Lashay who was very helpful with the move in and sales. Once we moved in, our experience went completely downhill. Our project manager, Tyler, was not helpful and not willing to fix things that were found even the first week of moving in. We bought this home sight unseen all the way from San Diego and were hoping for a much better experience.

We started the process back in February 2022 with a visit to Edisto Beach for a long weekend with the family. What my wife didn’t know is was I scheduled a visit with Pulte and meet LaShay who showed us around the community and walked us through the model homes. Once the kids got to see the model home and the amount of space we could all have it was a no brained to make the move and relocate like so many other in the recent years. The sales agent Rachel was great in every area answered questions/concerns pre and post closing. Allen our building manager was great to work with as well, we trusted our home in his hands.

We are very satisfied with the build quality of our new Pulte home. Everyone has been very professional and any minor issues we ran into after move in were addressed very promptly. All in all we had an excellent experience.

Pulte really went above and beyond for me and my family and I can’t say thank you enough. If you are lucky enough to get Tyler assigned to watch over your build you will be in great hands.

Mike was so helpful always available to answer question and show me progress. Marsha was most helpful in getting g the French door changed to open outward instead of into the table area in the kitchen Rachel was always available when I stopped in. Thanks !!

Great community, hard working people

My experience with Pulte to date. My wife and I arrived late Friday at our new house only to discover the keys provided did not open any locks. (great quality control) The woman in the sales office helped us gain access via the garage, luckily the code was not changed. She then used her master key to unlock the front door. Nine to know they have access to every house in the community. Saturday, we went to the Sales office to inquire about what could be done to get keys. I’m not joking, three agents looked at us dumbfounder, stated they had no idea who to contact and laughed at our situation. Already frustrated my wife and I left and went to Lowes to purchase three new locks, at our expense. Later that week while setting up my office I tripped a circuit breaker that would not reset. I called an electrician who said he had seen this before and proceeded to rewire the outlets because he said there was a short. Within two weeks of moving in I noticed that a tall pine tree on my new property was dead. I contacted Pulte only to be told trees are not covered under any warranty. Pulte sold the property with a dead tree and I feel it is their responsibility to remove this unsafe condition. I will note that I contacted an Arborist who confirmed the tree is dead and should be removed. Pulte last communication was instructions on working with the county for approval to remove the tree. As to responsiveness I had to give one star because they don’t allow negatives. Pulte is totally unresponsive to any issue, and as demonstrated there is no central point of contact where you can go. Pulte’s response – not my job, don’t know who to contact, if you want it fixed do it yourself. Oh yes, Pulte is quick to send you a violation notice because your garbage cans are not far enough back along the side of your house. Received this violation a few days after notifying them about the dead tree. ... More

Finished our home on the agreed amount time. The quality of our home is very poor. Zero supervision of workers and now we’re trying to play catch up to fix our patchwork house. Every time we turn around there’s something else that was done poor or incorrectly. Wouldn’t purchase this home if I could go back in time.

Over all a good experience so far just moved in a few weeks ago. Would like to know when Amenities area will be completed.

Given today’s current market and high interest rates, homes are more expensive than what one might unit expect; that should make the quality and care better alone! Unfortunately, the product we received at the end was flawed. Our home had minor issues that we hoped would be resolved in a timely manner and through miscommunication and error, we still sit with those issues unresolved (paint, drywall, doors…). We did not get the experience we wanted. Construction crew had also urinated in our tubs during our home’s finalization! I hoped We would be treated with value, not just another “dollar symbol”. ... Still have items identified during closing walk through that is not fixed. Quality of construction seems rushed.

I am not happy with the work ethic or the construction of my new home.

The whole experience could not be better. We feel like we are home here. Marsha at the model center was great throughout the buying process and is always so helpful still. The Pulte mortgage process was a little bumpy coming right down to the last minute, but they got it closed. And we got a healthy discount on the closing costs as well. We also used the HOI company recommended by Pulte and that process was a breeze. We used the lawyers recommended by Pulte to close, Butler and College, and they were great! Michael, our construction manager has always been so friendly, helpful and responsive. With a new home, that no one has lived in yet, there are always little things that were not noticed until you move in and start to use everything in the home. Michael has always taken care of everything we need to have fixed since we moved in really quickly. We always feel like a priority. We purchased a home and were very excited about the process and checking on the progress of a new constructionhome. However, we have been let down since moving in with the amount of issues we have encourted and with the lack of detail in the finishes. We have contacted the warrenty team and they have our two page list marked as 'in progress' and we have yet to see any outcome of getting our issues fixed. We have had issues from cracked caulking in the kitchen to a beam that is starting to buckle behind a wall. Some of the concerns we pointed out were overlooked as being 'normal' or we were told that ours looked better than most so we shouldn't really be that concerned. Jerry was very thorough and was as speedy as possible with any changes needed during the supply shortages. I have a beautiful home. Thank you! Lashay is awesome also. She was thorough with all the details if the house and made it a fantastic experience. We love her!!

The Pulte staff themselves seem to be good and want to supply the best customer service and home to the customer, HOWEVER all the sub-contractors are absolutely terrible! Pulte really needs to watch who they are hiring. Some of the work is embarrassing. S3, the siding company especially!!! I suggest looking into some other options.

Let me start off with saying that we do love our new home. But the quality is not even close to what we expected for a $470k new home. The Pulte representatives we have spoken to are extremely professional, but the trades they hire do not seem to provide the quality of work I would expect. The finishings are not installed very well and we are already having issues that we are going through Pulty’s warranty process to resolve and we have only been here 2 months. The warranty process seems to take a lot of time base off of what our neighbors have said. And every single one of our neighbors have said they have some issue with their brand new home, so that is extremely concerning for new buyers looking at this builder. Again, we do love our new home, we just wish the quality was better based off the price we paid and what Pulte promises. ... More

The experience leading up to the close out date was outstanding. The experience once we moved in with the electrical issues was not. Our Construction Manager handled the situation professionally and he had the contractors there right away. When someone moves into a new home there should not be circuit breakers tripping because of incorrect wiring. The electrical supervisor should have found these discrepancies before he/she notified the Construction Manger that they were complete. The start-up for the HVAC system also missed the fact the dampers were wired backwards. Your low voltage contractor (CPI) never completed their required tasks by not terminating the Cat 6 cabling jacks nor were we provided a certificate that the Cat 6 cabling met the minimum standards required for the installation and termination of a Cat 6 network. I corrected the wrong terminations and completed the terminations for the WAP connections that were not completed. Other electrical issues I repaired myself. I have just some minor issues to resolve but overall I am happy with coordinating with Pulte for the construction of our home, your sub-contractors however need a little bit of quality control to ensure negative items don't get repeated for other home owners. ... Overall sales and project management was excellent. Pulte mortgage application process was relatively easy but settlement company was not prepared and missing documents. Overall experience was very positive but would like to have options to upgrade. The builder quality appliances and fixtures are very average. Flooring is nice but no upgrade options. Overall our expectations have accepted and yet appreciated the timely settlement.

From start to finish the home buying and building experience was fun, easy and transparent. The Pulte team made our home building experience enjoyable and seamless especially for a big move across the country. We are officially moved in and have to pinch ourselves every day knowing that this is our home. Thank you Pulte!

I've never built a house before and Pulte made the process extremely easy. The build quality on our house is amazing and Pulte still checks in with us periodically to make sure we are still satisfied.

Too quick on closing walk through. when items found not responsive and even tried to hide apparent fixing.

My contractor, Mike, made the entire experience stress free. He kept me informed at every step of the way either through video, phone calls or texts, and I felt completely involved in the process. I had complete confidence that everything was being handled especially when I wasn’t physically there to see firsthand everything myself.
