Don’t get me wrong we love our home… there were some cosmetic issues that I feel should’ve been addressed, and some that still need to be addressed. A lot of my windows are the wrong size which leaves small gaps on the sides.. one window is completely different than the others. We have been working with them on getting our screens all replaced, because they were all too small. I don’t think my yard was leveled before the sod was laid (seems a little lumpy) and whoever did our sprinklers didn’t bury one of the sprinkler heads…. there was paint on the rails of the banister upstairs. Like I said it’s a lot of smaller cosmetic things but things that I feel should have been addressed and spotted by the builder considering the price we paid. Overall good experience even though there were some delays in the building process.

Our experience was great!! The transaction run smooth and we love our house, it's very functional and pretty. We've had to contact them for some questions after closing and they are always available and ready to help.

Tyler the construction manager is very responsive and accommodating. Also, the issue for clogged toilet has been addressed promptly.

Great people working locally at Sterling Ridge. Josh and Annette are great employees and people. Single worst title company experience I've ever had. Title company was an embarrassment to the brand and seems as if corporate doesn't care.

Plan for the build to take as long as the original projection window despite any positive comments regarding finishing early. If you need to make temporary living arrangements make them based on the full amount of time Pulte has to complete your build. Look at what is written down as and building modifications or interior elements on paper carefully. Mistakes were made on mine that essentially “became my problem” because I signed off on number and descriptions ( which made no sense to me) trusting that they were recording my selections accurately

We love our home. Fell in love when we first walked through it. Bruce is an amazing salesman and was spot on through the whole process. We appreciate the guy tremendously. Materials... we are finding some here and there issues, but nothing detrimental. We do think that some of the contractors used should be reconsidered; however, we are happy nonetheless. The construction crew... Kelly... we adore. She knows her stuff and we feel as if she is the cherry on top to the experience. The overall experience was ok, just we had some issues with the trees and garden and It is taking so long to repair. Other than that the house is great. I love it.

Overall we are mostly satisfied with the house. However, we felt like it was rushed as we approached escrow time. The process does take a long time but laying sod the day our escrow closed wasn't appealing. The wood for the backyard fence needed replacing in some parts. QAQC missed some rotting planks, but the warranty team was quick to repair that. Why couldn't the wood be treated/waterproofed as we have a part of the fence that is bending and nails that no longer play a part- especially if you're dropping over $540K. There are lumps under the carpet and some might even be a screw or nail. There are some nails that are sticking up from the carpet under the stairs that have needed to be hammered down as well. Although our salesman was new with Pulte he was fantastic!! He always made himself available and he is the sole reason my husband and I stuck it out with Pulte when things became rocky. Our first construction site manager refuse to ever meet with us then out of the blue he quit. The second site manager was 100% better and communicated with us weekly. There was a 60-day delay in the construction of our house. Delays happen with construction; however Pulte did an extremely poor job at communicating these delays. When there is a lack of communication, problems will surely arise! All delays were discovered solely because we were proactive in requesting updates. Pulte provided us feedback regarding the delays: 1). The first site manager quite and he did not do some of the things he was supposed to do. Well the customer is not responsible for the actions of Pulte’s employees. 2). Pulte’s second reason for the delay was their construction worker were getting sick from COVID-19. I completely understood Pulte’s second reason for the delays. Where Pulte failed was in the communication department. Had we not inquired about not seeing any movement at the house site, we would have been in the dark. Supposedly, the delays had an effect on multiple houses been built. If this was a mass problem Pulte should have communicated these issues in writing (email/letter). When we would visit the construction worksite we often found beer cans throughout the house and yard (yes, we have pictures). We were extremely concerned and provided a Pulte representative the pictures and mention this matter in a survey. No one from Pulte contacted us regarding this matter. We found a water bottle find with urine placed in one of our tubs and yes we reported it and have pictures. Just as we reported food wrappers throughout the house site (in and out) to include yogurt, some type of meat bone, and fountain drinks. Then one day we notice what appeared to be raccoon footprints and once again I took photos. We did hire an independent home inspector, especially after a couple driving by in the neighborhood yelled out “Make sure you get a home inspector.” I have never experienced anything from neighbors before. We decided to go with Pulte’s financing due to their incentives. The young lady who served as a loan manager for my loan was very pleasant. I noticed she was asking for paperwork that was originally generated from Pulte. What I discovered is Pulte business processes need to be improved!! An example is a request for a receipt. We made a payment to the Pulte’s sales office using our debt card however Pulte’s financial department request a copy of the receipt from us the customer when Pulte already had a copy of the receipt on file. This is at no fault of my loan manger as she was just following Pulte’s processes. There should be a benefit to doing everything related to your house with one company. As with any new house defects will be discovered and we are slowly discovering them. We discovered one major defects (front door lock not working) and multiple minor defect. It took roughly 30-days for our front door to be replaced (completed yesterday). We are waiting the other items we discovered to be fixed and some replaced. Overall we are 85% satisfied with the house itself, which is a direct result of the second construction site manager we had. ... More

Would have gave them a 5 but they was in such a rush to meet their deadline that I had to keep asking questions about the same problems items I wanted fix. PM was patient with me but I just feel like the whole build was rushed.

It was a wonderful home.

The quality of the package for a Pulte home is well designed with value added bonus systems which make the package of a Pulte home a good buy. The onsite team here in Veramendi are above the bar in excellence and responsiveness.

Would have got 5 stars but my AC line wasn’t hooked up and leaked out into my walls and floor, doorbell didn’t work, oven was broken, melted parts in my dishwasher, grass was dead due to a covered up sprinkler head.

Pulte Homes has provided a pretty good product. Located in the Sendero project of Veramendi in New Braunfels, Tx, it is a very expensive product. Pulte's contact personnel have been excellent to deal with. My only real disappointment is the dead tree in the center of the front yard. I have submitted numerous updates as to its declining condition, both to Pulte, and to the landscape contractor. I think I still may have reason to hope I am not being stuck with a dead tree.

Felt like for the money that we spent, our house should have gotten a lot more attention to detail, workmanship, clean up of our home and yard area, before closing on our new home. Pulte has been good at fixing the major issues brought to their attention thus far. For that we are grateful.

The home is gorgeous. My wife and I are proud to call the home built by Pulte as our home. Trusting it was built with care consideration is in question. Material seems to be high quality but the workmanship is below average. We found areas that were not sealed, parts damaged such as shelves that were cleverly hidden, the trees died outside within a week of moving in, windows scratched with a knife (assuming to remove the plastic cover), and the list goes on. It hasn't been even a month yet. The saving grace is the responsiveness of the build manager. Pulte gives a 30 day support after closing to take care of issues we find. The build manager is very positive and willing to help. From the build manager I can tell Pulte hires their direct employees with focus on experience. I'm not sure they do the same for their contractors. Coming from California where a home like the one we purchased would be 4 times the price. We'd recommend Pulte. ... More

Make sure all items are addressed prior to signing.

Our experience was up and down with a bunch of delays but both Nancy and Austin took great care in keeping in communication with us and getting us in our new home as efficiently as possible.

I wish we had asked more questions. We would have made slightly different moving arrangements. There were too many issues after closing.

For the over-inflated price paid for a Pulte Home, we expect a better quality workmanship on the build with far better attention to detail in the build both interior and exterior.

Our build happened during the COVI-19 pandemic. There were a lot of set backs during the build and our construction manager was great at handling each one and helping us through the process.
