TERRIBLE attention to detail.

I highly recommend working with a smaller, more localized builder or purchasing an existing home and working with a contractor you can pay more attention to detail with along the way in order to customize. Overall, we like our home because we chose the neighborhood over the floor plans to begin with, but we are also willing and able enough to fix the mistakes made by the builder on our own and with the help of [capable] contractors. Based on the quality of work, we are glad we passed on several builder upgrades so that we can have them installed by true professionals.

Multiple issues addressed prior to closing were not resolved. Closed in March issues not resolved until May - this included a leaky roof. Would not purchase from Pulte again.

Steven has been great but other than Steven this is been a not very good experience for a house we spent almost a $1,000,000 on. We had a water issue the first night we moved in and flooded our basement bedroom over 5 weeks ago. We still do not have padding and carpet on the floor and nobody is responding to our please for fixing this. Steven is trying but he’s not getting very far either. There’s other issues in our downstairs kitchenette with paint on the cabinets and we asked this to be resolved over a month ago - and still nothing - crickets!! I understand times are trying with COVID but ...

Disappointed with Pulte’s Service

We are the new homeowner from Pulte, just moved into new home since August 18th for 3 days but with many surprised issues. Irrigation system has been set up wrong initially by Loving group who is hired by Pulte which caused $1200 plus water bill for 1-2 months and Pulte told us this is not their responsibility; Important warranty registration information was not shared during closing so we missed good benefits for extended warranty. Cabinets have scratches, lawns are damaged by community truck, we are told these are all not covered by Pulte warranty. We feel quality of home is not good and ...

3 main issues throughout the 19 month construction process...yes...19 months. 1.) Poor communication throughout the organization 2.) Poor timeliness in the building timeline 3.) Quality of workmanship was below average. If you're looking for a builder with a lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and blatant basic construction flaws, then Pulte is your company. A company that is clearly interested in THEIR bottom line. Worst buying experience I've ever had in my life.

We really enjoy our home, but the warranty items that need to be addressed after moving in....have been a challenge. We've had appointments scheduled, where no one has showed up to work having to be redone. Really enjoy the community and area....the customer service could have improvements.

We had a bad experience with Pulte. We have walked into Pulte Sales office with specific requirements (lots with flatter backyard) and was routed to the available lots saying the requirements are met with those lots. The lots were considerably flatter when we signed the contract. To my surprise, just a week before closing they made it so steep that all we have is less than 25% usable backyard. We feel like we have been deceived and cheated. We invest our hard earned money to get this outcome. It is not just me, there are several others who have this issue. I would not recommend Pulte.

A horrible experience! The law firm at closing did not have all their paperwork together. What supposed to be about an hour long signing, a lot of the paperwork was already signed, took almost three hours. The house was not cleaned properly prior to moving in, a lot of construction dust was on the floors and countertops. Three days of living here the plumbing was backed up due to a 2’ level being thrown down in the clean out pipe. The county had to come out here and dig up my front lawn 10’-12’ down to remove it and repair the pipe and back fill, then it it took another three weeks to get new ...

Looking at the model home we thought Pulte was good, even during construction when we saw some issues they promised to fix everything before closing. But it has been only a month since we moved in and seeing lot of cracks on dry walls, hearing water flow thru the walls, noticeable uneven flooring, etc.. wish we had noticed these issues before closing, now no response from Pulte to fix any issues.

There are many issues with this home buying experience. First, before we went under contract we were told that the neighborhood would be only homes and that there were not going to be any townhomes built in the neighborhood. We were also told that the area beside the mail boxes was reserved for the construction of a pool with a play area and a splash pad for the children in the neighborhood. With pulte buying experience is very bad. If you trust sales agents you will loss lot. We need to fight , argue with them to get best. We sign a contract with other party on same day, same time and same model. Other party lot have more land nearly double and also cul-de-sec but finally there paid 12500$ less than us. Pulte decrease there price because there fight well and not trusted pulte mortgage. We didn't get any advantage by trusting pulte. We regret our decision. Very bad experience with Pulte. Not at all satisfied. Even the small builders doing great job and service to the customers. Here starting from Sales, Mortgage, Design Center and Construction Manager and Top Management only shows attitude nothing else. I would strongly recommend not to go with Pulte not worth of Money.

Don't Recommend Builder

I highly would NOT recommend this builder. Paid for a home well over 400K$ and the home was not as expected. First, home has way too many issues with poor workmanship. We had been dealing with the company for over a month since we moved in with problems we encountered, but they took too long to address the issues. The walls are not painted correctly in the interior of the house and you can see the issues that they have two tone colors, doors are also damaged and are also two tone colors with a poor job of painters. They do not stand by their product

Pulte sold me a new construction home with a dead tree in the front yard. Customer service rep explained that this is not covered after home closing. Trees were not blooming prior to opening so I had no idea the state of the tree. It has been almost 2 months since closing and we still have the landscaping fencing / barricades muddling our backyard. There has been other issues that continue to not be handled. If you are brave, buy Pulte, they absolutely do not stand by their product.

We purchased our home on line not even seeing a model home. The main item on our list was either a ranch style house or an owner suit on a main level . This is why we picked Hartwell model floor plan. Our primary suite not really a suite because of the size of our bathroom in particular...looks cramped not functional; there is not even a room to mount a towel holder. It's not the only reason of our disappointment. We flew from Denver, Colorado for our "Blue tape" walkthrough. Four people spent three and half hours to cover the house with blue tape. Many defaults in the building of this home. Paid over 400,000 dollars for this home and the Drive way cracked up as well as discoloring of the cement. I’m very disappointed and expected so much more.

I had a very stressful and negative experience throughout the construction process. I received incorrect information about several items, and some things that were supposed to be completed by the closing date are still in progress. Additionally, items that were promised to be delivered were dismissed as mistakes by the sales team. These issues were not even listed in the attorney's documentation as deliverable items.
