Nice unique homes with smart features

Our home building experience was exceptional! All Pulte personnel was extremely helpful and professional. I believe that they genuinely care about their customers.

Pulte home and Builder are not good at all. Do not go with Pulte home.

Pulte has a good process but like every home building project you must be involved to make sure things are done right

It was my first buying experience and things seemed great. I didn't know any better. First I would say that the choices for selections was limited and anything outside of the dull plain choices was very expensive. I am a colorful person and the wall choices for paint was 3 or 4 versions of the same color. If I wanted something else it was ridiculously expensive. $950 for under cabinet lighting is absurd. While going through the building process or project manager kept saying after closing if you have any issues let me know and they will be taken care of. After closing he doesn't respond to texts. I had a dented vent hood. Supposedly it was ordered but that was over a month ago and no communication. There were other issues/questions and still no response. While it was nice there was landscaping done it was nothing that I would have chosen. A choice of A or B on plants would be nice. I had to give away all of it. What a waste of time and money. ... Meeting with Pulte was always a good expererience. In my experience as a customer service agent, setting proper expectation and responding to even the simplest of questions with eagerness is the best way to stand out. Bill and Nicholas were always giving good information about more than just the quality of work but also how to care for this asset going forward. I talked with them early and late. They always responded promptly.

We have a lot of warranty issues but they get taken care of

Had a amazing team to work with... from sales to construction managers to mortgage processors. My answers and concerns were addressed in a timely manner.

Daily I have to pick up trash left by construction that they toss water bottles and food items, that should be picked up

We bought a Pulte home in Gramercy Park. Due to market conditions we did this via a virtual walkthrough with our realtor. There are many pro's & cons to the house & the builder. We did not make selections for the house during construction. I am attempting to be fair. This is written 8 weeks after occupying the house. If possible, I will update this review later on. PRO: Overall design is good in terms of layout, windows, space utilization, curb appeal of the building, and lot layout. Value for the area is in line with comps. General construction is acceptable & in line with expectations. House has a watering/sprinkler system for the landscape and also (we are told) to assist with Texas issues regarding settling due to dry ground. We used Pulte Finance & Insurance. Both were exceptionally helpful and responsive to our timeline needs. CON: Some fit and finish is subpar, and appears resistant to correction. Cabinetry is very basic quality. There were issues with cabinet installation, color consistency, finish (nails/caulk). Second floor has squeaks will require correction. Garage concrete pad sloped incorrectly, has an 3-foot area near a corner where water from vehicles pools & sits, does not run off to outside. House was labeled "smart home ready", but this only meant cat-6 wiring was run to a central box. Box is small for necessary equipment. HVAC Zoning for house is only upstairs/downstairs. More zones appear needed due to solar changes through the day. Design includes a large window over stairway (a good feature) which recently acquired a full-length crack, we suspect the window is not installed to accommodate house settling and expansion due to weather changes. DESIGN DEFECT: Optional 2nd floor master bathroom with master walk-in-closet was included in this house. This was a major feature we felt contributed to the price of the home. The design places the closet as a full bump-out on the second floor, creating 4 exterior sides (3 walls, floor) and the common wall with the master bathroom. This closet is insufficiently temperature controlled and is up to 20F different than the house, even after adjusting HVAC supply to area. With house set & acceptably maintaining 68F, exterior temp 28F, closet was 50F. This also chilled the bathroom by appx 10F. Cold is conducted into master bathroom which causes expansion/contraction of ceramic floor tile. Tiles are already popping/loose, we are wondering how this will be fixed permanently given that the cause of this is the heating/cooling difference over time & from other house materials. Neighbors with same house feature have reported the same problem. This was winter, we are wondering what will happen with heat in Texas summer. If you choose this option, I suggest you ensure the builder indicates how it will be prevented. ... More

Bill the construction Manager is amazing. He made me feel so confident in the pulte Brand. After this whole process I consider Bill to be a trusted family friend. Alejandro was great. He answered all my questions. Informed me of what would be the best options. He always gave great advice. Pulte should be honored to have such great people working in this company.

Not quite sure why I never built a new home before?? The process was straightforward and very affordable! We have been in our home for a little over a month with only one concern about the final check process. We love our home- the floorplan is perfect for us and 2700 sf really feels bigger than our previous 3200 sf home. We are happy with Pulte and hope to never have to build again, but when we do, we'll be checking in with Pulte!

The home was one of the best builded home I’ve seen. Pulty builds high quality homes. They do not cut corner.

We had a very good experience building our home with Pulte. Our builder was David and he kept us informed and updated weekly about the progress being made on our house. The time it took to build our house was just what they told us from the beginning and they were on time and delivered it to us just as promised with attention to all the details and very excellent workmanship. David explained everything to us about things we needed to know when we were going to move into our new home after we closed. Closing was also a breeze. We're quite happy with Pulte.

Compared to other builders around the area Pulte homes have outstanding quality on materials and the way the house is built you can see the quality since they are laying down the foundation

Over all things are great but after living in our house for a few months I’m noticing a lot of minor issues.

Pulte has provided the best in building, I've ever seen. Quality is what I ask for, and quality is what we got from begging.

They are honest and clear and does not gives surprises at the time of closing. Highly recommend
