I will never build a new home again and I most definitely will not use Pulte. One bad experience after another.

Danny, Nick and the Executive team did a great job in a very difficult market! Not everything went perfectly but Pulte stood behind their commitment to make it an awesome experience! We love our new home in Independence at Carters Station. As a bonus, the neighbors are the best!!

Now that I have lived in the house for a while I can see every corner that was cut, and every penny that was saved. If there was a way to save money by using cheaper materials or process, then it is easy to see which choice was made.

So very disappointed in the quality of workmanship in our home. Lack of attention to detail. Once we were in our home we noticed so many things were completed sloppily. Felt pressured to give a good review on their in house survey. Actually had someone tell me we would be taking food out of their Families mouth if we did not give them all 10s. Made us wait well past the time communicated the home would be completed as well. Feel like the home was just thrown up.

The experience is not what I thought it would be. With over fifty items still to complete, they force you to close or they will sell your home to someone else. I am still waiting on every type of trade to come complete projects. There has not been any response at all from the warranty department and it has been almost two months. I know I am not the only one in this predicament.

Pulte builds a high quality home. All of my questions were immediately answered - felt like they really cared about making me happy. My only minor quirk was that they use a low-cost interior flat paint - everything else is quality so not sure why this practice. Very minor - very happy with my new home!

Quality of the Material/After sales services is poor

Quality of house is not as per my expectation, For example stairs are losing their color and the after sales services team is unable to support saying it’s out of warranty , similar is the case for small other points where I am not even calling now or raising services requests as I have very low expectations from Pulte services team , as the answers are mostly to ignore the requests.

Pulte are really good with their commitment. They take responsibility for the things they deliver. A few things that we don't like about was the charges they do have onto the upgrade options. They do provide the time frame for the closing which is really almost 4 months which really doesn't help if you are renting the apartment in your current situation. And qualities wise they always talk about the Pulte standards if you really find any defect or something that you really don't like with them.

The build of The home seemed okay when we walked through it, but the actual finishing of the home was terrible. The painting was atrocious and the house was left a mess. Grout work and tile was done poorly. Front door threshold brick doesn’t come up to meet the actual threshold and needs to be redone. Crumbled cement corners. Doors are hung crooked and outer doors don’t lock without pulling/pushing hard to close; strike plates don’t meet. No attention to detail. Although the issues were supposed to be resolved several times, they were not or you’re told to file a warranty claim after the ...

This was the third home we’ve purchased, second one we’ve built, and this was by far the worst experience of the three. Communication was non-existent, deadlines didn’t matter, and the finishing work on the house could’ve been done better by a high schooler. The only saving grace is the location of the property, the schools, and our community. We have great neighbors and live in a great area.
