Overall, my experience with my recent house purchase from Pulte Constructions was mixed. While the price was budget-friendly and the community seemed promising, there were several design flaws in the house. Specifically, the backyard was not properly graded, resulting in water buildup during rain. Additionally, there was a linen closet space included in the design without plans to actually build one. Additionally, we had an issue with our house's main drain line being clogged, that was identified in the first week of moving. However, the warranty team and construction manager were able to ...

More issues since closing

We were told our house would have a door from the garage to the back door. It does not. When we asked they stated it was mark off of the plans we signed. Yes marked off AFTER we signed them. They have yet to really attempt to fix this. The workmanship in the house is lacking. There are foot prints in my driveway and metel rhubarb is showing through. They laid my drive way very inefficiently. We cant even get into the third car garage without driving over the sprinker that they set right at that corner. The other houses on the block have a much different angle for their drive way.

Very unprofessional workmanship. Not Pulte Standards. Useless in Paying premium price. Below points justifies my rating: 1) Very bad finish on the Kitchen backsplash. How will CM says that sometimes construction will end up with gaps and that is out of their hands. Then what is the use of having CM for a house. Any one from office can give directions to contractors and accept what they deliver. 2) Waste water pipe lines are blocked and no one care to check them before close. My house after closing flooded with water twice and made wood flooring wet in master bed room. First time it is ...

Jimmy is the most unprofessional person I have ever met as well as lazy and incompetent. I have multiple emails noting issues with the house through out this build that would have completely been missed had we not discovered it and made him aware. Multiple times the things I pointed out were ignored unless I stayed on top of him to get it addressed. For the first two months of our build we had zero build updates from him and he blamed a coworker for not adding us to his email list. When we did start getting updates it was apparent he never went by our house and relied on what he read on their ...

Biggest mistake I ever made, was buying from Pulte. Workmanship is terrible. Warranty issues brought to attention months ago still have not been addressed. If you are buying from Pulte, be sure to get a 3rd party inspection prior to close, and refuse to close until every deficiency is addressed.

We bought our house about 2 months ago and had excellent experience from the sales person there. However we experienced major issues with the builder and construction team. We closed on a house that still had items that were unfinished and were promised that they would be taken care off the day that we would close. Not only those items were NOT done as promised, but it took us 2 month of calling and emailing the construction team daily/ weekly without any response. The whole situation was very frustrating as we had were getting no response from Pulte construction management. We had to put our ...

Stephanie was our salesperson and her handling of our project left us deeply disappointed and feeling undervalued. She harped on the fact that we would be receiving timely and consistent weekly updates. She even stated that we could choose to be updated via phone call or email. We communicated with her that we would prefer to be updated via email as I was traveling extensively for work and I wanted to ensure that my wife received the same updates so she's in the know and didn't feel like she couldn't make an educated decision without me. Unfortunately, Stephanie was given the incorrect email ...

Major grade/drainage issues: Well, where to start this experience. •The day before closing and after a rain storm, our upper neighbor which did not have sod or grading, had erosion sweep into our yard and the builder had to frantically remove the erosion from our yard, place erosion barriers up and put new sod for us to close the next day. Unfortunately, they did not remove all the erosion, and this affected our grading away from our house. This was the first red flag. • Intermittently, I noticed that water would pool by our outdoor AC unit on our right yard from the builder saturating ...

This is the second home from Pulte we purchased because of the quality work based on the first one. Unfortunately, the quality of the workmanship and materials on this new house is so poor, we just can’t even compare to the first one or even some fixer uppers. Doors and door frames are refurbished with new paints over them but still can be seen visibility on the outside with dents and uneven surface. Most windows don’t seem new with serious scratches on the handle bars. Shower tub also with serious scratches. People not cleaning after themselves, which left paints in the kitchen sink and ...

Not sure where to begin, because there is so much to say. First, Pulte does a great job of having decent sales representatives and after that it is a steep decline in all other aspects of the home build. The design consultants are horrible, lazy, rude, and pretty much incapable of doing the basic aspects of their job. We never asked for their design opinion and I'm glad we didn't, because I could only imagine how bad our home would have turned out (probably even more in cost than we already paid as well). All of this is just the beginning of your issues to come. Pulte doesn't really do ...

Right from the beginning, it was so tough to get any update from the construction manager. Target closing date Aug 2021 got delayed for 1 year. Finally closed in Aug 2022. Final walkthrough was a nightmare. They missed to put the window in one bedroom and got caught during inspection. They keep telling about staff shortage but it dint seem true since they are building scores of other houses in the same community. Construction manager didn’t bother to inform us of the status.
