I would have given 5 stars for overall experience but Richmond American Homes’ mortgage company was a nightmare to do business with. The house and Richmond’s attentiveness to issues is excellent

Start to finish, Jennifer made the entire experience effortless. Arnold always is here to help if I have questions or need anything. This is my 3rd RichmondAmerican home and my first brand new one. Such a great home with great craftsmanship. 10/10 recommend RichmondAmerican and 10/10 I recommend the Seasons at Red Rock.

Buying with Richmond homes was a really good experience, as you know, buying a home can be very stressful but the team at Richmond homes made it very easy and communicated all the way through the process, Francisco, Jennifer and Darcie were guiding us every step of the way through the process and got us through. My family is happy with the house. A+ experience.

Extremely pleased with the quality of our build, very nice standard features, thoughtful upgrades. Everyone that we dealt with was excellent, from the initial sales representative contact, through building supervisor and walk throughs, to the various members of the administrative team that handled all of our processing.

Not why you would expect for the price, quality issues everywhere.

The sales rep, Jennifer, was a pleasure to work with! She answered our questions and messages at all times of the day. She went out of her way to assist us in this purchase. The site superintendent, Arnold, and his assistant were very responsive and professional to work with. They made sure things were corrected after the initial walk-through. Very much appreciated the on-site team for this development.

A couple things, first the sales representative was horrible, total lack of response to multiple inquires, I felt many times he blew us off. As far as the home, I’m mostly happy but there are a few issues I would expect a seasoned builder to get right. First not all studs are 16” on center, a big problem I noticed when mounting brackets for TVs in what I consider logical places. Some I found were 17, some at 21, very frustrating. Also electrical outlets, same with TV locations, they are not center in walls where they should be logically. This shows poor care in craftmanship

Been a month since moving into our new home and there were a few minor issues and the warranty department is pretty responsive. While the house look and interior feel is good, can't help but notice some of the low end products used in construction, which is pretty common with today's track home builders. Got the benefit of the rate buy down, which helped a lot. Field staff, Chuck Salo and Manny Tacho were very responsive, approachable and helpful. Loan processing team members, Jennifer and Darcie provided excellent and responsive service. Not a good experience with their Sales Rep Sonja (is a rep at Firefly subdivision) who was great until making a commitment to purchase but became unfriendly and unhelpful for the remainder of the process. Our new Richmond-American home is something we've always wanted. Design and quality are excellent and the home is exactly what we were looking for. Our salesperson, Courtney, is outstanding and made the whole process very easy. The few minor new home follow-up items were handled quickly by Nathan, and the Richmond-American team has checked in with us several times to ensure all is well. What a terrific experience.

Great area and beautiful homes

We very much like our home now that we are moved in however: we were give major misinformation and promised things in the sales process that couldn't be delivered in the actual agreement; preclosing fixes still have not been completed even though we have now been in the house 30 days, many excuses are quickly given when issues arise but action is slow.

Sales officer disappeared before closing. Obtained our keys for the model from another sales associate. Repairs still pending 4 weeks from closing. Poor quality craftsmanship on all trades. Greatly disappointed!

Josh was fantastic. There were a few hiccups. It wasn't a great experience but it wasn't bad. House is great. Process felt really pushy so it was annoying to have to sort of block that off a bit. Overall Josh was great. Process was mediocre from a customer service perspective. Our home is awesome.

Most of the actual buying facts that we responded to were not correct or they were altered to fit Richmond Homes. We were told we were purchasing our home at 2.99 3.99 4.99, never happened. We put an additional $15,000 dollars down to qualify for all the great rates, but that dismal a difference either. We. Were quoted a price, and interest rate and payment from our sales person. They were not accurate and when we went back to question him he left quite. We had know one to help. Even though it was quoted in print it didn’t seem to matter. I was told my house isn’t worth the asking price and it could appraise for less. It did not. They used this as a sales tactic to convince me to buy at an inflated price. They offer incentives but it’s a far stretch to get them to utilize all of them. Tried negotiating with them for weeks and ultimately gave in to them because we were tired of their games. They didn’t make the sales experience enjoyable. Defects started to show close to closing. The assistant superintendent was giving push back about work being completed. The actual superintendent was extremely helpful and the warranty company has been responsive. In the end, I learned a lot of buyer bewares to look out for. 1. Poor Workmanship From day one, the home showed signs of subpar construction—sloppy finishes, sloppy installations, and corners that clearly prioritized speed over quality. 2. AC Broke Within Three Months Our central air conditioning failed just three months after move-in. With 109 deg temp inside home, we had to stay I hotel before it was fixed. 3. Front door lock broke in two months. It was replaced after a month. 4. Cockroaches Emerging from the Sewer Then came the worst: cockroaches crawling up through the drains. This often means there’s a plumbing issue—like cracks in the sewer line or P-traps that have dried out, offering pests a highway into your home These pests aren’t just gross—they carry allergens. Moving from CA to AZ was not an easy decision, very Nice Sales person Janna made little bit easier, got a beautiful house in Nice location. everything was smooth, little bit of missing quality issues like water leak, but they fixed it very fast in few mins after calling.. warranty person Melissa also very nice and quick response. Overall we are very happy with house Richmond American built. may be just one request, allow one or two customer request also along with their pre selected designer items, please also consider design phase functional aspect example not having single drawer under bath sink. Awesome experience, Great help from everyone on the team with walking me through the process to make it so much easier and less stressful

My new home buying experience began with excitement. Things began to go wrong and the responses were addressed slowly or not at all: frame to garage door, electrical issues, closet bar holding clothes loosening and the insulation between the foundation of the house and the walls not completely sealed when the doggie door was installed. I’m currently awaiting for the compressor on the air conditioner to be replaced, the unit is completely out of service, which was really loud to begin with, but it was working.

I am very disappointed with the quality of the appliances. This home was very expensive, but the appliances are very low-grade. Poor quality. I’ve had nothing but trouble with each of them. This being a model home I expected top grade appliances, but I receive low quality.

Excellent builder to work with. Staff is courteous and helpful. Everyone will go above and beyond to solve a problem or to satisfy the customer. We would definitely recommend Richmond American Homes!

We are absolutely delighted with our home purchase. We moved out of state to purchase our new home and the sale rep was very kind and always answered my calls and questions. She wasn’t pushy to make a sale and was spot on to what our monthly payment would be. I didn’t have any surprises during closing. We are very thankful for the help from the lenders who were patient.
