Generally speaking, Pulte's standards are high and their responsiveness to issues is excellent; however, there is room for improvement when it comes to the supervision of subcontractors/business partners during the final "finishing" construction phase. Some finish items need more attention to detail: carpentry trim work, final painting (we had lots of "overspray" at the crown molding/wall area; crooked electrical switch plates; granite not polished (rough edges); landscaping selections don't fit size/scale of yard. The worst issue we encountered was an improperly installed door threshold/quarter-round trim molding that our small dog caught his paw in, twisted and ruptured a disc resulting in emergency spinal surgery. If the installer had taken five extra minutes to fix the "gap", there would have been no hazard. So, as stated above, more attention to detail needed with the subcontractors performing the finish work. We especially love the modern layout, the generous room sizes, the flooring options and the master bath is fantastic! Pulte has extremely high standards overall--so work with your construction representative and field supervisor closely to ensure the finished product meets their high standards and your overall expectations. Anthony was our building manager, and he did an excellent job from start to finish. We kept our request to a minimum and he was able to complete them all.

Overall very pleased with our house. Project manager was very helpful with correcting any problems that we discussed with him.

Had a rocky start to the home buying experience as builder kept pushing to buy lots that we were not interested in and spending a premium for those lots. Once we came to an agreement on the lot, the process with the builder Project Mgr. Nick was actually very pleasant. The design center was a little bit of a disappointment as some of the items we selected before our actual meeting were discontinued. Meetings and weekly updates by Nick kept us in the loop with what was happening and the timeline for completion. Used their Mortgage company as the incentives were hard to pass up. Settlement itself was a breeze with no issues. Build quality and attention to detail was a big sell for us. Our first construction manager did a great job inspecting the site and making sure corrections were made. He did such a great job he was promoted before he could finish the last month prior to our closing. His replacement was less attentive to details and following through with actions. I wish we had a third party inspection prior to closing.

Sales office staff & builder are very helpful. Five Stars ! As for overall process, I don't feel safe in my new without a functioning Ring doorbell or fence for my dog which is a long process & waiting time. The company has not activated the Ring after several calls & 40+ days

I have had to call on Eddie several times since our walkthrough. He has been very prompt and helpful each time.

Build was quick and accurate. Minor cosmetic issues, a few mechanical, all addressed in a timely manor.

Sales process was solid. Mortgage process was fair (positive with advisor / negative with processor). Building quality manager was fantastic pre-closing (very helpful and attentive) - but disappeared after we submitted a positive survey result. Overall pleased, just currently frustrated as we are unable to close out 4 simple, lingering issues since pre-closing (2 months post!!).

The overall workmanship of the paint, floorboards, and Sheetrock taping seemed to be ok. There are some areas where the work looks amateur-ish. Some floor moldings didn’t get covered thoroughly with paint, and when carpet was installed there are cuts in floor moldings made by the knife used to install carpet. There are areas in Sheetrock were you can see the seams. 2 weeks After we closed my stove shorted out, and there was a crack in one of the tubs upstairs. Both issues were resolved quickly.

High costs for options

Overall build quality is good. Be sure to ask beforehand where the outside unit for your A/C will be located. We didn't ask and ours is outside our bedroom window. Not happy about it, but can't do anything about it.

Pulte offers a very nice home building experience. They have several models to choose from and the quality of work is very good. Just be sure to review all the options before you sign your contract so that you can tailor your home to your liking. These are not custom built homes but you have many options to choose from and can build your dream house at a very affordable price.

The building experience was very easy and satisfying; the salesman Conor and the foreman John were extremely helpful and courteous with every question asked; any response times needed were very good; we are extremely happy with our homebuying experience.

Building from afar is always a challenge. My sales agent Matt was always there to answer my questions. Phone calls and texts made the process easier. Weekly photos were much appreciated. My Building Super was great too. Thankful for John overseeing the actual construction.

Had some unique issues to start before moving into the new house, but pulte apologized and made good on those problems. We love our home and feel we made the right decision moving here.

Overall, Pulte builds a good home. The one area we were not happy with was the quality of the finish trim work - too many gaps and too much caulk used to hide mistakes. Our field manager was OK but not overly responsive. Workmen were very sloppy. Strongly recommend with Pulte or any of the big builders that you visit the property at least every other day to make sure things are done properly. Would not recommend having the home built while you are living elsewhere as you will likely have a few unpleasant surprises when you show up for the closing.

Our Sales person was awesome, she guided us perfectly through the beginning process. Our Building supervisor was also an awesome person, fun to talk to, but he didn't do what he had promised us , which left us no choice to see help from other management. The end result was good,...it just could have been a little smoother.

After making a deposit, we waited months for our home to begin construction. We paid for an unfinished garage. However, the sheet rock, tape and mud were a mess and required a professional to smooth out the wall and make them paintable. All of this was added expenses that could've been avoided.

Overall the project manager does his best to resolve building issues and he is very responsive to our concerns. The subcontractors need more attention to resolve and detail.
