My experience has not been positive. The workers left behind lots of messes. They left black fingerprints everywhere. The plumbing was severely blocked. My toilets backed up into the tub, sink, etc. The plumbing had to be worked on twice. The tree in the front had to be replaced more than once. The garage paint is peeling since I moved in. The carpet has paint drops left by the workers in every room. The nails were sticking up and had to be fixed. There's paint on the frosted window in the bathroom and I have been asked to clean it myself! The bathroom floors and shower have silicone dripped on them that trap dirt and leave spots on the floor. The paint touchups do not blend in with the original paint. The kitchen panel was not placed correctly and had a broken bracket that was exposed when I moved in. The dishwasher outlet did not have power going to it. The electrician had to come and fix it after weeks of not being able to use the dishwasher. The representatives have tried to help correct these things. However, Pulte should not close on a house if it has not been thoroughly reviewed. We love our House, everything is great quality and great customer service. Even when we brought a third party inspector he mentioned that Pulte did a great job in our house. Since day one the people involved in all the construction process were great, they communicate well and were really responsive and kind. Also the customer services goes above expectations. We had an incident cause by Spectrum and the builder was helping us all the way even though we had already closed. Their customer care program is also great! they take care of any unforeseen items that may come up after closing, it really brings us peace of mind. I think the house price is worth every dollar. We were building our first home with Pulte. Some of the experiences we encountered during the construction phase was below par. For example, they replaced the appliances to which we paid extra for with a standard ones. A huge let down was the replacement of the brick (I was told that they searched high and low and came with only ONE) I repeat "ONLY ONE" substitution was given as a choice (despite pulte being such a "big" builder). Buying a new build with Pulte was a mixed experience. Their communication process with us was okay but there are alot of problems that we’ve experienced since moving into the house that was supposed to be fixed before close. They took it down to the last minute and assured us that everything that needed to be fixed would still be fixed after closing and that hasn’t happened. We had a 30 day check in and everything that we pointed out during the check in still hasn’t been fixed. At this point we feel like we’ve been strung along in regards to the existing house problems that were present during the close. The sales agents we dealt with were great to work with. Our second project manager was significantly better than the first one. We’re just very disappointed that none of the issues that we pointed out during the 30 day and even before close were addressed and we keep hearing the same answer of “oh I’ll reach out to the crews and get back to you”. ... Unfortunately, I ignored the bad reviews I saw and I regret that now. From the sales process, to the building/construction process, to now my experience post-closing has been terrible. Given how much I paid for this home, the quality is not there and they know it and just don't care. When you point things out, they minimize them and act like it's completely normal to move into a brand new house with defects - or just ignore you. Even after upgrading most things, the materials are so cheap (quality not price). Getting them to fix the issues is a whole different story. They are not responsive and you are left to follow up with trades on your own. Even after they tell you they will do something or call you, they just don't. I seriously considered just selling the home immediately because I'm so unhappy with the quality and substitutions they made (without my approval). Every day, I find something new that was constructed poorly. Other builders may have similar issues, but at least their customer service is better. They care and will at least fix the issues once identified. Read the reviews from different sources and know they are telling the truth. I wish I had given more weight to them. ... More

From start to finish, the home buying process with Pulte was smooth, easy and enjoyable. Ramsey in the sales office was kind, personable, helpful and professional. She remembered our family every interaction we had and it made us feel like we mattered to her. Our build team, Josh and Ali, were responsive, patient with questions with had, informative and communicative. The home buying process was smooth and we enjoyed it every step of the way. We are so glad we chose a Pulte home!

We are absolutely loving our new home. We are so thankful we had such a great salesperson as Richard and such a fantastic builder as Lincoln. We are extremely happy that we chose Pulte to build our home.

The Pulte experience was great!

Communication was huge for me. PulteMortgage kept me well informed of progress of my home being built. The builders were amazing.

After paying 500k for my home. I feel the home is not that great quality especially the doors they are so poor in quality.

Pulte is a great builder the construction manager Lincoln was amazing, he always responded to calls even when the calls where though, he was truthful and on he’s job and mad sure things where getting done.

Overall good process but elongated by Covid delays in materials. Home build is mostly fine but we are finding some sub par workmanship in areas and obviously things done quickly and not to highest quality. I personally had to chase things up myself and noticed things not done which the construction manager didn’t notice. A number of cosmetic issues after close which took quite some time to fix. Nice team and friendly but overall some poor finishing details.

The Engineer construction named Grant ,he is the best .He always did what he promised.He worked hard from the beginning to the end ,house finished on time.The sale man Mike,he is friendly,happy answered all our questions.Great team ! Good work !

Colton our construction manager was a pleasure to work with and he was always prompt when we have questions for him. Chad was also very helpful during the buying phase and would I recommend anyone to Pulte.

Great build quality and construction manager was superior in providing the updates. After closing dissatisfied with the Pulte customer service for the repairs that incurred within 2 weeks of closing.

PULTE dropped the ball and almost every single part of the process of us buying our house from the first conversation to the 30 day inspection after we moved in. Sales people didn’t communicate deadlines and we were left without structural options we said we wanted. Mortgage company is arguably the worst customer service I’ve ever had ANYWHERE in my entire life. They consistently lost our documents and made us resubmit them, changed things at the last second without communicating to us, and dragged a 1 month process out for 9 months. Craftsmanship was subpar also. Cabinets hung crooked, electrical outlets not straight, holes in the drywall, cracks in the baseboards, unpainted baseboards, broken window. All these things should have been discovered by our construction manager when he did a walkthrough and fixed when we did our walkthrough before moving in but only 2 of the 10 issues we outlined in our walkthrough were actually corrected. PULTE consistently blamed the pandemic and the laborers they hired and never took responsibility for their poor work in every single step of this process. Process was a bit frustrating. The people were nice but frustrations were more so due to promised timeframes being extended due lack of materials causing prices and interest rates to go up. Some quality issues after moving in such as 2nd story floor bouncing when walking on it, not all of the touch ups were completed when asked, light bulbs going out 1 month after move in.
