Change filed manager in the process of home building without notifying me until I found out. 2. Not detail oriented (sod is not install correctly, it's uneven and a lot of holes) 3. Outside of the house still need to be worked 4. I love the neighborhood but pulte can do better job than this. If there is a way for me to send pictures I will love to show you what happened to the house. Overall it's not a good experience.

We have always heard of Pulte’s reputation for customer service. This is why we decided to build with them. We loved our salesperson, and builder. We love the design of the home. The only issue we have is with some of the options they offer. The materials can be sub-par, and for this price point we expected better. We have built 5 homes, so we know what to expect. We lived in another state, so we were not able to keep watch or monitor progress as we would have if we lived in the area. If we had known that the options we chose were low-level, we would have paid to upgrade. Otherwise, Pulte lived up to their reputation for overall customer service. ... More

I would love to give PULTE 5stars but, we had a few situations that occurred, but later much later corrected. I would not advocate building a home remotely.

House still have very high humidity because of poor paint, and constructions. Very low quality sprinkler heads. Stones that they installed is not up to the expectations. Granite's are not sealed at all. Light switches in wrong places in the room. cheap plants for this luxury neighborhood homes, poor land grading, never cleaned the yard after roof installs and having lots of nails in the yard, crown molding joints are visible. Low end HVAC units and the A/C failed within a week. Very bad experience with closing. The management don't want to work with us during the Covid19 issue. Warranty team is doing great job and they are taking care of the issues quickly. These houses supposed to be like John Weiland quality. My daugter bought a home from Lennar at low end and she didn't see any issues with the construction. ... More

Great neighborhood, high quality construction, easy to work with even though we went through the build process through long distance. Definitely recommend.

I am excited for my new home and in a beautiful community. Outside of one neighbor, I have no major complaints.

The Central Point community appears very nice, but the interiors of the homes are not as attractive as they should be due to a lack of high quality workmanship. Additionally, my home buying experience with Pulte Homes was very disappointing. My celebration walkthrough was performed while my home was incomplete and while there were serious paint issues everywhere. I also required multiple independent home inspections before being able to feel comfortable with my purchase, and I did not appreciate being rushed to sign on my home before a passing inspection was obtained. Pulte Homes has a lot of potential, but the customer service needs work, and I strongly advise all future home buyers to obtain an independent inspection before purchasing. ... More

I think each building would have been better with a bit of more square footage. Especially with the roads in between the blocks

I think the home is very nice. I have noticed some little things, but most of the work looks like quality work!

For the price paid our expectations were higher. We are unfortunately frustrated and surprised by the lack of responsiveness to multiple concerns we had and have now. Hoping for some resolution sooner than later.

Construction of my 4th new home just happened to be slightly ahead of the pandemic. The mandated downtime made me look closer at workmanship and materials. I noticed several issues that I’ve requested action on, to no avail. Employees come and go, each promise timely service and then disappear. I resolve some issues myself without the hassle of trying to arouse the interest of the come-and-go Pulte workers.
