Lack of communication and lack honesty from Pulte staff

So very disappointed in the quality of workmanship in our home. Lack of attention to detail. Once we were in our home we noticed so many things were completed sloppily. Felt pressured to give a good review on their in house survey. Actually had someone tell me we would be taking food out of their Families mouth if we did not give them all 10s. Made us wait well past the time communicated the home would be completed as well. Feel like the home was just thrown up.

The kitchen is great. Everything else is good but not as good quality as we were expecting with what we paid for it. It looks very nice at first glance, but once you move in you notice so many details that were missed (like bathroom counters half an inch away from the wall on one side, etc.). In the building process, a lot of nice and assuring words were said that did not necessarily always happen in the end.

I don't think the quality matches the price paid. No towel rings or bars in bathrooms. Have to buy the refrigerator. Other appliances not that great. Garage interior not painted . After closing very slow response to questions and concerns!!!

I have moved in to my new house on April 13 2022. Over all experience with team is satisfactory. Few callouts/areas for improvement are 1. Landscaping team did not do acceptable work at my house (Grass & plants are not maintained well). I have raised tickets to Pulte team regarding my issue. I am sure Pulte is paying well to the supplier but should not accept such quality work. 2. Quality of work is not satisfactory- callouts shared during house inspection are not catered 100% (refer to my open service tickets) 3. Response to service tickets is not acceptable- 3 weeks for plumbing work ...

We love our new home. As the build began to come completion we had some issues develop and because of lack of responsiveness in communication, had some last minute changes that was not part of the original plans. In the end, the builder came through.

Unfortunately, after moving into our new home I notice more and more quality issues every single day. The dry wall is so cheap it feels like it could crumble just touching it, there are many walls where the corners are not at right angles and are crooked, the drywall has many imperfections, I am seeing the tape lines in the ceiling under the drywall, there are ridges under the carpet where the flooring doesn't meet, window frames are starting to rust (we have been moved in 2 weeks), front and back porches have huge cracks forming...I could go on and on. Financed through Pulte. Lived on property approximately 2 months. Construction still going on in the rest of the development. Dealing with attitude and disrespect from construction workers who seem to forget that I paid A LOT of money to live in the home they built. Home quality- walls are paper thin. You can hear family members in the next room. You know EXACTLY where other members of the household are based on sound traveling through walls and floors. The Good: We were kept up to date all the time by the Field Manager. He was very helpful and always willing to answer any questions we had. After closing our warranty person was also incredibly helpful. The post closing warranty is quickly righting a lot of the wrongs stated in the bad. However, initial impressions of the Pulte Quality of the home were not good in a home that costs well into the seven figures. Slow motion train wreck

This was the third home we’ve purchased, second one we’ve built, and this was by far the worst experience of the three. Communication was non-existent, deadlines didn’t matter, and the finishing work on the house could’ve been done better by a high schooler. The only saving grace is the location of the property, the schools, and our community. We have great neighbors and live in a great area.

LOW QUALITY CONSTRUCTION - NOT TO PULTE STANDARD

The quality of pulte has gone significantly since the covid . It's been 26 days since we moved and we are already seeing the commode water drain peeling of from the wall. Also the windows are of very low quality. They cut corners to save money and make profits with cheap quality materials. Tankless water is making loud noises.

Quality of house is not as per my expectation, For example stairs are losing their color and the after sales services team is unable to support saying it’s out of warranty , similar is the case for small other points where I am not even calling now or raising services requests as I have very low expectations from Pulte services team , as the answers are mostly to ignore the requests.

Quality of product very poor. Sadly with a spec home you don’t get a choice of products. The products used in the home are amongst the most cheaply produced (i.e kitchen cabinets, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures etc.)

Our sales rep Danny was great. Our framing and drywall inspections were fine. There was zero quality control after drywall was installed. Closing day was hectic with multiple major repairs being made. The “celebration” was a joke. It was spent identifying large and small issues around the house. Many have been resolved, but most are still pending. Damaged entry doors, broken flooring, scratched tubs and more touch up. We love the layout of the home and our lot.

The builder had limited options for upgrades and even then the upgrades were pretty expensive. The quality of the work done while building the house wasn’t great at all. I don’t know if they were so short on labor that they just hired whoever to do the work, but the workers sure didn’t care about the quality of the work they did. Most of our 1st floor had to be repainted because they rushed through it. We already have a plumbing issue on the 1st floor and they yet have to send someone out. Overall not a good experience for the money paid.

I'm very disappointed in the quality of workmanship in my NEW home. I feel that the house was thrown together and that nobody from Pulte was overseeing the build. The downstairs flooring has been an issue since before closing (8 weeks ago) and is still an issue today. I was told by Chad that once I put a rug and furniture in the room I would never notice it. There was paint left on the tile and carpet. The carpet in one room was cut and glued back together, but came apart, and the "fix" was to glue it back together again. The field manager is great! He was the trustworthy one, responsive to our issues, professional and kind one throughout the process. The overall experience was over shadowed by the Pulte Mortgage process. Our two reps really lacked communication or timely response. We have found now that we have moved in that there are some strange items. Electrical trips often, one outlet will blow the whole room no matter what we try. Ceiling air vent cover falls bc the hole was cut too large, we fixed it. I haven't been able to use the new dishwasher bc it has been broken since the first time of use. ...

From start to finish alot of errors where made. Talked to other owners in area and it seem the options offered to some owners wher not offered to others. There is not a paint and lighting options
