Sales: Taylor in our community was great. He was eager and great to work with. He did a great job of explaining everything to us, the process and all that jazz. He also steered us in the way of things he would personally recommend rather than what was the most expensive. He was always responsive and helpful to get us the attention we need. Design: overwhelming! Pulte actually did a great job and emailed us over the PDFs so we had an idea of the features we wanted to see and look at. This was a huge help with light fixtures, sinks, faucets, etc. Hurry up and wait (framing): our framing 'manager' Jackson left a little to be desired on updates. Communication was lacking and he would skip weekly calls for outside events without mentioning it to us such as weddings, vacations, etc. We weren't there for too long, but it started the building process off on a negative foot. post framing: Greg started off better and tapered off after closing. We were refused a closing date for several months (making life hard for a family with children), so we couldn't schedule movers, furniture, getting out of the apartment we lived in while our house was being built, etc. This frustration mounted towards the end when we had to pick new items such as counters we had selected 9 months before that were now 'out of stock'. We came down to the wire and constantly were asked to move our closing date (after we finally did get a day about 30 days out) and we ended up closing on a house that is still not complete. There is a lack of control and organization in their current build process Closing and financing: I WOULD recommend using Pulte as the finance company for the mortgage as well. You can shop rates and they will match typically, but if your house is moved back for any reason, they will not cancel your contract. However, their closing process is not the best. We did a lot of paperwork ahead of time to shorten the process and were informed we would get more via docusign, but it never came. We also waited 25 minutes (for a 30 minute closing) to even get started in their office as well as had them switch our consultant to someone we didn't know rather than the person we had worked with for several months. We are still waiting on some closing documents such as the final appraisal that were were told we would get, but haven't. they did not do much to explain the process and we had to go back for keys as they give you a small card that you take to the office of the community. Overall, the rate and savings made it bearable. Post close and moving in: We still had open items upon closing (something pulte touts as 'not a thing' - they say two things: home is 100% complete at close, and once you get a closing date, they get it all done... they did not. We got mirrors the day we closed with keys in hands, had drying paint and the house was absolutely filthy (dust on blinds, floors, walls, etc. and the house just wasn't' cleaned at all, sadly). Following that, we are two months in and still have open items. Our sales guy won't take our calls, our project manager won't respond to us and the manager or our PM has pushed us off to the client care team (who is great thus far, Anthony is actually getting it done). But we have items from filling in gaps in the garage concrete floor to fixing our floors that are not floated well or secured down to dry wall fixes that pictures were taken several months ago. We have also had 2 full water leaks thus far in the house as well as electrical issues and AVAC issues where the house wasn't balanced. Overall: it's a nice house with a sturdy framing and nice features. But the overall process to get everything up and running is a process within itself and the fight to get left over items closed is a battle. Do not sign the check until it's complete, if you can afford to do so (if you have a place to live). ... More

This house took 7 months longer to build than anticipated. Sloppy, dirty, incomplete work. Horrible attention to detail. I closed 2 months ago and there are still broken cabinets that need to be fixed and the microwave/oven combo is still MIA with no ETA. You have to beg for updates. Everything that I pointed out and placed blue tape on during the walk thru, either didn’t get done or I was told by Jose that nothing could be done about it. The things he promised to get fixed, never got fixed and they just went around and removed the blue tape but never fixed the items. I am a single mom who works full-time and I worked very hard for this house. I absolutely feel as though they are taking advantage of me by giving me a sloppy, incomplete house and just sitting on it knowing I don’t have time to hound them everyday for what should have been done in the first place. I am still scraping paint and grout off of tiles, handles, carpets, walls and fixtures that it doesn’t belong on. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. This is the 3rd house I have built, the most expensive and the worst quality. I would not recommend Pulte to anybody. ... More

Make sure you get everything completed before you close. Once you sign off, all the promises to get punch list items correct fly out of the window. I am now on month 2 and its like pulling teeth to get a response from anyone. When I do get a response, more promises that are not fullfilled.

It’s a tough time to be building anything, but all in all we had a good experience with Pulte so far. Our construction manager has been the biggest part of our positive experience. Being honest and guiding us through our build really helped what could have been a very trying experience due to delays, to a positive one.

After few months in the house I event enjoy it more everyday ! I can feel the house is good structure and ofcourse it worth for money . If we compare to another builder with Pulte is more reasonable . Pulte values the material for their customers like doors ,windows , trims ... I event like there service , we love Tim ( my builder ) before I had problem with the faucet droppedown at kitchen sink and just a quick call in minutes he appeared he always smiles eventhough with problem that to make sure the customers are happy ! Thank you Pulte and especially again my builder Tim

Pulte helped make it right!

We were okay with the process until the long brick delay. We got told the same thing every time, the brick is delayed. We are pushing back close a week, finally when I spoke up that I was displeased it seemed to light a fire under them and a couple weeks later we got some progress. Also, when we did our final walk through we had several things that were not corrected and several items new that we found. We were basically told if this list keeps going we wouldn't close.

Builder Rafael was great and very responsive. He heed to our every complain or issue during construction process

The whole process was great!

Nowadays, purchasing a new house with all the craziness going on in the world is a major challenge. Only the experienced builders are figuring out! Pulte is definitely one of those builders. Customer service, open communication, honest feedback and immediate follow through are the reasons that Pulte made our purchasing of our new home such a nice experience.

Process is what we expected. We had no delays with materials except for a temp microwave and oven until the one we paid for was received.

Overall, smooth process given the supply issues. Field manager and sales reps were all great. Pulte Mortgage was a bit frustrating but still got us in our home on time

Building process took long, but understandable due to the current climate.

I am very happy with my new pulte home.

This process was a total Nightmare many sleepless nights shedding of tears very stressful. As a 1st time home buyer this was suppose to be an exciting experience mine was the total opposite. I totally understood that a Pandemic was/is going on and materials was hard to get and slow to get but the ideal of taking the few options that I had away. I mean the price you're paying for the home you would think you as a buyer can have a little more say so. I have so many issues I have encountered with this home buying process it's not even funny. I was so close to backing out at the last minute. I chose brick color for my home unfortunately they weren't able to get them so I get a text with a picture of some red bricks they told me they were using nothing close to the color I originally picked out. What a bummer that was. I didn't get no option on another choice it was take it or nothing until I put up a fuss about it. Those bricks they picked out looked to be obsolete why would I wanna drive up to a home with those color bricks like really. Then I paid for an upgrade to stainless appliances to find out the put stainless steel silver microwave and dishwasher but the range was black stainless steel which didn't sit right with me. I asked the building manager about it she informed me that the model number on ny contract , the range & the website was all the same after doing my own research it was not correct then wen it was brought to her attention I was informed by her that it wasn't available for them to purchase. I asked her if they wouldn't have found me the correct range to match the dishwasher and microwave was they able to change it out to where all three appliances match I was informed no. I had to keep that. The fact that they just put it in was unacceptable again another option was taken away you get that are nothing. Then I did a walk thru about 2wks b4 closing and some issuse was pointed out that needed to be fixed. Then another walk a week b4 closing the list was even longer than b4. As the building manager if you have people/ contractors working for you and what they do reflects you the right thing to do is making sure you're staying on them to make sure things are getting done and done correctly and professionally. These people just had everything a mess paint left on things it was a lot of little stuff they could've done better. Then everything that was not corrected it was blamed on the Pandemic like what do the Pandemic had to do with getting the place cleaned up ready to move in. I could go on and on about this whole stressful experience but I'm just gonna stop here cause as I sit and type this just getting me mad and upset about all I went thru with this process. Just know I was not happy with it at all it was a total nightmare and it has left me with a whole lot of bad vibes from all I had to endure. ... More

I wouldn't buy another pulte home.

Overall experience is great. Pulte did a great job! Some of the follow up repairs from Pulte vendors is not up to the mark. Multiple followup needed and I am not impressed with their response.

We had a great experience with Pulte so far. The best part of the process has been the communication - our builder called us once a week to update us on the process and was readily available to answer questions and concerns. One of my friends is building with another company and she has an "allowance" of email communication, after which point she is charged per email. In any case, we have enjoyed our home and everything involved in it. Thank you.
