Pulte Homes - They are building so fast they don't have time for any issues

They are building so fast they don't have time for any issues that come up. We waited a month for an electrical issue to be fixed, never have received touch up paint, yard wasn't inspected after freeze during winter for plants/grass that died. Paid top dollar for a house that is mediocre at best.

Community- Friendly neighbors, Amenities- did not get a chance to check so far. Commute- Poor. Add extra 10-15 minutes each way during rush hour to navigate to community from HWY 380. It is worse on weekends. Timely completion- VERY POOR. Took 11 months to complete( Not 100% complete) to close. Promised to complete in six months by sales people when signing. Sales Experience: Do your home work before picking the options, the day you sign you have to select Structural options. Stick to your budget, don't get carried away by looking at the model homes. Backyard lawn uneven

I raised a ticket with customer service for uneven surface in by backyard and the drain holes are too deep inside. Warranty manger came here to inspect but didn't took any action on my backyard, I raised the ticket even before the warranty period. After few days I raised the ticket to fix the backyard and Ron stopped by and had as look and we came to an agreement that my lawn need to be fixed but later on he said that he is not going fix it because my 30 day warranty is completed but I raised the ticket with in 30 days. Purchasing a home with has been terrible and nightmare experience. Don’t fall into the trap what was promised was not given .there are so many best builders out there go with them . Completely disheartened.

Do not expect same as they treat you in the beginning. They will treat you great and make you feel like the entire home buying process will be fast and easy in the beginning but that is wrong . They will guide you to get mortgage from their own company with more benefits and easier process which is not correct . Pulte mortgage is even more worst . I will recommend to use outside mortgage . Build quality not upto the mark.

Facing issues on many areas. First of all the build quality is very poor and finishing is not good at all. I will explain this in detail. The issues which I have stated at walk through wasn't cleared when they handed over the keys. The main front door was tight and they replaced it but I had to wait more than a week to get that fixed. Still I'm having issues with the door. Also the storage door at downstairs and the sliding door of closet got broken after first use. i went to level 4 cabinets because they mentioned they cabinets dont have seperation but handed me 3 cabinets with seperation and no one is responding to get the issue resolved..

Unfortunately, I ignored the bad reviews I saw and I regret that now. From the sales process, to the building/construction process, to now my experience post-closing has been terrible. Given how much I paid for this home, the quality is not there and they know it and just don't care. When you point things out, they minimize them and act like it's completely normal to move into a brand new house with defects - or just ignore you. Even after upgrading most things, the materials are so cheap (quality not price). Getting them to fix the issues is a whole different story. They are not responsive ...

PULTE dropped the ball and almost every single part of the process of us buying our house from the first conversation to the 30 day inspection after we moved in. Sales people didn’t communicate deadlines and we were left without structural options we said we wanted. Mortgage company is arguably the worst customer service I’ve ever had ANYWHERE in my entire life. They consistently lost our documents and made us resubmit them, changed things at the last second without communicating to us, and dragged a 1 month process out for 9 months. This house took 7 months longer to build than anticipated. Sloppy, dirty, incomplete work. Horrible attention to detail. I closed 2 months ago and there are still broken cabinets that need to be fixed and the microwave/oven combo is still MIA with no ETA. You have to beg for updates. Everything that I pointed out and placed blue tape on during the walk thru, either didn’t get done or I was told by Jose that nothing could be done about it. No one is held accountable. One of the workers was smoke pot. Grant makes excuses and just tells me to cover up the faulty work. Things were not built to standard. You will be hearing from the VA construction building office within a week
