Overall, we are finally happy with the house. We have owned a Pulte home in the past and when we were looking for our retirement home, the location and design of the house was superior to anything we had been considering and we decided to buy again from Pulte. My only "complaint" was the overall build process. Things started out as expected. Patti J., our sales person, was exceptional. She was always there for answering questions and guidance, and still is. The issue was with the multiple construction managers who were in-charge of the site during the build and the communication issues that they had. Because of the manager "churn", the closing was delayed from the agreed on date. We planned our move into the house with enough buffer so this was really not a problem. After move in, we had to have Pulte come back and correct multiple issues, raised during the build process, which are just being completed now (6 weeks after move in). Once the third construction manager (John) arrived on site responsiveness improved greatly but he could not overcome issues caused by the churn of the previous two managers. Overall, we are very please with the house and the service provided by our sales person third construction manager. As a single homeowner, I was very impressed with the level of commitment with which I was treated. Not knowing much about home building or the process, my questions were answered quickly and in terminology that I could understand. No question was a "dumb question"! It was a wonderful feeling to go through the whole process knowing, without a doubt, that the Pulte team was with me every step of the way!

Recently bought a property through pulte. Their construction overall is of great quality but would really appreciate if they would improve their service at and post closing a bit. In our case they were not willing to move the closing date even by 1 day without charging us but when we did the walk through some issues came up that they had to repair. Nothing major just some finishings but still would be great to get everything handled before moving in. Now that we’ve closed its taking ages to get any work done. Again, the team is responsive but slow at sending folks to actually do the repairs

their field manager is super friendly and try to offer help for everything they know. However, the sales promised to refund $500 for replacement of microwave, however, the house closed more than 3 mont, still not receive it, asked couple of times to their sales, either no response or no helpful information.

Everything is reasonable for the price paid, and quality is better than many other townhomes we have browsed.

We've had tons of issues caused by contractors taking shortcuts and spending more time hiding mistakes than fixing them. Every time we've reached out to Pulte, they've taken care of it and made it right. Just wished we didn't have to.

Warranty work is addressed quickly

Workmanship was inferior. Structural, plumbing and electrical areas were missed. Homeowners had to notify construction team of concerns. Trades were careless.

Overall I think I have a beautiful home and I'm happy with my purchase, but I feel the push at the end compromised the work. I don't even fault the project manager, I fault the company. Many details at the end were missed and in turn, I am now stuck with trying to fix everything. That is frustrating when you spend $650k on a home to have to go in right away and fix things. I also have to say I never understood why so many people parked in there driveways. I know understand. The garages are so small that most vehicles (in the Pacific NW) don't fit. I pretty much have to touch the wall to get my vehicle into the garage. That is a major design flaw and renders my garage almost useless. Rob and Sandy are great to deal with and made the experience better. I just wish the company gave them more breathing room to really execute without feeling the pinch. Paint work was not high quality or complete, some jobs not complete around home.

Let me start by saying we love our house. From the inside it is great. For the price paid the outside drainage issues are unexpected and frustrating. Haveing to dig out all the ditches filled with rock and put the gutter run off underground should have been standard. Rock ditches running through the lawn is pathetic. It wouldn't have cost much more to just do it right especially when people are playing 3/4 of a million dollars.

New home owners need to make sure they write down all of their change order numbers and colors and Pulte comes back and takes care of all of the little things that you didn’t see when you move in, be persistent on that. Other than that Patti and Jeff have been very awesome with all the help that they’ve given us

Great experience during build phase but terrible customer service post sales.

Overall have been happy with my new home. However, I did have an issue where I needed to file a warranty claim due to a pipe leak, and it has nearly bred 2 months without resolution. I am still waiting for repairs to finish and have not been given a timeline for when to expect them to be done. Very unhappy with how this issue has been handled.

We closed on our new home on 1/28/2021. Entered on 1st Feb,2021. We reported our dishwasher was not working and pulte seems to have know there was an issue with our dishwasher but they hid from us during closing because the red horse that supplies water to dishwasher was shut off. When we turned it on the water flooded on floor under the kitchen cabinet. We requested it to be fixed on Feb 2nd and they pronised to send a tech on Feb 23 which they later cancel on Feb 21. It is very frustrating that We have not been able to use the dishwasher since we closed on our home. We don't know when it will be fixed since they canceled the appointment. It has been more than a month now. I am very mad and disappointed at pulte right now. ... More

Love my home! I do think they should have included shelves (for sure) and seats in the showers. I need to figure out how to put safety handles in the showers. Wish the tile sealing was already done. Other than that everything is marvelous.

This is our second new build we have purchased and while some of the features of the house are better than out first, there are details that are needs improvement. Visible dry wall tape that has been painted over in the owners room. Dry wall corners that is protruding/bent through the wall texture. The floor in the owners room excessively pops/shifts near the closet, the same closet door sticks. floor shifts/pops right in front of the balcony door. Messy caulking on the exterior of the balcony door. You can feel the subfloor surface is not entirely level when walking over certain areas. Finishing work on the cabinets in the bathrooms/kitchen messy or not done. Water damage on the baseboards in a bathroom. Some of these are not as big of a deal than others but quality in workmanship is the issue. Trustworthiness, so far so good. We got a third party inspection done and Pulte completed all of the findings. During our walk through we pointed out some details we did not like and they did their best to complete them. We had one service ticket submitted for the dishwasher and they were very quick to come out and resolve the issue. The dry wall corner that is bent through the dry wall texture is something that the builder said they will fix verbally on the day we got our keys but we yet to follow through in submitting the service ticket yet so we will see how they respond. ... John was great, he deserves 5 stars. I truly want to express my gratitude for his work, the relationship and communication. His attention to detail and customer concern was a highlight in the building process. Eric was helpful and professional. Lisa in the design process was very professional, kind and knowledgeable. Pulte has some work to do on its sales process! We are still surprised that the walls were painted with flat paint. The no flexibility policy left negative feelings. Overall, a good experience except for the constant delays and slides in closing.

Once they actually started building the home, things went well.

My buying experience was not good, the entire process was extreme obscure, with unprepared people, and many disconnections. The building quality is average, the electrical installations are really bad, and the amount of issues with equipment is bothersome. I’ll definitely either avoid Pulte or be more strict on my next purchase.

Pulte Home provides value for the home.

Purchased a brand new townhouse from Pulte- the property was priced per market and the added upgrades were good too. How er, with being in the house for 2 months, we are starting to see creaking floor at one place (it’s a brand new house), issues with the air conditioners, bathroom hardware not fixed properly and the wall paint is so fragile that the slightest of touch while walking up and down the stairs with boxes is creating major marks. I have not put in a request to fix these yet due to COVID but will see how fast they fix these issues. Other the other hand, the community has been developed nicely and the entire transaction with Pulte for closing using their financier went without much hassle. ... More

Am giving a 3 of 5 star to most categories primarily because of workmanship and materials. Soundproofing in the living room is inadequate; human and TV voices can be heard. Flat wall paint used in kitchen and baths instead of semi-gloss. Floorboards with chips were used instead of being discarded. Cement board siding has spots of gloss paint on it. Framing of the panty door wall is crooked. Heating and cooling design seems haphazard. Electric wall heaters on first floor have to be run most of the time in cold weather. Heat rising from the 2nd floor mini-split makes wall heaters in 3rd floor bath and bedrooms unnecessary. However, floor plan is more functional and esthetically pleasing than other similar townhouses on the market. ... More

The home was priced as per the market value but the craftsmanship of the house is not up to the standards. They just try to rush and finish the home rather than doing the right thing.
