Everything went smooth and love the new home

We had a wonderful experience building our home with PulteGroup. The team was very responsive throughout the process and always willing to address questions or concerns quickly. Hampton was great to work with and was professional, helpful, and attentive throughout the process. We truly appreciate the communication and attention to detail, and we are very happy with our new home.

Hampton was attentive and helpful to all of our issues. This was a completely different experience than we had building with dream finders three years prior.

We are new to the area and after spending multiple days looking for an house we found Salem Bay subdivision and it met all of our requirements plus more.

Nice floor plan, linen closet is needed in bathrooms.

We loved that we were included in all the process of the build. Excellent communication with our builder. Our sales rep was not as helpful but after communicating with management this improved some Make site you know the covenants prior to purchasing a lot and don’t expect any leeway with input in the landscaping despite offering to pay for things yourself.

Overall a very smooth and enjoyable experance Build quality was great !

The building process was fine everything was explained fine, but Pulte finance was really, really bad. We almost list the home on Pulte's side of things.

We purchased our Pulte home with the understanding that we were buying into a gated community. This was stated on the website and confirmed by our sales agent. This was a major factor in our decision, and we were extremely disappointed to find out after signing our agreement and deposit that this was not the case. This feels like a significant misrepresentation and a "bait and switch" tactic. Our experience has been further soured by a number of unaddressed construction and design issues. We paid for brush nickel fixtures, but they were not installed. When we brought this to their attention, we were simply told the "plan had changed," with no offer to rectify the situation. A major safety and functional concern is the insulation in our attic. It was built with a dam because, we were told, they mistakenly believed the garage was a finished space. This damming issue has not been corrected, and Pulte refuses to fix it, claiming "that is the plan." Furthermore, there is no proper platform in the attic for safe access, which has caused repair teams to refuse to complete warranty work. Pulte's refusal to fix this poses a serious safety hazard and has prevented us from getting necessary repairs done. Our build process was also complicated by a change in sales agents midway through the project. We were never contacted by the new agent and were left without a point of contact for a significant period. Overall, the lack of communication, the failure to deliver on promised features, and the refusal to correct clear construction flaws and safety issues has made our home-buying experience extremely frustrating. Decision to purchase was made during the first in-person visit with Gabby, our salesperson. We had done online research and used the Pulte tools to design the home that we wanted, but Gabby was able to help us tailor our wants and needs around the budget that we wanted to work with. Donna help us with design decisions to further customize to your needs. Bob, our construction manager, was easy to work with and responsive to our needs. My experience with pulte homes was the most seamless process I’ve ever experienced From beginning to end from Rachael who helped me facilitate bank transfers to Michael who walked me through the various systems in the house great team

While the final product looks nice on the surface, my overall experience building with Pulte was frustrating and disappointing. From the beginning, key design elements were either poorly explained or not presented at all — including options like stair trim, siding choices with certain layouts not available and a natural gas line out back. I later found out these could have been included if I’d been properly informed during the design phase. The mortgage process through Pulte’s preferred lender was also a nightmare, adding unnecessary stress to an already difficult build. Midway through construction, my original building supervisor was replaced, and things only went downhill from there. I dealt with hundreds of issues, both before and after the official inspection — far too many for a brand new home. To their credit, the Pulte Care team has been responsive and fixed most of the problems, and I’m thankful for that. But the overall experience — from miscommunication to poor quality control — left a bad taste. I expected more from a national builder. ... More

Unfortunately, I spent almost $700K and have had so many issues with my house. The build manager Brian that we had did not fix anything that we addressed before we moved in. Now we are forced to take time off work to get issues that were part of our third-party inspection fixed. When you do get warranty fixes submitted the contractors do not show up without a call and if they show up they do horrible work because there is no quality control done by Pulte. I have recently put in a warranty request that requires 17 different contractor companies to come back to my house and address issues. We have only been in the house for 3 months. I have also found that Pulte failed to install an electrical plug in my garage that was part of the blueprints and included with the build. I can only imagine what else they have forgotten to install in the house because the buyer is not allowed to have a copy of the blueprints of the house they bought. We purchased one of the model homes. We've owned a Pulte Home in the past and we're very happy with the workmanship. However, this experience has been quite different. Since moving in we have found a number of issues. We have been met with great difficulty having these issues resolved. The Pulte representatives have been rude, they have put us off for months with excuses. The craftsmanship is not what it once was. I would not purchase another Pulte home at this point. Pulte has an amazing team members. From the beginning, they guide and help me through the whole process. They made it so easy. Kudos to Rachel, Jaffe, and Clay. They are amazing.

Our project managers were amazing! Great communication and fast responses. They made the whole process so much easier for us!

Our construction manager Brian made the entire process amazing! He is an asset to Pulte and I would choose Pulte because of him. He made the process smooth and he is genuine and caring. You can tell he enjoys what he does and he does it well.

If at all possible be around the construction process, especially the last walk through. Obtain a dedicated responsible realtor to help.

Our sales manager - Rachel and construction manager - Michael - made the process so much easier. They worked around the clock to help us get everything together and answer all our questions.

The home is beautiful and we love it. But really what impressed me most was the people - Rachel who guided us through the buying process and patiently answered our ten million questions, and Michael the construction manager who so carefully went over all the aspects and features and need to know info of our new house. Both responded so quickly to questions and concerns. It has been an amazing experience.

We moved to South Carolina from Oregon. We wanted a quality home where we could continue to raise our children in a house that embellished the beauty and splendor of the Low Country. We had no intention of building but happened on Pullte models in Malind Bluff in Okatie, and my Wife and Daughters and I fell in love with the Colonial model. Once we committed, we were excited to see the progress from the first shovel-start all of the way to "key day". We cannot say enough good things about our builder Hampton. He immediately earned our respect, confidence, trust, and eventually our gratitude with the finished product of our HOME. Hampton did what he said he was going to do throughout the process, was attentive and responsive, and was acurate with his time estimations. Once we moved in, Hampton told us that we might discover things needed to be addressed as we settle into our house. He told us he was there if we needed him. Hampton has been amazingly responsive to these issues, which I can honestly say, have been minor in nature. Our home is well built and of high quality. When Hurricane Debbie blew through South Carolina, we were a week in our home. We felt safe and had "0" issues. I feel like we got what we paid for in our HOME and more. To us, Hampton has been the face of Pullte, and again, he epitomizes quality! My Wife, Daughters, and I, highly recomend Hampton and Pullte homes!
