For such a large builder, one would expect lot more choices. For example, there were about 5 choices for faucets. If you choose anything other than what it comes with the base plan, you will pay 3-4 times the market price. On the good side, the Pulte people I worked with - sales and construction - are good people and trying their best, in spite of the corporate restrictions.

Working with the sales and manager was always a good experience. Overall a great experience but Covid and weather delay contributed to a loong build time. Drainage of the lot is an issue and hopefully our crawl space will not be a problem, We still have some issues to be worked out.

Pulte takes quality very seriously.

Once they actually started building the home, things went well.

Pulte homes builder's team is very responsive to the issues . Also, they were able to complete on time in spite of supply chain issues. I wish they have taken a little more care in checking the smaller details ( like few paint touch ups , carpet edge finishes etc. ) . But, they are taking care of them after the close-in . Overall I am satisfied with the build quality and the construction team and recommend them for buyers.

For the amount of money we spent on the home and the lack of completion of our home when we moved in was very disappointing. The little things you thing would get a lot of attention on are lacking throughout or home. 2 months later and we are still waiting on things to be completed.

I had a pretty bad closing experience with lots of frustration and I still have not got things installed in my house which I paid for. And Pulte did not give me any incentive for the experience I had

The complete home buying process was horrible, a train wreck, by far the worst of any new build house I have purchased. It took 16 months from the time we signed our contract until closing with over 10 months being the build. The drawings for the house didn’t align with our options in our contract and then the house wasn’t even built to the drawings causing massive delays due to rework including redoing basement concrete to add plumbing that was never installed for the entire house and redoing framing in the basement and first floor. The house being built incorrectly wasn’t even caught by our field managers, I had to tell them that the house was being built to an incorrect floor plan. Then there were months of delays where no work happened, months of terrible or no communication followed by more issues with permitting linked back to the incorrect drawings which we weren’t made aware of until the house had been stalled for weeks with no status update. Our very first closing date given to us at the start was 7/22 and it ended up being 12/10, even though the confirmed date given to us 30 days out was 12/8, all due to the Pulte screw-ups, and we didn’t even know it was closing on 12/10 until 12/9. Our field manager could never answer a single question we asked and he never knew when a certain job was going to happen. We would ask him on Friday when something was going to happen, like paving the driveway, and he would say he didn’t know or that it would be sometime in the next couple weeks, and then we would go to the house Saturday to find the work had been completed. The guy had no clue how to do his job at every front from knowledge on building to communication. Work was still being done on our house after we closed and got the keys! It’s utterly insane that Pulte has no process to design and build a house, nor an actual schedule with real milestones for building a house. And finally, after we closed the house was left with trash all over the front and backyards, a port-o-potty and dumpster out front for several days, trash on the roof and interior fit and finish work incomplete. ... Great experience during build phase but terrible customer service post sales.

Pulte Home delivery high quality of the house and they have a great team including sales and project manager, Brian and Shawn, to help me out the whole process. They are professional, trustworthy and really responsive. Good experience to work with them.

Our overall purchase experience was quite positive. The home is beautiful and the community is nice. The sales team was great in helping us through the process. The craftsmanship so far seems at the level I would expect or better. The materials are quite good. The post sale follow up items have been very slow to complete (2 months so far), so that is an area to improve. I would recommend a friend or family member to purchase a property from Pulte.

Many finishes look hastily installed. In 6 weeks since ownership only a few issues have been resolved and we keep finding more problems.

Ryan and his team worked very hard to get us the home on schedule, and were excellent at communicating the entirety of the building process. We are so happy with our beautiful home and really love it. Prior to Ryan and his team being on the project, unfortunately, it did take an unusual amount of time for the home to begin building (approximately 6 months from acceptance of offer and signing for the home) and it was definitely hard to see other homes that sold prior to ours, closing sooner. There are just some tiny "things" that are a bit wonky, but overall, the house is gorgeous and it was a great experience for home buying! ... More

Sales agent was awesome

Very important to have proper expectations, that workmanship/quality is very average. You will find many eyesore or things that you think should be done better, but you will get told that it's within the "company standards/tolerances/guidelines" so thats just the way it is. Examples are, uneven painting/trim, paint on trim, poor carpet installation, lots of touch up work left for you to find, asymmetrical stairs, asymmetrical shower hardware. Just various things you'll find in the home where you can tell things were done very quickly and slapped together to meet a corporate deadline. I've submitted many of these items to Pulte and I'm waiting to see how they respond so my review could change. However, it is important to have the expectation that if you are a person who cares for details, that you will have to spend a good chunk of money fixing many of these items on you own, which many people wouldn't expect when buying a brand new house. ... Great people to work with, but some

Pulte homes did a great job starting from beginning to the end. They are making the corrections right away when they did a mistake. I hope they should avoid major mistakes in the future for other potential buyers.

Toni and Brain have been very responsive to my questions and the home build quality is great.

But few issues are there in newly constructed house specially with heating system is very poor, looks like they properly not installed. Called several times for the service but people come and won’t fix. This only issue I have with this new house so far!

Pulte made the whole buying experience very transparent and smooth.Very satisfied with customer point of view.

We spoke with many other builders before we found Pulte and from the beginning we could tell it was different. They were so helpful and kind even before we put in our offer on our home. Through the build process they were so kind and gave us prompt updates, I never questioned the work or the quality of our home. I love working with the our team!

I had the best field manager, Jason. He stayed in great communication, went above and beyond, even came to my house after closing to fix a few things personally. Can’t say enough. It made the transition between houses easy and seamless. We’ve even recruited one of our friends to buy!

The end to end experience from Pulte agent to project manager was fantastic.
