First; Patti, sales consultant, was/is so helpful and often went out of her way to help us. Second; Kevin, builder rep, is great to work with. He acted immediately to some minor issues we had once we moved in. He continues to provide help on additional items and provides recommendation/solution that I can easily perform. Third: Jeff and Todd of the warranty team are very responsive and I feel we are in good hand with them with the items that need to resolved. Listen; I understand our home was build in a crazy time (covid shut-downs/restrictions, labor and parts shortages, etc.) so I give the Pulte team two big "thumbs-up" for doing what that did. Sure there are some issues with the new home, but this is to be expected and more so when your home is built during a pandemic. Overall the experience was a great experience. Unfortunately the pandemic made some things very difficult and I can’t blame Pulte for that.

What we really appreciate about Pulte is the ability to customize your home. The floor plans fit our lifestyle, and the location of home is breathtaking. Homes are energy efficient and complete with amenities expected in homes today. They are one of the few, building single story homes.

The staff was great and answered all questions in a prompt manner. In terms of construction, a few small issues. First, the laundry room door can’t be open (it swings in) while accessing the washer. Second, the washer and dryer doors open giants each each. So you have to pull the clothes out of the washer and go up and over the contacting doors. The doors should be on opposing sides so you can transfer directly. This is especially true if we pre-ordered the washer and dryer from Pulte. The water and electrical hookups are known, so the models can be selected based on that. Third, the bathroom accessories are installed well but do not seem very sturdy. Plus, the markup on them is absolutely insane. From what I’ve seen them sold for online, I would say 50-100x. Fourth, noticing paint where it shouldn’t be. Fifth, a few other installation matters/decisions associated with personalized selections left me a bit baffled and made those selections difficult to use. And yes, maybe I should have noticed during the walkthrough. But it’s tough to see stuff initially. And more difficult to see through sheetrock until you start to mount/install certain things. ... For the most part, the workmanship, finishes and quality of materials are good. The customer service rep has also been generally good with follow-up. Our main concerns are with exterior factors. Garage front aprons to the narrow streets are almost non-existent (extremely short). The same goes for guest street parking - not nearly enough. Lighting at the walkways - also mostly non-existent. This makes it difficult for guests and deliveries to find our place - even dangerous. There is a small light fixture over each garage door, but less than half of them are on at night, leaving the streets fairly dark. ... More

We bought our new Pulte home in August 2019. Sales and construction kept in close touch throughout the process. We expected some delay in the close date, but it ended up being delayed a total of 6 weeks. After moving in, it took three months for a few last issues to be resolved (things like replacing a door, staining the fence, wiring external outlets, etc). Although the process was a little longer and more annoying than we'd expected, ultimately we are very satisfied with our new home. The house itself is lovely and very well constructed. I would definitely consider Pulte again in the future.

There were a few problems that came up during the build of our house. That's to be expected. Each time the problem was resolved so I came to trust the build team. We have been in the house a little over a month and are happy with how it turned out. There are a few pickups we have submitted for the 30 day warranty period. A representative is scheduled to come to the house to look into them next week. I am hoping we will get the same kind of response we got from the build team.

The finishing touches (delivering the home) could have gone another step in helping orient with home systems. Likewise, while we love the overall home, there are finishes (doors, lighting, fixtures, etc,) that could be of a higher quality.

The design that what was shown in the model home is what we got. Small issues here and there, some things which they said they would do, they said they won't after we signed, but they were minor items....but dropped the trustworthiness score for that. Value was good relative to other homes but the quality seemed to be rushed and thus not great. They are responsive to issues.

How did you feel about the entire process, from initial purchase to final move-in? The initial purchase was a great experience and we are very excited about the ground-up home. We have been given the option to go to the Pulte studio, where we have very less time to make up our mind, within 4 hours we have to decide what we needed as an upgrade to the house. However we were prepared for this activity and explored it by going to the Pulte online options, and we could complete the selection. But this activity is hectic and hard to decide on combinations of options in a 4-hour window. In my opinion, this activity should be a full day or spread across multiple days. We have monitored the progress of the house construction, and everything was good. The final review was completed and we have moved to home with few minor repairs. How would you describe the quality and value of your new home? The build quality was good, however, Pulte used contractors to install the furnace and A/C. They did not verify the heat balance and A/C, we had a struggle for the first month to balance the heat inside the home. The kitchen door handles were missed before closing, however, the team responded in time to fix them after the move. We have sprinklers installed at our home some of them are not working, and we have created a service request to make it fixed. The master bath shower head is very basic, we would expect a good one when we are buying the home at a higher price. What to improve: - Please verify the quality when you are working with contractors. - Please focus on things like shower heads, and grout sealing for a better experience. - Please check all of the upgrades are installed before the closing. How was your experience with the builder’s team? Did they do what they promised? Did they respond to you in a timely fashion? The team is good they did respond in time. While the home construction process was not without hiccups (not unexpected in times of pandemic/labour shortage/supply-chain issues), Pulte addressed our concerns to our complete satisfaction. We are happy with the final product.

Our overall purchase experience was quite positive. The home is beautiful and the community is nice. The sales team was great in helping us through the process. The craftsmanship so far seems at the level I would expect or better. The materials are quite good. The post sale follow up items have been very slow to complete (2 months so far), so that is an area to improve. I would recommend a friend or family member to purchase a property from Pulte.

Pulte made the whole buying experience very transparent and smooth.Very satisfied with customer point of view.

The community layout could have been greatly improved upon. Compared to other new townhome communities in Bothell/MilCreek, Urban Village seems congested. Road built quality is also not up to the mark although I believe the builder may lay out roads again once the construction in the community is complete. Landscaping design and installation pales in comparison to other new townhome communities too.

Despite the delays brought by the global pandemic, our Pulte Home’s build proceeded and was turned over to us. We’re happy to be in our new home.

I would say the overall quality & service is good, although it's not as perfect as themselves claimed. My new house has a broken hole on the drywall on a not so noticeable corner, and one of my bathroom blinds as a part of the paid package, is askew severely. For the hole, I personally didn't find it during the "house quality celebration" before close, and for the blinds, they installed a portion of them after "house quality celebration", which makes me have to go through customer service and wait for some extra time. Except for a rush close, I would say they're overall good, I got timely responses from customer service(although due to CVOID-19, it may take longer). Pulte's people are quite nice and willing to help answer questions I have. People also help introduce my new house very clearly, and the overall value for the price paid is also not bad. ... More

Overall, we are finally happy with the house. We have owned a Pulte home in the past and when we were looking for our retirement home, the location and design of the house was superior to anything we had been considering and we decided to buy again from Pulte. My only "complaint" was the overall build process. Things started out as expected. Patti J., our sales person, was exceptional. She was always there for answering questions and guidance, and still is. The issue was with the multiple construction managers who were in-charge of the site during the build and the communication issues that they had. Because of the manager "churn", the closing was delayed from the agreed on date. We planned our move into the house with enough buffer so this was really not a problem. After move in, we had to have Pulte come back and correct multiple issues, raised during the build process, which are just being completed now (6 weeks after move in). Once the third construction manager (John) arrived on site responsiveness improved greatly but he could not overcome issues caused by the churn of the previous two managers. Overall, we are very please with the house and the service provided by our sales person third construction manager. As a single homeowner, I was very impressed with the level of commitment with which I was treated. Not knowing much about home building or the process, my questions were answered quickly and in terminology that I could understand. No question was a "dumb question"! It was a wonderful feeling to go through the whole process knowing, without a doubt, that the Pulte team was with me every step of the way!

Recently bought a property through pulte. Their construction overall is of great quality but would really appreciate if they would improve their service at and post closing a bit. In our case they were not willing to move the closing date even by 1 day without charging us but when we did the walk through some issues came up that they had to repair. Nothing major just some finishings but still would be great to get everything handled before moving in. Now that we’ve closed its taking ages to get any work done. Again, the team is responsive but slow at sending folks to actually do the repairs

their field manager is super friendly and try to offer help for everything they know. However, the sales promised to refund $500 for replacement of microwave, however, the house closed more than 3 mont, still not receive it, asked couple of times to their sales, either no response or no helpful information.

Everything is reasonable for the price paid, and quality is better than many other townhomes we have browsed.

We've had tons of issues caused by contractors taking shortcuts and spending more time hiding mistakes than fixing them. Every time we've reached out to Pulte, they've taken care of it and made it right. Just wished we didn't have to.

Warranty work is addressed quickly
