This is not my first homebuilding experience, but it is my best one. My salesperson Paul worked with me around the sale of my current home and when I had to change the close date on my Pulte home more than once. My GC, Brian, was phenomenal in getting everything fixed that I noted on our walk-throughs. He was also very thorough in explaining the construction of the home. Pulte Mortgage has also been super helpful. At each stage in the process, I felt heard, taken care of, and not stressed. Highly recommend.

Mr Michael was awesome and a man of integrity, I LOVE my quality built home. Mr Steve is an angel, I felt valued, I felt like every need was attended to and every question answered. Mr Steve was honest and fair and no pushy, very knowledgeable about Pulte and the homes. Mr Steve was a true delight to work with, I am honestly extremely thankful to have purchased my home with Pulte Mortgage. Mr Kelly in the office answered all of my questions, she was very relatable and professional, I felt safe with her and trusted her to work on my paperwork. I still have issues that I've submitted on through the portal that have been un resolved. I have a lose spindle on my stairs, the a/c still runs hot in certain rooms even after having someone come out.

AC units for the home are entirely too small. My house won’t cool past 78 on a 100 degree day. People who work for pulte say the units only rated to cool 18-20 degrees below outside temp. Let me know how comfortable you would be in a 80 degree home in Texas. The contract company they use for HVAC is just spinning their wheels patching and plugging the system without recognizing and replacing/remodeling the entire system. Please tell me how a 2.5 ton unit is expected to cool a 2500 sq ft house. A multi million dollar builder cannot even provide the homes they build with adequate HVAC systems so they can penny pinch those profit margins and that bottom line just a little bit more. Pulte isn’t even involved in the process anymore for our HVAC requests because they’re so slow in getting someone out to our house to fix the issues, we’ve just bypassed them entirely. We have to have 3 window units inside of our $425,000 house because pulte cannot install adequate AC units to cool a house. Just imagine if you had two little infants who need cool areas to sleep, and the Pulte rep tells you your house won’t cool past 75 in the summer. Please tell me how that’s okay and/or acceptable. We’ve had issues with drawers being broke, doors not installed correctly, and our master bathtub being cracked. The service team and warranty department are not responsive to emails, and when they are it’s a minimum one week wait time to fix whatever issues you have. Overall our experience has been bad. We have to live in a cave with all of our blinds closed and black out curtains over them because the minute we open the big, beautiful windows to allow natural light in the house, it’s 80 degrees in the house. I have been extremely satisfied with pulte homes. Trent my sales agent was very professional and knowledgeable. From the first day I should up at the property he was friendly and had an answer to all my questions. If there was one thing I didn’t like was the building representative. But overall highly satisfied. The warranty handled by Kenny has been great service handling all my problems. I would definitely recommend Pulte homes!

The sales rep, mortgage lender were all very nice. The problems came after. The contractor did not fix everything he said he would. He then ghosted us. We had to file warranty claims and of course they couldn’t all come at the same time so I had to take multiple days off from work and one time a worker stepped through our ceiling causing another thing that needed to be fixed. I finally just gave up. The counter tops chipped (in like three different spots) in the first two months. We were told the counter tops were very durable but obviously not. Tried filling a warranty claim and was denied. Apparently everyone needs a water filtration system in the home, that would have been nice to know how bad the water is. Hello my experience buying was pretty good, what comes after is the issue. A lot of little issues in workmanship come up after buying a new home. A few small issues present themselves and all has to go through the Pulte ticket system. They are quick to answer but it seems that almost every week I notice something new not done to its best ability. I will still recommend them as they have handle the issue I have pit in a ticket for. But the truth is that I would have love to just move in and have no worries. Sales team is great, william the project manager was awesome, our project manager now is very nice as she is on top of the problems presented. Lauren at the design center was amazing, it is just the people used in the construction side that I feel do not let them get that perfect score. Love my home but issues still exist 2 months after closing

Great experience building with Pulte. Communication was excellent every step of the way and any minor issues have been handled quickly by the warranty team.

Not 100% clarity throughout but overall did not seem bad overall. Disappointed how many things were needed on the blue tape walk. Some repairs had to be done more than once. The thin layer of paint on the walls causes them to mark easily. Some finishing touch not applied. There is an essence of cheapness about the finish. Finding lots of little things post purchase that just spoiled the experience of buying a new home.

The home buying process was great and easy. However, when we closed and moved, we found many issues with the water and drainage system. Workmanship in general was subpar as well.

Experience was great. However, after moving in the house began having issues that were easy to resolve. Alot of cracking in the walls began and the house was 1 month old. The garage had alot of imperfections such as just tears from were they cut, as if it the workers didn't care. The bathroom door everytime we shower it leaks out since the seal was place all across instead it was just halfway. Only thing I recommend buyers is to take your time during the walkthrough. Don't feel rushed because they are trying to just get it out of the way asap.

The buying process went very well. Shout to Reem our sales consultant and Caroline with from the mortgage company. It was a pleasure working with both ladies. Construction and warranty has not been a good experience. Pending items from final walk was not completed and warranty items submitted over a month are not completed but interior and exterior. I would not recommend purchasing a Pulte home based on quality and workmanship from construction.

Pulte was very easy to work with during the buying process.

We had a realto/ agent assist us in our homebuying process. We were encouraged with the model chosen on their inventory so as we were informed, nothing can be changed as they were all pre-chosen. Initially, we went for a cash purchase thinking the completion of build coincides with the sale of our home. We constantly coordinated with Build Manager and sales as there were instances the items per contract were changed like the tiles as we were told it was discontinued. We just feel that since we sought to have little assistance for balance on Mortgage with builder, the utmost attention to detail on the quality of the Home was compromised. We were just given a bit of courtesy to fix some tile damage, damage on wall, through service requests .We were assigned Centex crew to assist with our needs. They have not even fixed the slab unevenly plotted from the framing of garage, and the plaster in the front of the house looks tacky. We were promised that we will be given a white Sherwin William paint but nothing was sent.Their contractors for the carpets did not do a good job installing as nails pierce the Homeowners on random places upon walking stairs and floors, not inserting their safety and quality promise. We tried our very best, though how barely few weeks when we transferred to revive the front and backyard grass and we already got a violation letter from the HOA and even the small detail of trash and recycled bins in public view. They have not even given us our CC& R's!. Am enjoying living in our new house.

We love our home, but the experience we went through was not pleasant at all. We came to a house to a non working dishwasher, a hole in the outside roof, the grass had foot prints that made the surface uneven.

Everything in the process was excellent.

Overall sales on the front end is great and so is the title process, especially closing day. The in between of signing a contract leaves much to be desired. We had a poor experience with the underwriting process due to poor communication from the individual working on our documentation (1 month gap between responses). Additionally, our construction manager was the last person I would ever want to be in charge of managing the construction of our home. He was unresponsive, had poor project managemet (closing was delayed because he was unaware a portion of the roof was not yet ordered), and on our final walkthrough, which is supposed to be when you sign off, there was a laundry list of items that weren’t complete or very obviously needed to be repaired. You could tell that no one was doing regular inspections of the workmanship especially leading up to closing. We literally had to come out to the house 4 hours before closing to sign off on the final walk through. Which there were still issues but as closing had already been delayed once we decided we would submit warranty tickets. The warranty process is also very slow and have had the trades rescheduled/no show multiple times. Also, due to the constant delays on our homes and the last minute fixes an entire side of the sod laid is completely dead as it was trampled due to all trades being on site the day it was laid and further there are giant spots where dead sod was laid and was pointed out prior to the closing process which was not resolved. Basically, have to replace the entire side yard and 1/4 or the front and back yards sod on our own within a month of moving in. Honestly, feel like we did not get what we paid for in respect to the sod. Overall, the house was a great value and thus far seems to largely be good quality outside of the warranty items and sod. Again sales (Trent) is fantastic and so was the title office on closing day. However, the construction process and underwriting process leaves much to be desired. ... More
