No builder is going to give you a "perfect" experience. Pulte did a good job, but plenty of room for improvement. Construction-wise there are a LOT of small touches missed that collectively take away. Many of these things wouldn't really even cost anything except a few extra minutes of care (something that used to be called pride of workmanship which sadly is a lost art in our society). I will say that compared to DR Horton homes nearby, Pulte is head & shoulders above. Quite honestly, just that little bit extra customer service and care in the construction process would have been 5 ...

very bad at doing follow up repairs you have to stay like honey to a bee to get pulte to get things fixed, its very time consuming and frustrating to get them on top of things

Our homebuying/building experience has been rough, but the more I deal with Pulte the more I can see that it all depends on who you get. We have seen some Pulte representatives be absolutely amazing, while others make you hate life entirely. My only advice if you are moving forward with building a home with Pulte, is to meet all the people that will be involved with your build. If a single one of them don't seem like they are going to be amazing, then run as fast you can! No one that we have meet at Pulte has just been "ok" at there job. Sales was horrible after signing contract meaningless threats about rewriting the contract. Warranty department is non responsive and sent a Warranty call for another home to ours been a month and the issue they caused is still not fixed.

My experience with most of the people from Pulte, like Skyler, Chris, and Ivan, was very pleasant. They were all very helpful through the process and were quick to respond to any concerns I had. However, one major issue that arose that has not yet been taken care of is the landscaping was very poor. The grass was laid over rocks, concrete, bottles, etc. and therefore has not grown well, or at all in many parts. I have never seen grass being laid over all of that, how can it grow? I raised my concerns about this issue, and the landscaping company sent one of their representatives named Jason ...

There were so many issues after we moved in. We still have some and most importantly our upstairs usually get warmer as compare to our ground floor. Cannot figure out what going on with heater issue though they say it’s fine.Not expected so many issues will be facing after moving to a brand new home. Also we are not satisfied with the quality of materials used ( especially bathroom ) and workmanship ( exterior and interior issues).

Low quality, shoddy work in some areas, poor customer service, misinformation, rushed design center appointment that missed significant details, excuses rather than fixes. Very disappointing, should have gone with DRHorton across the street.

Go elsewhere. They’ll show an excellent finished product and fall short at execution. If I hadn’t walked the house each week there would have been additional structural issues that would not have been addressed until closing which at that point they’ll promise you anything to have you close. Our closing was delayed due to lack of HVAC oversight leading to water seeping between the first and second floor through walls. This was my first time building a home and what should have been a happy and exciting experience turned into a complete nightmare shortly after I started. My loan officer Tyler, was the most unprofessional, rude and condescending person I had ever worked with. However at the same time my loan processor Erin was amazing! I wouldn’t recommend Pulte to my worst enemy. The seller I worked with kept on forgetting things to busy trying to rush the deal. I brought 2 others when with me when I selected the home and upgrades. I requested irrigation systems to be installed. The seller failed to include that. I found out 2 weeks before I close and they did not approve the add on later. The builder manager told him it can be installed. Now I am shopping around for an irrigation system. Most home builders in TX already include irrigation without being requested. On top of that my grass is dying since it wasn’t being ...

Pulte was the worst experience ever from the time we started to the time we closed. The communication throughout the entire process was horrible. The only ones who were great was the design center. Our person who was in charge of the house during the process of it being built was Jackson. He failed many times at communicating things to us, fixing issues we had and staying on top of the workers. A couple of times when we came by during the build the workers had their children while bricking our house and then the end result of the brick on our house is now being fixed after being fixed 3 times ...

Everything was a lie the price on the value of the home is off $262,000 you made extra in profit the work and ship was poor had nothing but problem since I moved in over 34 of them and they’re still not solved
