My over all experience was very bad. My house construction was delayed by 4 months. I was rushed and forced to close the house before fixing all the issues that we identified. The construction manager tried to help us. But still there are several in resolved issues.

The quality and workmanship of the build.

I am aware of the problem builders are having retaining workers and getting materials due to Covid, but the buyer is the one paying for this shortcoming. The quality of the build and workmanship is very poor, and the companies response to correcting these issues is lacking thus far. The warranty folks have stepped up and are trying to resolve the issues and I am hopeful they will make things right. It is very frustrating to spend you time waiting on worker to show up and correct problems that should have been done right the first time.

Everything was great from sales to customer service however, this has been the worst new build from pain crew I’ve ever seen. From caulking to base boards to doors, the painters did a terrible job. This will be fixed but it’s disheartening to see the poor level of workmanship in such a large part of the home’s esthetics.

This was a horrible experience. I chose Pulte due to the longevity of house building experience. My experience made me felt this was working with company just starting off . I will say my loan consultant were great. My construction manager(Kelly) answer every call and email. After the move the customer service contact (Meghan )made sure all needed repairs were done.. the sales person in the front office (Robin) was very unresponsive to my concerns and questions . Only until my brick was cancel and I had to pick a new brick which was another nightmare. The was my 2nd home and it was the worst ...

You pay a high price with low quality homes

Pulte was a good company. I remember my friends houses 15 years ago with Pulte, they were excellent in quality. Now, in my own experience, the quality is from low to average. They are not into details anymore, you will see excess grouting, floor tiles are not even, walls corners are not straight electric switch are opposite and other stuff. This are the things that you see, the question is, how about the things that you don’t see, like the structure, framings, etc. I’m just hope and pray that everything is within standards.

My sales representative and field manager were wonderful. However, after we moved into our home we noticed more and more issues, mostly cosmetic, with our home. The overall structure seems well done, but paint and drywall especially are poorly done. Recommend very close and thorough inspection before closing.

We were very excited to get an opportunity to purchase the home we now have. The home was the exact model we wanted with just a few differences but nothing we couldn’t live with. Because of the pandemic we knew there was a possibility that the completion would be delayed. We sold our other house early and were fortunate to have some place to stay until the home was completed. The home buying experience was easy. The mortgage company was great and responsive. However, the work done on the house was very sloppy. You can tell the house was built by the lowest bidders. For example, there was paint splattered on the floor, cracked tile, towel holder was not anchored to the wall properly so as soon as we hung a towel it fell off the wall, caulking was not finished in some areas, and other minor details that you would normally not expect to deal with from a new house.

Started off with a good experience, overall excitement and eagerness to move in. The neighborhood was oversold too quickly and then the delays started. Understandable for weather delays and supply shortages (who could’ve predicted the market and wood supply issue) what wasn’t understandable was the lack of communication and the excuses we ran into. For any issues or potential issues we brought up, we were told “it’s up to code” for delays we were told “you should’ve expected delays” on our walkthrough before closing-2 days before closing, we still did not have power to the house or AC- all ...

If what you are looking for is quality work with a builder who is proactive in satisfactorily remedying workmanship issues then this isn't the builder for you. The home overall is in good condition however the subcontractors used by the builder were primarily people who could fog a mirror not specializing in their specific craft and the quality of the work speaks for itself. The builder's idea of remedying the workmanship is far from what you would expect for a new home or from a builder of this magnitude. We moved from Minnesota to Texas to be nearer to family. The nature of moving across the country was a challenge in itself. While there were some bumps initially with the build process, Pulte kept us well-informed with weekly builder update calls.
