We purchased our home on line not even seeing a model home. The main item on our list was either a ranch style house or an owner suit on a main level . This is why we picked Hartwell model floor plan. Our primary suite not really a suite because of the size of our bathroom in particular...looks cramped not functional; there is not even a room to mount a towel holder. It's not the only reason of our disappointment. We flew from Denver, Colorado for our "Blue tape" walkthrough. Four people spent three and half hours to cover the house with blue tape. Note, it wasn't all we could see. Obviously, our house wasn't ready to close in a week as planned even though Ed Norris was trying to convince us in other wise. From poor quality of craftsmanship to cheap material used Pulte has discredited them selves. We moved in our house three weeks ago. We still cannot live our life; don't have time for our projects. Our house is covered with blue tape the trades are coming almost every day fixing and replacing which should have been done right way to begin with. This whole experience of buying a "new" house took away all excitement and happiness. I didn't even mention that the main level thermostat was located in the middle of the wall in our living room. The return air duct brakes crown molding (one of the upgrades) in pieces in the middle of living room. Our dishwasher was not installed according to manual; it was sticking out far from the face of kitchen cabinets. This list can go on and on. As I write my review, there's a trim crew replacing a lot of trims in our house. The bottom line, we regret we've bought our house from Pulte and wouldn't recommend to anyone. Our buying experience stsrted with Bobbie. Bobbie was very proficient at her job . She had good knowledge amd helped us a lot. Nathan has been very helpful . He tried has been his best to address/ fix our concern

I have no other comparison...pulte is the only builder I have experienced. So far so good.

Seeing many bothering issues in the house . And team is not responding.

Prices are higher than usual this days

Our experience with the builder was good except for the Pulte Mortage.. Our experience with the Pulte Mortgage advisor during the closing stage was bad and unprofessional.

The people that I worked with were excellent-Polly Cockrell & Hector DeJesus. The actual products installed (Kitchen & bathroom cabinets, lighting fixtures etc) are low end and skimpy. The kitchen island & cabinet layout were not well designed and are reflective of just banging out homes with little to no thought on function.

Process is good. Good quality. Builders team is good. Suggest pulte Overall good experience.

Overall very good experience. I purchased during the last section of project. So I felt the sales agent moved on to her next development and felt like I was a little bit of an afterthought at times. But I was able to get ahold of her when she was on vacation which was very nice. (Derwin) the Lead PM was very good and communicated on a regular basis. The design process was good. I was told there would be a light in the laundry room that comes standard, however it does not. Would’ve added it if I was told differently but, found out too late to make any adjustments. Very minor and can function without one. Things that could be improved: 1) garage door - I have a tandem garage and it’s very spacious. But the garage door itself is very small. There’s room to make it larger so it’s a little baffling. I have a truck (not lifted) and you have to found the side mirrors in order for it to fit. Even then, you have to back in perfectly otherwise you’ll scratch your car. Not sure if this is a supply chain issue but it’s definitely an inconvenience. 2nd) bathroom sink vanities - they’re basically cabinets. Was shocked to find out they don’t have smaller slide out drawers. So you’ll need to buy organizers if you don’t want your stuff visible or piled on top of each other. I spent over $500k and then added about $30k in upgrades. It’s my opinion that they cheaped-out on that. At least could’ve been an option to add during the design process. 3) window blinds - added the window blinds during the design. They look great. Only thing is that they aren’t included on the doors. Depending on the model you get, they have accent doors (no porch) and basically act as windows but gives a nicer appeal and some character. I have 4 doors that don’t have blinds/shades so I basically spent $2k on blinds for 6 windows. Definitely something that should be communicated upfront. Besides those items, the place looks fantastic and would recommend using them. The home buying experience was phenomenally AMAZING! Pulte has a process which is easy, informative and satisfyingly GREAT! We highly recommend them.

Liked the experience purchasing a home with pulte everything was communicated timely and the build quality met our expectations

I have great experience with Pulte Sales/Accounts/Builder and all engineer and Support post closing, closing team and the entire team of Pulte. Great coordination and keeping home owners posted on any changes or delays of delivery if foreseen. Also, closely follows up on home closing/post addressing of any home issues as part if warranty. Overall satisfied as of today in buying Pulte Home.

Not too bad but typical trac home construction.

Concrete work in drive way and back side of house has already start Cracking in 1 month. Also carpet has nails at few places which heart in your feet.

Overall we were very satisfied with the Pulte experience. I appreciate how the Pulte realtor and GC stayed in touch with us every week to share progress, and allow us to provide feedback. Any feedback would be addressed, discussed and corrected. Although the plans are designed by Pulte, they allow so much customization on additions, decks, in-law suites, basements , materials - my home feels more than semi-custom made! After closing we had some issues that popped up and the Pulte warrantee team went into action immediately with their vendors to get everything corrected - and they followed up to make sure we were happy. Lots of ups and downs buying a house was emotional Rollercoaster but at the end its all worth it and we have a lovely home.

We're one month into a new home built by Pulte. Everyone here at the company is professional and personable. We appreciated regular updates during the build process to keep us in the loop and with our home, we closed pretty much on time. That may not always be the case with supply chain and labor issues. They are responsive with warranty issues, which is good because the home isn't perfect. But no major issues so far, only several minor ones, which we expect all homes to have. Overall a satisfying experience, we'd buy from them again.

I will not recommend anyone to buy pulte house , it would be better if you buy small builder house and save your money. Pulte is very bad and they don’t build quality house. Provide wrong in while booking and hide things at contract time.

This was our first home building/buying experience. The sales, design, construction annd financing teams were all incredibly professional and made the experience seamless. I could not thank them enough for how great the experience was for us. I would HIGHLY recommend Pulte in the Charlotte area to anyone looking to build a home.

The most important thing for us was that the house was ready when they originally said it would be because we were moving across the country. In that aspect, the house was ready when they said it would be ready - so 10/10. Beyond that, I feel like we got what we paid for. It was a spec home (nothing custom) so I would say we got average level attention to detail when it came to finishing the house.

As an out of state buyer, our experience was as great as it was because we had a field manager and sales person who made us feel involved in the process, from responding promptly to our questions to sending weekly updates of the building process. When we couldn't be in person, Nick our field manager took the time to have virtual meetings or just call to talk about any concerns that our inspector or he found along the way. Our sales person, Melanie would find out any information that we needed or find the person who could. It made the experience less stressful than it could have been.

I really appreciated the time that Adam took to update us on the process and immediately respond to concerns we had. I am somewhat upset on the quality of granite that we received in the kitchen, but will contact our warranty agent.
