Disappointed with the Build Process – Would Not Do It Again

While the final product looks nice on the surface, my overall experience building with Pulte was frustrating and disappointing. From the beginning, key design elements were either poorly explained or not presented at all — including options like stair trim, siding choices with certain layouts not available and a natural gas line out back. I later found out these could have been included if I’d been properly informed during the design phase. The mortgage process through Pulte’s preferred lender was also a nightmare, adding unnecessary stress to an already difficult build. Midway through ...

We purchased one of the model homes. We've owned a Pulte Home in the past and we're very happy with the workmanship. However, this experience has been quite different. Since moving in we have found a number of issues. We have been met with great difficulty having these issues resolved. The Pulte representatives have been rude, they have put us off for months with excuses. The craftsmanship is not what it once was. I would not purchase another Pulte home at this point. Incompetent and Disappointing - Would Not Buy From Again - But Neighborhood is Pretty

The Landings at New Riverside is pretty - it has no golf course to pay for (a plus), and a great color scheme as to the houses. We decided to purchase a Quick Move In option. Prior to closing I did a walk through and we found numerous issues to correct prior to closing (they promised they would correct all of the issues, citing their high quality standards, desire to make things right, etc.); the day of closing (hours prior) I did a final walk through, complete with an embarrassingly large welcome home sign across the garage - nothing, literally, not one single item (such as nails sticking ...

What a joke. This entire process has been 1 fight after another. The construction manager was useless. Any time I had questions or concerns I was dismissed or ignored. Escalating issues did nothing as management did not care, want to understand or acknowledge what I had to say. Pulte quality has gone down hill and they are trading off a reputation.
