Overall, we had a great experience throughout the homebuying process. The team was responsive, professional, and easy to work with, and they addressed any questions or concerns we had along the way. One thing that would have made the experience even better would be receiving a complete list of the materials and finishes used in our home, such as the cabinet color, interior and exterior paint colors, tile, flooring, driveway pavers, and other finishes. Having that information would be very helpful if we ever decide to repaint, make repairs, or extend any part of the home in the future, since we could easily order the same materials and maintain a consistent look. ... We have had several is*****s and now we are without AC in a brand new house at 110 degrees outside. ***** manager is pointless, should have ***** during the build and you wouldn't have so many ***** is*****s after the sale. ***** has been someone I would rather not deal with. He is late in responses, condescending and his lack of personal s*****s are to be something I do not care for. My QC manager has people s*****s and his job is to make sure that my customers are taken care of swiftly. ***** gets to it when he gets to it. I have been very disappointed in this purchase. I have had 5 new builds and this is the first time I have delt with a ***** manager. Either you buy the cheapest products or you have no supervision and ***** during the build. Either way we are not excited about this and we even had family buy in our same neighborhood. I will make sure that if my concerns are not rectified soon. I will start letting everyone know. I also know my neighbors are having the same is*****s with *****, garage opener app, ***** camera and improper lighting install just name name a few. ***** love to discuss with someone other than yiu field staff. ***** is the only person from your feild thay actually cares about the people but apparently he has been told to let ***** handle it. Nick with sales was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Jesse the superintendent gave maximum effort to ensure we were satisfied with ***** in.

The sales team was quick to make promises and tell us what we wanted to hear during the buying process, but the experience changed dramatically after closing. Getting follow-up on warranty and repair items has been extremely frustrating. Communication is poor, responses are delayed or nonexistent, and it often takes multiple attempts just to get an update. Scheduling repairs has been equally disappointing. Trades have shown up at our home without any prior notification, while other scheduled appointments resulted in no-shows with no communication. On several occasions, we rearranged our schedules only to have contractors fail to appear. For such a significant investment, I expected much better customer service, communication, and accountability. Goôd i’m like it and everything

We were very particular about the options in our new home. We also wanted the incentives of a spec home. I told my wife we won't find the layout and options at the right price. Incredibly we found it at Richmond American Homes. We checked off all the boxes for our must-haves...from a spa shower to a gourmet kitchen. Our sales rep Nick was tremendously helpful as was our walk-through rep Logan who meticulously blue taped our home, got it taken care of, then made sure we got our appliances registered. We're settling in just over one month now. Just as promised we were contacted by Kyle for a follow up 30-day walk-through. We're still browsing the Richmond American website which also proved to be extremely helpful. We are new to the area and researched several builders. We chose Richmond American Homes to build our house based on the ratings other homeowners provided and after doing some walk throughs of their model homes. The building process was excellent as well as the inspection process. We were given a warranty contact at the time we took possession. At 30 days the warranty contact called and asked if we had any issues or concerns which we didn't at that time. A week later we had a minor issue and requested them to look at it. They had someone out the same week to look at it and rectify the issue. I am very pleased with the quality, craftsmanship and responsiveness of the Richmond staff from building to warranty care. Each morning when I walk my 3 dogs, I feel so happy.

This is my first home I bought in AZ after moving here a year ago. Now that I have finally moved in I have been running into nothing but problems. I have a full sheet of things that need to be fixed. I have been in communication with Anthony but it is hard to request time off from work to provide him those 2 days that he needs to have workers come fix it. I have nothing but luke warm water in my master bath, a have a kitchen cabinet that looks like a rat chewed it, I have nails sticking out of the stairs, cracked kitchen island and alot more. I feel like the builder was in a hurry to build the home and never checked the work that their workers did to see all the damages and its not just my house my neighbor has also told me about the stuff in their home. I currently have a garage door that is brown with the bottom panel white. Since I am new at job it is hard for me to take time off specially since I work 8 to 5 monday to friday and Anthony told me that the workers also work Monday to Friday from 8 to 4. I also had a new home build in Lake Elsinore with CalAtlantic but didn't have as many damages as this one does. ... More

Bought a move-in ready home. The whole process went very smoothly. All punch list items were corrected quickly. So far with are pleased with Richmond American Homes.

30 days have come and gone and they have yet to fix the huge crack along the ceiling. They came for the small touch ups and said they’d return for the major one. But nothing

The nightmare we’re going though with our New Build is terrible. Completely unacceptable. We expected way more from Richmond. Never again.

Salesperson and Superintendent are great. Their process was not enjoyable whatsoever. I almost pulled out of the deal due to their financial/underwriting department. Really check your home on the walkthrough. Walls are paper thin. You can hear the other people in the next room and the washer/dryer are EXTREMELY loud. You can not wash without it sounding like one’s in the room with you even when door is closed.

So this is not a custom home. I bought one already built so didn't even get to pick finishes. I think its a nice 'hood so far and this house is a great value in this market. Was very easy working with Theresa in sales, very knowledgeable and nice to deal with. Seems to be decently built. As with any spec home, attention to minor details could be better but overall there were no big issues to fix before closing, mostly just drywall and paint touch-ups. Since moving in I've had a couple mechanical issues (manufacturer issues mostly) and Krystal has been quick to get the repairs scheduled and done. I buy a new home and all doors have some damage the tub for one of the bedrooms is cracked and they wanted to repair it instead of replace it even if I never had use that tub because is a "new hause" they onli give a window of 6 hours to arrived at my place DURIN THE MORNING while I work and CANT asked at my job for the whole day to wait for them, instead of give a window after 2pm to arrived. I just regret, I buy a new home for that reason (not to deal with this things) and it's just the same. This is so annoying.

We had a wonderful sales rep who went above and beyond in helping us through the entire purchasing process . The walkthrough was thorough. The home is beautiful. Most miraculously—both my husband and I love everything about the home including the affordable price. We love our new home.

My sale guy was great love his attention to detail and willingness to help out they have great homes nice area minutes from local restaurants grocery store in hose school plus nice and peaceful parks the hose like every other house you will find imperfections but all minors one all in great home

During our first visit to the sales office, we were greeted by Brooks and Michelle. Both were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and available during AND after the sale. We really appreciated all of the communication and follow-ups. They really made our home purchasing experience a breeze! Then, a week before closing, we had our walkthrough with superintendent Jesse. It was a very detailed walkthrough, a lot more than I had expected. He pointed out things that I never would've thought of. That was very much appreciated! During the next few days, he had all those little things squared away. At our 30 day walkthrough, Jesse was extremely quick and helpful at reaching out to the various contractors to address the items needing attention. The whole team was phenomenal from start to finish, and beyond! Communication and follow through during the whole process was/is so helpful and appreciated.
