Before Purchasing Pulte home i had a great impression about builder but after seeing the construction i lost the impression that Pulte can also build worst way. Not sure what made to bring lower quality to my home. Ceiling fans when chose during design options was not placed and placed with very normal ceiling fan. Every homeowner dream about their home in great way so will chose the builder. Thats OK. I hope Pulte keeps quality for next homeowners.

Construction and field team were great, low ratings were purely the result of sales team member we dealt with.

To many issues for a brand new house

We absolutely love our home but it feels like a façade. The things we marked during the final blue tape inspection were not completed when we moved in. The blue tape was just removed with no repairs. When we had some of the things repaired, the guys repairing them said it was incomplete. The custom shower was installed incorrectly with the water flowing away from the drain, and after a few months it has yet to be repaired. We have multiple work orders in and have documented everything, nonetheless no one seems to ever come repair the major issues. The Garage door is having issues and the chain is loose causing it to snap and bangs loudly, at this point it’s a safety hazard and we have still had nobody come out to fix it. We were told it was a high priority issue because of safety but still no word on the repair. The whole back door jam needs to be replaced and reset. None of the tile grout was sealed on both downstairs floors and bathrooms including the showers. Again, it’s a beautiful home but so much to be repaired it’s exhausting and there is a warranty but it’s taking longer than it should. ... More

The Sales Team where phenomenal LaMonica and Carlton. Exceptional sales agent and represented Pulte very well. They were kind, caring and exceptional. The Building Managers Fred and Brad very good guys and walked us thru as the house was moving along. They were always responsive and made themselves available to us. The nightmare started when it was getting close too closing in the home and the standard that Pulte claimed too have went out the window. On closing day, the house was so dirty that you wouldn't nor even believe it. The price we paid for the house did not match the quality of how it was built. We would know because this is the 3rd we have built in the last few years. We called them out on the crappy work their vendors did and the low quality. They were apologetic and said they would make it right. So for the first 3 weeks of moving into our brand new home, service folks were coming in fixing issues. So instead of enjoying our expensive brand new home, we were waking up to service people fixing things and even with all of that not everything was taken care of. 2 months into moving in and living in the home, it is glaring that the quality of work sucks and was shady. The Area Manager was called in but since then we have not heard from anyone. Not even a "we are sorry note". Not a follow up. I guess this is what corporate greed looks like. You buy a very expensive home during the highest real estate prices in history and companies like PULTE, bid, strong and bad take advantage if you. There were 3 price increases while we waited to sign the contract to build. The developer and builder own the HOA. We wee told the community prohibited investors and rentals, but we have discovered two rental properties by investors. The builder and warranty division are non-responsive. Don't close on your house until the builder performs on all items of your punch list. After you close, you are not a priority to them, and they forget about you. You are no longer a priority after you close so beware.

I’ve noticed a lot of things either already pealing (lining/paint), not fully sealed, or just done sloppy... it’s actually embarrassing to be honest because we haven’t been here long and no matter how well I take care of it and clean, cosmetically, it doesn’t look brand new... on top of that, we’ve had issues with drains not draining appropriately and I can’t help but think there are things inside of them since we had to repeatedly ask to have workers quit leaving food and trash all over the place during building... I’m anxious about the quality with what I’ve observed. We love our home, yes. But minor things, like paint pealing, doors not properly closing or lined up in the frame, sharp edges where carpet meets tile, and things we’ve observed with plumbing... has me uneasy. ... More

It was a rush on closing on our house never had a chance to address all house issues Exhaust vent above microwave still leaks leaving a greasy residue. Disappointed

Terrible workmanship throughout the house. Undone caulking and painting. The garage walls dont match because the field was too lazy or cheap to have the subs redo one side after they cut it about two inches short. Backyard door does not close smoothly. Broken pipes outside my home. Front door and garage door frames were not smoothed out where screws were used to install them. The foundation has rust leaking out the side from exposed rebar. There's a crack as well. Missing two sprinklers that are on my plans but were never installed. I'm very disappointed in the shotty work the field manager was responsible for overseeing. I would not recommend Pulte if this field manager is still building. I've laid out these issues in a previous email and have yet to hear back from Pulte. ... More

I recently had the displeasure of going with Pulte on my new home, and I must say, it was a nightmare from start to finish. The craftsmanship was subpar, with sloppy work evident in every corner. Once I moved in, I am dealing with a laundry list of issues, from crooked walls to leaky faucets. If you're considering building with Pulte, I highly recommend getting a thorough inspection from a third party before finalizing anything. Don't make the mistake I did of trusting their workmanship blindly.

The whole building process started good, but it took Pulte 8 extra months to complete the project resulting me extra 16k out of pocket (interest rate, month to month lease). Our builder Josh, and Stephanie was unresponsive most of the time. They simply did not care. Also, who pays for 450k but get a thermostat that is not even wifi capable?

I am very disappointed that I haven't received any assistance after my first survey was completed. There are many things that were never completed for my home. No one has reached back out to me. The person who is the customer care rep, is non responsive. I definitely don't feel like a valued customer. I'm not satisfied with the discrepancies of my brand new home.

We were excited to enter into contract with Pulte on our new home back in July 2021. The interaction with the sales team through the majority if the process was excellent. Tara was pleasant to work with in terms selecting our floorplan and upgrades. She communicated extremely well with us and we were grateful for her services. On the other hand, our experience with the construction team was poor. We had 4-5 different construction managers along the way thay didn’t provide us with the best communication. We never felt a great connection with any of the construction managers, we actually felt as if we were being passed around without any consideration of our experience. It took over a year to complete our home, after we were told it would only be 9 months. We were very involved with our home project from start to finish, we visited the site 2-3 times a month to witness the progress. While slow at times, we did notify sales/construction of issues we noticed on the quality/workmanship of the home as is progessed. We were reminded various times that all the quality issues on the home would be addressed 1 week prior to closing. We were also assured that ALL the quality issues we highlighted would definitley be resolved before we closed. I was always skeptical as I witnessed the slow progress of the home being built. None the less, I put faith into Pulte to resolve all the quality issues before we closed. With that said, we closed on our new home in August 2022. We were disaappointed that the quality issues were not fully addressed prior to closing, as we were continuosly assured. As of 10/05, as I provide this review, we are living in the house and are still having to put for effort to have Pulte resolve the quality issues in our jew home. It is quite disappointing to have a brand new home, with all new construction and upgrades that we selected along the way, just to witness the lack of quality that Pulte sold us on in the begining as being their top priority with their customers. Since we moved in, my wife and I have not been able to shower in our upgraded spa shower that we paid for. Not one shower! This is extremely frustarting and downright unacceptable. There remain multiple issues with our Spa Shower and Master Bathroom as a whole. Not to mention they other issues throughout the house that have yet to be addressed. The communication is lacking with addressing these issues and confusion seems to be an overwhelming sense amongst your Pulte team members and trades we have been dealing with. I have lost just about all faith and confidence in Pulte to provide us with good communication, a sense or urgency to address our concerns, or to even a quality product! Our experience began with excitement and joy, but has quickly deteriorated, which is unfortunate. Prepare to be "sold" on the model homes they show you. Unfortunately, almost nothing resembles the quality of the model. Poor worksmanship plagues this company leading to constant warranty requests. Items that were listed on the documentation at closing will NEVER get done so be prepared to delay closing. During the building process, their management team is absent, has no idea what is going on, and will not work with the buyer, regardless of the reasonable offers to help with moving the build forward. They will then "force" you to close with many outstanding items because they only care about bonuses/commissions. Your project manager will be great and the only one to help you, but because of their extremely poor management, there's only so much they can do. ... More

My grading of side yard was not done properly and the construction manager has been delaying it since then.It has been many months and nobody is looking into it.I had a very bad experience and I wanted to escalate it.This is not what you expect after paying so much.

The sales team is very good and helpful. However, I am not satisfied with the workmanship and materials used. The service team seems to be on top of the issues and fix them pretty fast.

Too many quality issues with appliances(range, microwave) not working and needed replacement. Lot of painting tapes not cleared and needed to pinpoint.Electrical issues with lighting and plugs.

My experience with my builder here with Pulte was terrific. Matt was my contractor, I give him 5 stars on communication and quality workmanship. He walked me through the whole process of building my home and communicated all along the way. He is friendly and professional. I highly recommend Matt and his team! I felt very confident and cared for during the whole process and even after I moved in. The warranty team is great and all of my minor issues were attended to quickly and efficiently. Thank you Pulte for the great experience!

Most new homebuilders are the same nowadays. The same subs are building 200K and 500K houses. The difference is construction managers and how well they are overseeing the subs. My experience with Pulte wasn't great from the get go. Two days into moving in I experienced major plumbing issues. Pulte did honor the warranty and is taking care of everything but I am now wary of potential issues when warranty expires. Probably wouldn't buy Pulte again.

Rating: 3 Star The home design and build quality met expectations, but our biggest frustration was with the Pulte Mortgage and Title team (2 stars) for poor communication, delays, and lack of experience. These issues caused unnecessary stress and overshadowed the positives. While the house itself is fine, the process was far from smooth. Based on our experience, we would not purchase another Pulte home or recommend them to others.

Plenty of issues with the house with workmanship and quality. I wouldn't be able to recommend Pulte just with the number of issues we've had with them. They did go to lengths to make everything better but that only eases the sting a bit. The house was A COMPLETE MESS the day of closing. Landscaping was not in. Carpet throughout the house had to be replaced a couple weeks after moving in. We had to continually nag the builders to get things fixed that were not right. Then it would be "fixed" and we would have to get things "fixed" again. Second time having a home built and was a nightmare. I honestly would blame most of this on Plute contractors and them rushing to get work done due to the amount of work. But Pulte really needs to either find new contractors or do a better job of inspecting and having them come fix their work vs. having the customer inspect and tell Pulte that the work wasn't done correctly. When all is said an done, I would go back and pick a different builder. If it wasn't for the sales rep Molly and the Construction Manager Daniel, we would have tossed in the towel. ... More

Pulte looks to be a better builder versus some of the other alternatives. There are some things which do not make sense to me, but I think you may find that with most builders (such as light switch placement, gaps in the garage below the garage doors etc.). After a not-so-happy sales, design center and finance experience(being very polite here), I was won over by the building super and the build process overall.
