Building/buying a home can be a trying time, but all the folks at Pulte made is a very smooth and successful process. From Lee & Carol on their sales force to Noelle & Jevon in their mortgage company then Jennifer in their Title Co. then on to Eric (the best Builder EVER) and finally on to Stephen & Sandra in their customer care office, Pulte has the best people on board to expedite, explain, and ease your home buying experience. This is the second Pulte Home I've purchased, and I love it.

Buying a home should be a great feeling and it was until I settled for the $20K at closing using Pulte Mortgage (Dawn). Never thought I would be saying this but they are not good at their job at all. And just FYI, you don't actually get or control the $20K at closing. Per my closing documents it stated " You are responsible for $0.00 of the discount point" yet when it was closing time they took the discount point for the loan rate out of my $20K closing stating that I actually didn't pay it because it came out of the $20K closing promotion. I must say, I never would have thought that Pulte would build such wonderful homes. I have purchased three new homes in the pass and from well know builders and none of them compared to Pulte. Best experience I have ever had. From the salesperson to the construction manager. They were all great. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I love my new home now!

1. When you use Puhlte mortgage company, they change rates on different items to keep your money. It doesn’t do any good to buy down your rate because your payment stays the same with the increase of charges they add. 2. Very hard to get them to fix any new house issues, in a timely manner. Would look at other builders next time. Sales person left company during sale and no one informed me. Very poor communication.

Brandon our project manager was great at communicating and helping us through our closing process. If you have an option to use a different mortgage provided, we do not recommend pulte mortgage.

We had a great experience with our sales agent and love our lot and floor plan but have been disappointed in the finish and trim of the home. Several of our level 5 cabinets have been cracked, paint chipped, gouged, exposed nail ends under office counter, trim work and paint is sloppy, very expensive hardwood floors are cracking and peeling. Warranty work has been very responsive and we hope to rectify the issues. We would not recommend choosing hardwood floors with Pulte, they were very expensive and despite controlling the humidity, only sweeping and damp cloth on any marks, we continue ...

Having recently purchased two new home builds that were not Pulte, I was amazed at the stark differences between Pulte and the others. Our Pulte home quality and responsiveness to any question or detail was responded to immediately. Our job supervisor was anxious to make sure we understood the process and was always available. Our salesperson was also great!

Sloppy trades, especially painters. Cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms not installed properly, huge gaps, do not close like they should, peeling, bubbling. Caulking looks like a five-year-old did it.

During the home buying and building phase of the process, Ana and Trevor were outstanding. They provided timely updates and even answered my questions when they were not working. Unfortunately Pulte post build process and customer service as been sub-par. I’ve been in my home for just over 30 days and there are lots of issues. My water heater circuit breaker constantly trips even after the plumber and electrician have inspected it. On move in day, I couldn’t lock my front door. You’re just a number and a $ sign to this company. They don’t care about your experience or issues caused by their poor workmanship. Biggest mistake buying from Pulte should have gone with Perry!

Our salesperson attended to our every need and is the only reason this is not a 1 star review. Our home inspector said the build quality was well below what he expected from a Pulte home. After noting the many build and finish issues that needed addressing a week before closing, Pulte did nothing for the first 4 days until I sent them an email saying that I could not close on the house in its present state. They had to delay closing from the morning to the afternoon in order to get the house to the point where I would take it. I gave up on trying to address the non-deal breaker issues b/c ...

Overall we are mostly satisfied with the house. However, we felt like it was rushed as we approached escrow time. The process does take a long time but laying sod the day our escrow closed wasn't appealing. The wood for the backyard fence needed replacing in some parts. QAQC missed some rotting planks, but the warranty team was quick to repair that. Why couldn't the wood be treated/waterproofed as we have a part of the fence that is bending and nails that no longer play a part- especially if you're dropping over $540K. We had an excellent experience due to our Realtor, Angela, and the Construction Manager, Jack. We purchased a home, which was a new build. We did this from 2100 miles away, and meeting with Jack, in person, once. He could not have been more helpful. He responded immediately to any questions or concerns we had. The quality of work is poor. I have been waiting for a month the get cabinets doors replaced that were miss drilled when the handles were installed and they tried to fill the holes with caulk. One pantry door also broke the first day we moved in and we are still waiting on the to be replaced as well. We also had to have our main sewer line replaced due to a brick being dropped into it. The quality of work from the trades is poor at best.

There were no delays with the build - in fact, it was complete ahead of schedule! The quality of the house was beyond what I expected, and I've not had any major issues since I moved into the house.
