We purchased a new Pulte home this year. I have purchased 4 other new homes previously by other builders. Tho Pulte builds a nice home, we’ve had more issues than expected. Things that should have been identified prior to posting it for availability. Plumbing issues with 3 sewer backups in the first 2 weeks. Drain lines apparently has construction debris in them. A leak between the wall that required a lot of work and remediation to fix. I’ve noticed other issues that will be addressed to Pulte once we’ve confirmed the most urgent ones are fixed. The virtual purchasing experience was quick and painless. It helped that the home consultant actually lives in the neighborhood and can give honest feedback about Pulte and the ins-and-outs of the new community. We liked the virtual design center appointment too as it was easier for us to narrow down on our picks and not spend on other things we would have seen if at the center in person. The build process was fast however even though we were told the house would be done by mid-November, this doesn’t mean the whole house, just that it was structurally sound. Great sales and PM, poor subs and finish work

We had great success working with Ellen in sales and Peter as the PM. We are very happy with them and their attention to our concerns and questions. We continue to be frustrated with the paint, texture, tile, door, electrical, appliance, etc.. work the subcontractors completed too quickly and with poor effort and attention to simple detail.

During the home buying and building phase of the process, Ana and Trevor were outstanding. They provided timely updates and even answered my questions when they were not working. Unfortunately Pulte post build process and customer service as been sub-par. I’ve been in my home for just over 30 days and there are lots of issues. My water heater circuit breaker constantly trips even after the plumber and electrician have inspected it. On move in day, I couldn’t lock my front door. The floor in the upstairs hallway squeaks already. My AC unit won’t cool upstairs but downstairs it’s freezing. ...

The home buying experience was easy. The mortgage company was great and responsive. However, the work done on the house was very sloppy. You can tell the house was built by the lowest bidders. For example, there was paint splattered on the floor, cracked tile, towel holder was not anchored to the wall properly so as soon as we hung a towel it fell off the wall, caulking was not finished in some areas, and other minor details that you would normally not expect to deal with from a new house.

The quality of work is poor. I have been waiting for a month the get cabinets doors replaced that were miss drilled when the handles were installed and they tried to fill the holes with caulk. One pantry door also broke the first day we moved in and we are still waiting on the to be replaced as well. We also had to have our main sewer line replaced due to a brick being dropped into it. The quality of work from the trades is poor at best.

Overall a good and happy experience, some minor issues we came across after closing but are being corrected in a timely and professional manner. Suggestions would be to change out the air filters as soon as possible after closing, register appliances and begin a list of items that need to be addressed for the first year warranty.

If we had to use Dayna, sales, again for anything we would not buy, build or even think of owning a home. Working with her was the worst experience for us. She continued to call my fiancé by my last name and Jose when that isn’t even his first name either. Matt, our builder, we would work with him on any home at any time. He was amazing and followed through every time and timely.

Sales personnel were great, we worked with Chris an had a good experience overall. The build of the actual house really showcased the lack of tradesman quality, a lot of poor quality materials are being used. Rushing out on these homes is causing a lot of simple things to be missed. Construction manager Matt was very helpful and responsive. Warranty department so far has been great.

Working with construction team and the finance team was over the top awesome. Very responsive and great people. Steve from construction, and Amber and Cassandra from Finance were just outstanding. As for sales rep, very bad communication with us along with not being truthful at all.

Construction manager promised to fix issues after signing on closing date. Blinds to be repaired, Never done. construction team was in a rush to close out house and never completed some work promised to us that would be done after we signed. To find out the last 2 construction managers quit and left Pulte. Never should have signed until work was complete. "WE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES'

Surprise. No drawers in the bathrooms' counters. Shouldn't "cut corners" this way. Painting is OK but not really "professional".

My sales representative and field manager were wonderful. However, after we moved into our home we noticed more and more issues, mostly cosmetic, with our home. The overall structure seems well done, but paint and drywall especially are poorly done. Recommend very close and thorough inspection before closing.

These homes could be improved a lot if the workers preforming their tasks cared about the quality of their work and not so much about rushing to complete their task. With just a bit of effort they could make so much better a product and without adding a lot of cost. An example is to have a 4 plug electrical outlet at the bathroom vanity instead of the 2 outlet. Offer (at additional cost) a whole house vacuuming system (Bean is a popular manufacturer). The electricians had to replace the 220 volt cable for the clothes dryer. It is my third and most expensive home with Pulte in an exclusive neighborhood, yet the quality of the workmanship has been the poorest. I am very disappointed. The salespeople, staff, and field manager were all great as always from my previous Pulte experience, however, the quality of work was very poor. It seems we closed on the house, and it needed at least another month before closing. Every day/week I find new issues. I have spent the last 2 months addressing issues.
