Sparkle and shine up front, but not what you get by end of the process

A lot of promises up front, but a disappointing process. Poor workmanship, little attention to detail, disrespect for the property. All inside doors poor quality, cheapest, not solid, they are hollow. Phone calls not returned. Front yard landscaping had collapsed area next to driveway on closing day, and they installed two trees that are inappropriate selections for the size of the yard. Wish I had shopped around more.

Pulte was very helpful through the whole buying and building process. When I had questions, they did their best to get back to me as soon as possible. Matt, who oversaw the building process, was awesome. He was always quick with answers to our questions. I also liked that you get a lot for the starting price of your home - ie granite counter tops in the kitchen.

Construction manager promised to fix issues after signing on closing date. Blinds to be repaired, Never done. construction team was in a rush to close out house and never completed some work promised to us that would be done after we signed. To find out the last 2 construction managers quit and left Pulte. Never should have signed until work was complete. "WE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES'

Lack of attention to detail

Unfortunately our excitement to move into our new home was quickly replaced with regret. This is the second house we have had built new and this one looks and feels like it was rushed to completion with little to no attention to detail. Our cabinets were not level, the handles were not even close to even, the trim and paint were both very sloppy, the stonework was falling apart (literally stone falling off), there was/is paint and stain on the carpet and tile, the yard wasn’t flattened before the sod was laid, the list goes on. They are currently working with us to get all of these items ...

Dead Tree

Pulte Homes has provided a pretty good product. Located in the Sendero project of Veramendi in New Braunfels, Tx, it is a very expensive product. Pulte's contact personnel have been excellent to deal with. My only real disappointment is the dead tree in the center of the front yard. I have submitted numerous updates as to its declining condition, both to Pulte, and to the landscape contractor. I think I still may have reason to hope I am not being stuck with a dead tree.

The workmanship was standard and finish was under the standard. Trustworthiness was was ok. Value for the price was ok. Pulte did have some features that I liked. Responsiveness to issues was substandard. We had small issues that needed to be addressed but were never completed. Sad.

We have been in our house for 6 weeks. The craftsmanship is not great and we can see some corners have been cut to get these house completed faster. Our major concern is the lot and grass. I have already called and requested part of my lawn be replaced since the grass never took and is now dead. We argued about the slope in the back and said it would be a problem and it is. They refused to address this issue and ignored my concerns. The carpet is not great and we paid for upgraded material but feel it is still sub par. The sales person did not provide all details of upgrades available ...

My wife and I purchased this new home when we moved to Texas from Georgia. The house has major air conditioning issues to this day that have not been corrected (12 A/C service calls), there have been multiple issues that had to be addressed that should have been caught by the builder before we closed yet were identified after closing, the master bedroom closet shelves collapsed, and the overall effort of the Pulte team to address customers concerns with their new homes after closing is below average to say the least. I believe Pulte Homes is struggling with a skilled trades labor pool, as well as sufficient job site supervision. While there are a number of things that are flawless with our home, there are also a number of things that continue to be issues that should have been addressed. Pulte Homes presented themselves as craftsman that could provide an upscale home backed by a national brand. We bought a fabulous Pulte Home in the Alamo Ranch community of San Antonio, TX. I have to commend the entire Pulte team for a job well done. This is our fourth house with moving so much. They did a great job building it and met the deadline even with the tremendous amount of rain. Of course with any new house, you will find small things that require fixing. They didn't leave us high and dry; they responded to our requests in a timely and friendly manner. If the team that assisted us with our home purchase is any reflection of this company than you are in good hands. Priscilla was our sales rep. She was AMAZING! We met her at a different subdivision but ended up purchasing in New Braunfels, and we begged to keep her. She was so sweet to my family and was super accommodating. She drove completely out of her way to meet with my family in New Braunfels to tell us about the home instead of pawning us off to someone else. We LOVE our home. Pulte was easy to work with, met their deadlines, and answered our questions. When we had a sewer issue, we called the emergency number at 3:30 am and got a human! Then, Brandon, the warranty specialist fought for us with the city, and all utility companies to get the problem resolved so quickly. The problem was caused by the city, but Pulte stood by me throughout the entire crisis. Great company! I highly recommend this company.

Pulte warranty department never answers the phone, and when you leave a message they don't call back. I called them on Wednesday June 19, 2019 and today is July 1, 2019 and I still haven't received a call.
