It was a nightmare with Pulte. They never gave clear timelines. Huge mismanagement. No proper planning. Delays on everything. Now seeing at other friends houses from a different builder I see how bad Pulte’s work is.

If you’re looking for just buying home with minimal requirements its a good place not the BEST

It was good but could have done better

The Sales Team where phenomenal LaMonica and Carlton. Exceptional sales agent and represented Pulte very well. They were kind, caring and exceptional. The Building Managers Fred and Brad very good guys and walked us thru as the house was moving along. They were always responsive and made themselves available to us. The nightmare started when it was getting close too closing in the home and the standard that Pulte claimed too have went out the window. On closing day, the house was so dirty that you wouldn't nor even believe it. The price we paid for the house did not match the quality of how it was built. We would know because this is the 3rd we have built in the last few years. We called them out on the crappy work their vendors did and the low quality. They were apologetic and said they would make it right. So for the first 3 weeks of moving into our brand new home, service folks were coming in fixing issues. So instead of enjoying our expensive brand new home, we were waking up to service people fixing things and even with all of that not everything was taken care of. 2 months into moving in and living in the home, it is glaring that the quality of work sucks and was shady. The Area Manager was called in but since then we have not heard from anyone. Not even a "we are sorry note". Not a follow up. I guess this is what corporate greed looks like. You buy a very expensive home during the highest real estate prices in history and companies like PULTE, bid, strong and bad take advantage if you. Sales team was good and kept me informed on every progress Walkthrough team was great, they helped identify all changes needed. walked me through the warranty details and other important information. overall the team was very helpful and flexible to accommodate the needs.

There were 3 price increases while we waited to sign the contract to build. The developer and builder own the HOA. We wee told the community prohibited investors and rentals, but we have discovered two rental properties by investors. The builder and warranty division are non-responsive. Don't close on your house until the builder performs on all items of your punch list. After you close, you are not a priority to them, and they forget about you. You are no longer a priority after you close so beware.

First of all, the people on site are wonderful! I had a bad experience with the design center. The wrong layout for the kitchen was ordered. No one told me the slider shelves ( as shown in the model homes) were only going to be the upper shelf. I am very disappointed in the quality of the painters. Many small drips on the new flooring and poor workmanship on the caulking, and top and bottom edges of doors are not painted. The texture of the shelves and trim is very rough, could have used a quick sanding. I know it’s hard to find workers at this time. The Pulte title people scheduled the closing way before the house was actually move in ready. The Pulte peolpe on site are wonderful! ... More

Bad quality material. Very bad Builder and construction manager. Terrible paint service. They use very cheap materials. I was very much disappointed with the Builder.

Pulte Mortgage was a nightmare to deal with, in particular the loan officer we had assigned to us. He was not responsive to any emails sent or phone messages left and overall not the best experience as we have dealt with many mortgage companies in past. His Assistant Clay was excellent. We advise better communication between project and mortgage company due to all the delays because of labor shortage and supply chain issues. We sent same batch of paperwork to Pulte Mortgage at least 3 times, if not 4 as we were told it became outdated due to closing kept changing. In our total frustration, we ended up going with another mortgage company who accomplished all in 2 weeks. Lastly, We very much resent the fact that due to another delay in closing, we were required to pay $1100, to our mortgage company to lock in our rate for another week. We were informed immediately by Pulte rep when we went with another mortgage co., that we would be charged approx $150 per day by Pulte if our new loan people were not ready at closing. However, when the tables were turned, and Pulte wasn’t ready to close on 9/21, Pulte rep said management would not honor and pay fees charged to us even though Pulte was at fault. We did not close until 9/29. Shame on upper management, we should have been reimbursed the $1100. Easy closing of the house

The whole experience with Pulte Homes was very pleasant from the beginning to completion and closing on the home. Received communication on the progress of the home regularly. Enjoyed working with the friendly, customer focused team at Pulte homes.

The sales consultant and the overall buying experience was fantastic! The quality of the home seemed like they skimped a little. Walls/ baseboards aren’t even straight or even.

Everything went great with my purchase I like their integrity and honesty, a solid contract upfront, good communication and quality work. We’re happy so far.

Our house is great but we as we started living in it, we started to notice the poor paintwork. We called out many items during our walk-throughs and they were either not done or they were done very poorly. We also noticed the floors are chipped in certain areas and our garage door is damaged.

AC, electricity, and gas work well overall. Light in the living room was not blocked for ceiling fan, like the specs indicated. A work order has been put in. Drainage pipe for the washing machine hookup did not have a cap, leading to water leakage into the garage. Builder grade carpet and paint lead to sub-optimal quality. Overall, happy with the responsiveness of Pulte warranty, and glad we were able to close without running into further delays.

Good and building process is good

The employees are absolutely great! The whole buying experience was a pleasure.

Love our home, but disappointed at some of the final work. A lot of painting that needs to be redone.

The process took a lot longer than expected. This construction manager kept us updated every step of the way and managed our expectations. The workmanship of the house is good and the quality of materials is good.

We were excited to enter into contract with Pulte on our new home back in July 2021. The interaction with the sales team through the majority if the process was excellent. Tara was pleasant to work with in terms selecting our floorplan and upgrades. She communicated extremely well with us and we were grateful for her services. On the other hand, our experience with the construction team was poor. We had 4-5 different construction managers along the way thay didn’t provide us with the best communication. We never felt a great connection with any of the construction managers, we actually felt as if we were being passed around without any consideration of our experience. It took over a year to complete our home, after we were told it would only be 9 months. We were very involved with our home project from start to finish, we visited the site 2-3 times a month to witness the progress. While slow at times, we did notify sales/construction of issues we noticed on the quality/workmanship of the home as is progessed. We were reminded various times that all the quality issues on the home would be addressed 1 week prior to closing. We were also assured that ALL the quality issues we highlighted would definitley be resolved before we closed. I was always skeptical as I witnessed the slow progress of the home being built. None the less, I put faith into Pulte to resolve all the quality issues before we closed. With that said, we closed on our new home in August 2022. We were disaappointed that the quality issues were not fully addressed prior to closing, as we were continuosly assured. As of 10/05, as I provide this review, we are living in the house and are still having to put for effort to have Pulte resolve the quality issues in our jew home. It is quite disappointing to have a brand new home, with all new construction and upgrades that we selected along the way, just to witness the lack of quality that Pulte sold us on in the begining as being their top priority with their customers. Since we moved in, my wife and I have not been able to shower in our upgraded spa shower that we paid for. Not one shower! This is extremely frustarting and downright unacceptable. There remain multiple issues with our Spa Shower and Master Bathroom as a whole. Not to mention they other issues throughout the house that have yet to be addressed. The communication is lacking with addressing these issues and confusion seems to be an overwhelming sense amongst your Pulte team members and trades we have been dealing with. I have lost just about all faith and confidence in Pulte to provide us with good communication, a sense or urgency to address our concerns, or to even a quality product! Our experience began with excitement and joy, but has quickly deteriorated, which is unfortunate. Right from the beginning, it was so tough to get any update from the construction manager. Target closing date Aug 2021 got delayed for 1 year. Finally closed in Aug 2022. Final walkthrough was a nightmare. They missed to put the window in one bedroom and got caught during inspection. They keep telling about staff shortage but it dint seem true since they are building scores of other houses in the same community. Construction manager didn’t bother to inform us of the status. We kept pushing to get the closing date and finally ended up paying sky high interest, only because of a careless construction manager. Horrible experience with this construction manager. ... More

It’s nice experience working with them. Reliable and Responsive. I would recommend Pulte to my friends.

The support from the Pulte employees has been fantastic, but unfortunately the workmanship has been terrible. Within a month on living in the house the following has happened: Garage door collapsed and needs to be replaced. Half of my kitchen has been without backsplash for a week because the countertop needs to be replaced. Once replaced, who know when the tile company will come back to put the backsplash since they are never available. Nails were sticking out all over the carpet around the stairs. All the edges and doorways and had my kids get cuts multiple times. This issue was finally fixed a couple of days ago. The tile in the first floor bathroom needs to be redone since they left over an inch gap against the baseboard filled with grout. Multiple tiles on the second floor need to be replaced due to lipage. The grout finisher on the bathroom walls is terrible and needs to be redone. Nicollet and Steven have always been there and the experience with them has been great, But it is hard to trust the quantity of a builder after you have all this issues and the response from the subs is non urgent and in cases they try to tell you that there is no issue (like the tile and carpet in my case).
