Good budgeted home in an great neighborhood

My experience was good in terms of home buying, and but since we closed, we have been identifying the issues pretty much in a lot of things, which made me lose trust on how the builder has handled the construction, and why within just first 3 months we've been experiencing all these issues.. I would recommend exercising caution if anyone is buying from them.. but to their credit, so far the responsiveness has been great, and they are resolving issues (although there shouldn't have been any in the first place)

It was not an overwhelmingly bad, nor amazingly good either. It was an ok experience. They have a very technical approach for everything which takes human aspect away. When they were delayed with construction because they had challenges they were happy with me because I was kind to them and praised me. But when I was 3 days away from end of my rental and they were still not done with finishes I saw no humanity in them to come to me and tell me that we are pushing closing ahead. So it hurts to see that they enjoyed my kindness to them but were not willing to show that to me in return.

Pulte delayed the closing, yet much of the work seems rushed

If asked "Would you recommend Pulte to a friend?" my answer would be "No." While many of the individuals I've interacted with while purchasing from Pulte have been helpful and pleasant, the overall process was neither enjoyable nor satisfying. Sales Process: 3/5 Build Process: 2/5 Warranty Process: 4/5 SALES: The sales rep was generally helpful and nice. I did find that it became much harder to get a hold of her AFTER we signed the initial contract. Overall, though, a decent experience. BUILDING: Though when we entered the contract we were told that closing should be able to ...

Pulte overall was ok but they did not work as a team between sales, builder and mortgage, and title. I was hoping that but having everything in one place the experience would be smoother but many times the staff would respite d that’s not my job .., it’s the other department job… while I understand each plays a different role the responses and willingness to help resolve or transfer calls within the organization should have been done with the customer in mind. I was purchasing my home from a distance and hopped by having everything under one company would have provided for a smoother ...

I'll start with the positives: The sales manager was the most positive aspect of this experience. He was kind, helpful, and consistent. The price of the home was also fair...but the low price was also paired with low quality. The negatives: Squeaky floors Uneven, lumpy carpet throughout the upstairs Cabinetry installed crooked Cabinet trim cut incorrectly Screw holes in drywall not covered up Paint drippings throughout downstairs floor Deep scratches on the glass on office doors Many of these issues were brought up in the walk-through and pointed out to the construction ...

Quality of workmanship from the beginning was n it good. Construction management changed over the process a couple of times I feel that the onsite managements hands were tied by upper management and they deal with the contractor as best they could.

Had I not been onsite there would have been so many things that would have had to be addressed at closing or under warranty because of poor workmanship and not being noticed by management onsite. Raylan did the best he could to follow though with the issues but he was trying to oversee contractors that didn’t care about their work. When Josh took over things changed. He was able to address the issues and get them corrected the first time I pointed it our not after I had to stay after him several times. In the end I am happy with my home I just know that some of the other neighbors who were ...

Pulte home buying process took much longer than expected beyond what was communicated. After the lumber shortage ended, delays were CONSTANT. Much of the contractors in this community were unreliable, slow and didn’t provide as quality of a product as Pulte was charging.

Chad from sales and Jeff the construction manager are great. They quickly answered any questions and addressed any of our concerns. Most of the construction materials appear to be of quality and overall build of the house is good, but the attention to detail by the contractors is not there. Not all of our concerns were addressed before closing, but Jeff stayed in contact with us to make sure we were taken care of. Warranty process is simple and the response is quick. The loan process was by far the worst I have experienced. The Pulte website to upload documents was very problematic and ...

Horrible experience. House was delivered after 2 years of signine and it felt like i learnt construction engineering in the process looking after everything at each step. Except for the last CM, we wouldn't even have closed in the 2 yrs. He is extremely detail oriented and focussed. He is Pultes chance for revival of their name.

My home took 13 months to complete and it wasn’t even complete! Pulte fired my project manager and gave me a new one 2 weeks before closing. The quality of work and attention to detail was horrible and the new project manager has done a wonderful job of making things right but the home took entirely too long to be built for there to be so many issues with the home.

Solid experience overall, difficult time to really compare because of the supply chain issues and other factors out of Pulte control. BUT - the neighborhood currently has so much trash in it due to the construction and workers. I have to clean my yard, DAILY, of multiple pieces of trash.. cans, food wrappers, beer boxes, construction trash, etc. It’s really sad, and makes me disappointed that Pulte does not care for the environment at all.

The construction manager was great and answered all of our concerns. The male sales consultant needs to be more diplomatic altho Karla was attentive to all of our needs. We still don't have the keys to the community areas such as the pool, etc.atic

First of all, the people on site are wonderful! I had a bad experience with the design center. The wrong layout for the kitchen was ordered. No one told me the slider shelves ( as shown in the model homes) were only going to be the upper shelf. I am very disappointed in the quality of the painters. Many small drips on the new flooring and poor workmanship on the caulking, and top and bottom edges of doors are not painted. The texture of the shelves and trim is very rough, could have used a quick sanding. I know it’s hard to find workers at this time. The Pulte title people scheduled the ...

AC, electricity, and gas work well overall. Light in the living room was not blocked for ceiling fan, like the specs indicated. A work order has been put in. Drainage pipe for the washing machine hookup did not have a cap, leading to water leakage into the garage. Builder grade carpet and paint lead to sub-optimal quality. Overall, happy with the responsiveness of Pulte warranty, and glad we were able to close without running into further delays.

The support from the Pulte employees has been fantastic, but unfortunately the workmanship has been terrible. Within a month on living in the house the following has happened: Garage door collapsed and needs to be replaced. Half of my kitchen has been without backsplash for a week because the countertop needs to be replaced. Once replaced, who know when the tile company will come back to put the backsplash since they are never available. Nails were sticking out all over the carpet around the stairs. All the edges and doorways and had my kids get cuts multiple times. This issue was ...

Initial the process was slow primarily due to supply chain issues. But then the problem was with the construction manager never meeting deadlines because too many houses were being built in parallel. Thanks to Josh, a supervisor, he stepped up, made all necessary corrections, and reduced more delays. The overall delay was of 3 months. So, it is important having a contingency.

My experience with the sales office was absolutely phenomenal. They were amazing. Pulte Mortgage, on the other hand, almost made me lose the house with their lack of information and incorrect information. I had to seek out my loan officer with questions and was given wrong information, making the process incredibly stressful and tainting the whole buying experience. The building manager is very kind and works very hard but the responsiveness of the crew workers when it was time to fix things, they didn’t show up when they said they would. Still 6 weeks after closing, I’m still waiting for a ...

We purchased a home already under construction. The sales person was exceptional. However, the build process was not. We viewed the house about 3 weeks before completion and there were many issues that were not done. We provided a list and then had our build quality meeting about 1 week before close of escrow and virtually none of the items were corrected. After the meeting there was blue tape all over the house and even 1 wall was out of plumb and still remains that way. We were told that 100% of these items would be corrected and a final walk through was scheduled for the morning or our ...

Rushed the closing with lot of items pending at the end of the year. The final walkthrough was almost skipped before closing. Was promised that all the items will be done soon after we move in. It wasn't a pleasant experience at all moving into the house with lot of contractors coming to finish the work while settling in. The contracted plumbing company was the worst of all and the other companies took their time due to whatever reasons. After a month there are still some pending issues.
