I bought a home out of state so my experience will be different I'm sure. My husband flew down the week before closing to address any issues that weren't caught the day before by the warranty manager. He flew down a week later to see they had not even begun, even though he was going to our closing an hour later. Since then, we have had sub contractors in and out of our home to do everything from remove paint on floors, clean windows that appear to have smoke damage, remove cabinets to install lighting that they forgot to, cut holes in sheet rock to run a new conduit for internet connectivity (this took 6 appointments to rectify) and the list goes on. He currently has 40 hours and 4 weeks under his belt of being a project manager on a house that was supposed to be complete, all while trying to transition to a new state, keep up with his business, unpack and most importantly spend time with his family. We felt very supported throughout the process and feel that we received a quality home.

Quality of materials and customer service is great, but construction workers workmanship is not the quality O was expecting. Work was sloppy and things were not addressed to my satisfaction in the end. Home is beautiful, but if you look closely at the trimwork/paint...it's sloppy!

Wonderful experience. Sales Rep Cam was top notch. And the contractor Chris was great as well. If there were issues Chris worked to make those issues up to us.

Do your homework. Pay attention. Ask questions. Don't expect honesty, demand it. Follow up if something is not correct. Elevate issues immediately. Give yourself at least 30 days to be in your new home prior to providing a home builder rating.

Employees were all professional and willing to answer questions as needed.

Overall a poor experience. The quality of work was average with many flaws still existing after closing.

Let me just start by saying we love our Pulte home. It’s beautiful, the layout makes sense, and it’s ours! However, not all parts of the process were ideal. The buying and material selection process were great. Our agent, Wayne, was so helpful and answered our million questions. My main concern is the quality of the workmanship of my home. There were so many issues during our walkthroughs where messy mistakes were made and not corrected. Our project manager seemed to brush a lot of these to the side in order to make the closing date and now we’re left submitting request after request through our warranties to get things to the quality they should’ve been when we closed. It’s very frustrating to have the stress of moving into a new home and now having to coordinate all of these visits from the different warranties to correct issues. Additionally, they laid our sod in the peak of the summer and it all died. We knew about this before closing, brought it up as a major major concern and were forced to sign a waiver assuming full responsibility for the already dead lawn. It has been an immense pain to re-grow new grass and now we’re looking at having to re-sod ourselves. It’s so frustrating. The communication during the building process with the construction supervision and sales agent was excellent. The assurance of quality of the home construction and the result after construction met and exceeded expectations. The help given after construction for warranties and post construction issues was very good.

I would never buy a Pulte home again.

The staff are great and professional. Customers are treaded with respect and any information needed during the process is provided in a timely manner. Regular updates are provided on the construction status. The building work was done in a bit haste though. There is room for improvement with quality of materials and especially with workmanship. My previous home was built five years back by a regional builder that had far few issues and higher quality. For the premium cost I paid and for a national builder like Pulte, I must say I was somewhat disappointed after moving into the new home. Pulte made it very easy to be a first time home buyer. From the application, Pulte mortgage and weekly build updates, I felt very informed every step of the way. Highly recommended Pulte!

You really have to stay on top of workmanship. Paint job was sloppy. I really don't understand why builders use flat paint on wall as very hard to clean. I did have a few issues that were taken care of promptly after I moved in. Otherwise a few things that were not addressed so guess now have to wait before one year warranty is up to get addressed. Otherwise for a first time home buyer I love my home.

Good quality home...good value for the price

Pulte's staff were very professional and responsive throughout the entire process, from contract to closing (and now during the warranty period). I would definitely recommend a Pulte home to friends and family. We love our new home!

The sales rep and project manager was GREAT at this location. I'm a licensed RE agent and have gone through a LOT of sales reps and PM's and these two made the experience smooth and easy. They were great at keeping us updated (even with the minor delays) and answered all of our concerns/questions we had.

Highly recommend getting your new home from Pulte. This is my first time purchasing a home and my experience was great. Having a new construction home is nice because you get to witness your house becoming a home. Pulte was amazing and I would work with them in the future if I was looking to buy a home.

Ensure ALL issues are closed and verified before Certificate of Occupancy AND your final closing as I have had a lot of issues getting follow up on items that were verbally discussed and NOT documented in the agreement.
