Mick was responsive to all our needs. He planned regular visits for us to see the construction. He listened and made changes we asked for. He has come by several times to help with irrigation and answer questions. Top notch person. So personable.

We have been in our home for 30 days now and love our decision. We had a wonderful and seamless experience through the building process and appreciate the level of attention we received from start to finish. I would absolutely work with Pulte again.

We were very pleased with the communication during the home building process! Moving from PA to SC was daunting enough, and the Pulte team helped to ease our worries! From video walk through to texts, calls and emails….we felt very taken care of and apart of the whole process!! We love our new home!

Several items were identified in the new home walk through. Pulte never directly addressed some of them and never made the requested repairs. Buckling Hardy board siding that was installed incorrectly was screwed down tighter, rather than repaired with the recommended gaps for expansion. The dead turf in the lawn was never replaced or fixed. After closing in and move in, we continued to request repairs they had agreed to make. Some were addressed, others never were. We have had to ask and make requests 3-5 times for repairs of some of the items like malfunctioning door locks, cracked and missing caulk and grout, etc. I would NOT buy another home from Pulte. If I had to, I would negotiate a hold-back on funding to be disbursed when agreed to repairs were completed. ... More

The whole team was amazing, start to finish, especially LaShay. She was exemplary and was one of the TOP REASONS we purchased the house. If it weren't for LaShay, I don't know that we would have purchased the house.

Weekly updates during the whole building process and so much more, our construction manager was great!

We found a lack of experience and ownership to the people we had to deal with in buying this house. The law firm messed up our paperwork from the start. It just got worse as we went through the whole process. We ended up having to spend over 2600.00 dollars waiting for our closing date. First day in the house master closet shelf fell off the wall. We have had several problems with windows, door, recessed lights, cracked roof truss, uneven spacing on roof trusses in structure. I will say that there has been a good effort to correct problems. Hoa is very difficult to work with slow and not proactive toward home owners wants and needs to make house nicer on outside areas. This house is our retirement home and I plan to stay here for the rest of my life. I would hope that the past 6 weeks is not going to be a taste of the next 30 years. ... More

From sales to completion with the onsite team communication was great with weekly updates throughout the build. After closing punch list was completed in a timely manner. Mike Phelan went over and above to make us extremely happy.

When I was shopping for my home I was shown the model homes that were immaculate. The sales representative was cordial and appeared friendly on the surface. After waiting months for my home to be built what I received was far from the immaculate model shown. My home was lacking the basics that should be offered with the purchase of a new home. First thing noticed was a lightbulb stuck up in the ceiling where clearly a light fixture should be. When I asked the field representative in charge of construction about it I was informed that I hadn’t purchased a light package. This was odd as I was never offered a light package nor informed that what is considered a spec home did not come with basic light fixtures. All upgrades that I had requested prior to moving in was denied and not allowed as I was informed this home was a spec home. Builder had already picked out all material to be used. No modification allowed. I made note that the master bathroom had been prepped for two light fixtures but was changed to one cheap fixture placed in the center. The previous prep for two fixture was drywall repaired. There are no towel racks in any of the bathrooms. That was also not an option. On the rear left side of the house there is damaged trim work. There is blue tape on the outside of the rear door where intended repairs were to take place but never completed. My rear sprinkler system was placed on the wrong side of the property line. Noted by the company hired to do a fence installation. There are nails and such left on top of the roof. When looking out the bedroom window it’s very noticeable that clean up wasn’t a concern. After waiting a month I finally will receive a mailbox key and gate stickers. This is unfortunate because builders should be more vested in establishing well built communities so that hard working family’s who more than likely are infesting a large portion of their life savings can be proud to call home. ... The purchase & build process was beyond what was anticipated, truly professional. We now have some understandable outstanding items which have come to light since moving in, 1 month, which do not seem to be getting any attention. This is concerning as that list is growing. This seems to be widespread across our development. How do you get Pulte’s attention once they have your money?

Mike was a great field / construction manager and was very detailed throughout the process. Also, Mike provides great & consistent communication throughout the process. Pulte has made it easy for me. LaShay in sales was also great to work with as well and is always friendly and continue to provide us updates as needed as well.

Lashay was great in sales. She answered all of our questions and took extra time to show us features and even another model that our sister in AZ was interested in. Lashay also provided a huge assist with a PulteCould not have asked for any more from her.

It’s been a nightmare. Tons of issues found on the pre closing walkthrough now 5 months later still fighting to get things corrected. The people that come fix stuff just damage more things in the process so we are getting nowhere other than more problems. The communication sucks completely about who is doing what when. People don’t show when they are supposed to I have missed days of work and changed plans over and over to accommodate for no one to show

No issues with Salem bay, great work. Some pieces and workmanship on the house seem to of been rushed and not done properly but slowly getting things corrected

Overall we are happy with our new home. During construction there were many times windows were left open, allowing rain to come in. This resulted in drywall and wood needing to be replaced. The drywall used is very cheap and very thin. Tile work is exceptional! There was a problem with the septic line upon move-in which required a plumber and the county to tear up the sidewalk and clear/reconnect the lines. Our biggest issue is the yard. It isn’t equipped with proper drainage and our grass is constantly soggy with visible puddles. Morgan, our sales rep has been wonderful. Owen, we was our construction contact went above and beyond but he is no longer with Pulte and we have had subpar communication since he left. ... More

Great experience that put my family in a great home!

Very few options for Palmetto Series. Unwilling to budge on anything from cookie cutter plans. Construction Manager was dismissive towards women. He did not listen to concerns until escalated to upper management. Construction defects were grudgingly completed. The various trades did sloppy work. Cheap quality materials.

LaShay was wonderful. Upon meeting her, she was very easy to talk to and explained everything. Tyler checked on us after we moved in and everything was good except for a few minor issues. I brought those issues up to him and they were scheduled for repair. Repair guys showed up on scheduled date and fixed issues. The longer we live here, the more "imperfections" we see in the small details. You can tell they rush through most of the build, but it's a decent new house.

Pulte is a great company and want to build a great house. The only thing is they should let you make changes to customize your home. Nothing major to change just small ones are not allowed and for the price paid small customization should be allowed with no issues as apposed to spending a fortune to make the changes after build is complete

What a joke. This entire process has been 1 fight after another. The construction manager was useless. Any time I had questions or concerns I was dismissed or ignored. Escalating issues did nothing as management did not care, want to understand or acknowledge what I had to say. Pulte quality has gone down hill and they are trading off a reputation.
