Had a bad experience with being closed before YE, to benefit Pultes books, but not our first home buying experience. The actual closing and mortgage process with Pulte was great! But moving day, the house was filthy, mismatched matte/gloss spots throughout interior, and the list of things that were to be completed hadn’t even been touched. It’s now been almost 2 months and 3/50 things on the list have been completed, but poorly so they need to be redone (e.g., wrong paint and missed spots again, scratched pocket door during install, etc.). Overall, it was a good time to buy a home which is why i did. Prices were rising and you needed to get in somewhere. Would I go with Pulte in the future? No, i'd try someone else out. I had to stay on top of them during the build process and when i mentioned issues, i was assured it would be taken care of. I wanted to say that everything was great that we bought an amazing home, but its been almost 2 months since we closed and we still have issues that have not been fixed. We bought a spec home and started the process in April. After a couple walk throughs we were supposed to have issues fixed. Many of them are still pending going into July. Took lot of time to construct with bad finishes and does not respond at all

Booked home on 11/21/2021. Initially promised build time was 12-15 months. But they took their own time of 20 months to construct and finally gave a closing date of 6/28/2023. The delay itself is a problem but I can understand it. But the house is not in a closing condition on 6/28/2023. I closed the home as my rate lock is expiring and by that time frankly frustrated with the builder and their responsiveness. We closed on our home in early April. We have a long list of blue tape repairs that were not done before closing and are yet to be done. A supervisor has been by and reviewed our problems and has told us that the problems will be addressed. We trust that will happen soon

When my wife and I decided to build a new home, we had lots of excitement and anticipation. Pulte made mention early on of celebration walk just before closing. While the price was budget-friendly and the community seemed promising, there were several design flaws in the house. We were told our house would have a door from the garage to the back door. It does not. When we asked they stated it was mark off of the plans we signed. Yes marked off AFTER we signed them. They have yet to really attempt to fix this. The workmanship in the house is lacking. There are foot prints in my driveway and metel rhubarb is showing through. They laid my drive way very inefficiently. We cant even get into the third car garage without driving over the sprinker that they set right at that corner. The other houses on the block have a much different angle for their drive way.

Jimmy is the most unprofessional person I have ever met as well as lazy and incompetent. Biggest mistake I ever made, was buying from Pulte. Workmanship is terrible. Warranty issues brought to attention months ago still have not been addressed. If you are buying from Pulte, be sure to get a 3rd party inspection prior to close, and refuse to close until every deficiency is addressed.

It was a nightmare with Pulte. They never gave clear timelines. Huge mismanagement. No proper planning. Delays on everything. Now seeing at other friends houses from a different builder I see how bad Pulte’s work is.
