We love our home and are exceptionally pleased with it. There have been a few issues, but between the project manager and warranty consultant, things get fixed pretty quickly. The difficult part of the home building/buying is we lived in VA while the home was in TX. Until the last 2 months, it was difficult to get updates on the home. The final project manager was the best in keeping us informed.

Great sales and community manager but home was unfinished

When we moved it the home is beautiful but there were Significant amount of unfinished cabinet trees and paint areas for a home that is valued at $450,000 I would expect it to be almost perfect. I think there was a lot of opportunities to finish the home but it seemed very rushed I still love the layout and the home itself but we are still waiting for some of the Cabinets and baseboards cabinets and baseboards to be finished. At the end of the day there were a lot of small things that were missed and those are usually the biggest.

Our Pulte was well built from the foundation to the roof. Disappointed in the quality of the lawn that was installed. Too many weeds in the lawn from day one. They have added some top soil due the uneveness of the lawn. I'm working tosolve the crab grass problem but feel Pulte should provide a better quality of grass.

the house is very well built with every detail very well finished, my family and I love the neighborhood the neighbors are very friendly . only one detail that I did not like was that the house was not cleaned before closing ,it was very dirty with a lot dust and one of the bathroom was extremely dirty the windows full of dirt .I talk to the representative she says they hired a company to clean the house, I do not think they did the work ., I had to hire staff to clean the house ,I couldn't let my daughters play in a dirty house

We had the best sales person and field managers. Keeping in constant communication throughout the building process is crucial. We checked our house several times a week. All issues and concerns were addressed quickly and professionally. Although there were a few things we would have liked to change overall we are very happy with our new home.

We purchased a new Pulte home this year. I have purchased 4 other new homes previously by other builders. Tho Pulte builds a nice home, we’ve had more issues than expected. Things that should have been identified prior to posting it for availability. Plumbing issues with 3 sewer backups in the first 2 weeks. Drain lines apparently has construction debris in them. A leak between the wall that required a lot of work and remediation to fix. I’ve noticed other issues that will be addressed to Pulte once we’ve confirmed the most urgent ones are fixed. I’d say Quality Control is an issue that ...

Overall we are mostly satisfied with the house. However, we felt like it was rushed as we approached escrow time. The process does take a long time but laying sod the day our escrow closed wasn't appealing. The wood for the backyard fence needed replacing in some parts. QAQC missed some rotting planks, but the warranty team was quick to repair that. Why couldn't the wood be treated/waterproofed as we have a part of the fence that is bending and nails that no longer play a part- especially if you're dropping over $540K. Although our salesman was new with Pulte he was fantastic!! He always made himself available and he is the sole reason my husband and I stuck it out with Pulte when things became rocky. Our first construction site manager refuse to ever meet with us then out of the blue he quit. The second site manager was 100% better and communicated with us weekly. There was a 60-day delay in the construction of our house. Delays happen with construction; however Pulte did an extremely poor job at communicating these delays. The virtual purchasing experience was quick and painless. It helped that the home consultant actually lives in the neighborhood and can give honest feedback about Pulte and the ins-and-outs of the new community. We liked the virtual design center appointment too as it was easier for us to narrow down on our picks and not spend on other things we would have seen if at the center in person. The build process was fast however even though we were told the house would be done by mid-November, this doesn’t mean the whole house, just that it was structurally sound. We had great success working with Ellen in sales and Peter as the PM. We are very happy with them and their attention to our concerns and questions. We continue to be frustrated with the paint, texture, tile, door, electrical, appliance, etc.. work the subcontractors completed too quickly and with poor effort and attention to simple detail.

Would have got 5 stars but my AC line wasn’t hooked up and leaked out into my walls and floor, doorbell didn’t work, oven was broken, melted parts in my dishwasher, grass was dead due to a covered up sprinkler head.

It could be better, follow up don’t happen when expected. Still waiting on follow up after closing 3 months ago. Paint quality is poor. Repainted immediately after moving in. Still finding little things that was not caught in walk through but now OUR responsibility although it is fixable.
