Very bad experience for first build home

When I first decided to build a new house, I had no idea the nightmare I was about to endure. I was filled with excitement and anticipation. Little did I know, their negligence and shoddy workmanship would lead to months of frustration, disappointment and wasted time and money. Poor quality and bad workmanship

Had an issue with main staircase with visual nail marks on treads and open gaps between stairs and stringer. All 16 steps out of 16 steps have gaps and nail marks. Reported to site manager before closing and he told us to handle it with warranty. Stairs contractor and Pulte warranty manager came out and look at it. Both agreed that it’s poor workmanship but still Pulte’s response is it’s within spec. Still working with warranty but this shouldn’t cause this much trouble. Salesman mislead us on options and used supply chain issues to give us down graded appliances. Had a number of issues with the finish carpentry. Exterior had mud all over sides and back of house. Was told it would be cleaned by close and on day of closed was a mess. Said it would be cleaned by end of day. Not done, touch up on trim not done, sod was burned out completely in a number of areas. Said it would be replaced. Not done. Pulte Mortgage never presented A competitive offer. Poor quality and bad finishing touches

The day of our celebration walk we noticed there were holes and bad paint job all over the house. Shoe moldings had dirt and damages.....our quartz kitchen counter too was damaged during construction so was our fidge. It had scratch marks all over. There were damages to some planks on our LVP flooring during construction. Kitchen cabinets had scratch marks, our front yard's grass is missing....steps on stairs are loose and hazardous! The garage door looked second hand with damages all over and the front entrance needed to be painted it had dirt and holes oll over. The loft door is missing ...

Even on settlement day,there was no preparation for delivery of house,but only the words of the person in charge of of the field and waited,but until now,it has not been fulfilled. 1. It has been more than a month since the water from master bedroom has leaked out and has been shown to the site manager, but there has been no contact yet. 2. I asked to check up garage’ outlet. Home that will cracked even before 1 month

The house started showing cracks and the ceiling starts to deteriorated and some drywalls starts to sink within a month. The builder ask you to give them a great survey rate and they do not fix the repairs that suppose to be done prior to closing if you don't comply on it. They claim the house is high quality, but I never seen this low quality even from various leasing apartments

This home has been a disaster.

I recently purchased a new condominium from Pulte Homes (Lofts at Reston Station) and it has been a nightmare. I hear every footstep from the upstairs neighbor, as well as other noise. Pulte staff promised that you would not hear noise from neighbors, but they refuse to complete a sound inspection or take measures to mitigate the noise.
