The sales dept was fabulous. Tanner did a fabulous job. The mortgage qualification was horrendous. Major overhaul needed only to find out mtg was sold before I made one payment. Had a keak behind master sink over 30 days ago. Today the counter top and medicine cabinet sit in my bedroom on the floor. Paul tried to schedule the carpet to be replaced before the counter top and medicine cabinet was reinstalled. Have not heard from him in 10 days and I won’t let carpet be installed until these are done. Who wants brand new carpet trampled on by plumbers, cabinet people. Overall, I like the people I have dealt with while purchasing my home. I'm not super happy with the workmanship of the home or how slow it is to get the issues addressed. I've been in the house for a month and I still don't have my garage floor problem fixed OR at least had any correspondence from the builder on when it'll be fixed. The said that the problem is out of spec and should be fixed but haven't done anything, to my knowledge, to fix it.

Buying home was amazing, getting the items that where on the 30 day list to be fixed seems impossible, I am now thinking that they will not be done unless, I call everyday, which of course I do not have the time! Very disappointing!

So many errors in the home. So little communication when issues were brought up. We are over a month into our new build and the amount of issues are out of control. What is even worse is that we cannot get anyone to fix anything. I have been without a dishwasher the entire time. Items from the carry over list have not been attended to.

Probably the worst experience dealing with them to call back or follow up on items that need repairing. Would never buy a house from them. I moved in 3 months ago never got my repairs done from the first initial walk through. They said they where going to do a 30 follow I called them after 2 1/2 months. They came out and looked at the items from the first walk through and crickets again. Still waiting sucks when you spend 1/2 of million on a house and customer service sucks.

From start to finish and beyond Brian made sure all of my questions were answered. Logan had been very responsive to the few issues we’ve had.

Char is very knowledgeable about the process and all my questions and concerns were addressed promptly. I have never felt this happy and comfortable in a home. I love my new home.

nice house, great upgraded appliances, decent grade paint on the walls (unlike a lot of new build).Massive 3-car garage and large laundry room. wish house was prewired for audio (good that all rooms have ethernet hookups). Need more/upgraded sockets in kitchen and garage.

I did not like the build process with spec home building. After much thoughts and trials with the new build we were advised that the model home was available so we decided to purchase the pewter model home and could not be happier, even though it cost more than we were willing to pay but in the end we were greatful that we had the money for the model home. Thank you for this great home.

From start to finish, our first homebuying experience was fantastic. Our sales associate Janna was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us find the right home for our needs. She patiently answered all of our questions and made us feel confident every step of the way. When we outlined specific must haves in our home including a large center sliding door into the backyard and tile flooring with a specific color scheme Janna found the perfect lot that matched. The quality of workmanship in our new home was solid and we felt that Richmond American stood by their product and our community superintendent Travis kept the tradesmen honest. From the flooring to the finishes, the home reflected a high standard of craftsmanship. It’s clear that this builder takes pride in delivering homes that meet modern day expectations and include features that are unique and timeless. One of the things we appreciated most was the transparency throughout the process. We opted to use the builder's in house mortgage company, HomeAmerican Mortgage, and our Loan Officer Lisa kept us informed about timelines, costs, and next steps. We are pleased with our Richmond home. Kelly from sales was amazing all the way. Excellent follow through with our needs. Jennifer explained the loan and kept us updated. Some challenges but we pulled through with her help. Only drawback which we knew is we could not make any changes to the upgrades or plan as it was pre-set already. Overall, we are still happy and blessed with our new home.

The builder kept us informed about the progress of the project.

Again I MUST point out Albert how did our walk through and assisted us in getting moved in. Albert is a true professional and an asset to the company. The only negative I have is with the mortgage insurance company. They had NO idea what they were doing. I had to make repeated phone calls to them to get the policy straightened. I would recommend your company find a more professional insurance company.

The home buying process was easy, and our sales person, Dale, was responsive and answered all of our questions. Janelle with the mortgage side of it was great! She was very responsive and patient with us as we worked through the process. We appreciated that. Our home tour was very thorough. Richard and Jared were very informative and have been great with follow up. We really like our 8 foot doors throughout our home, including the garage door. We especially love our paver brick driveway and patio. It adds a beautiful touch to the front of our home. The only negative would be that the cleaning of the home prior to move-in did not meet our expectations. We had to clean some things when we moved in….white grout residue on kitchen tile backsplash and tile in master bath shower. The floor tiles had some smeared grout and paint specks in some areas. First, shout out to Ken (Area Dir of Construction?), you rock. We wouldn't be here if you hadn't stepped in. The sales rep, Gina, was wonderful. I always felt she was working hard for us to have a positive experience. After adjustments were made to the field team and Cody took over, we felt there was very good organization and responsiveness up to the closing and then beyond the closing to complete items that needed adjustment/replacement. We love our new home and look forward to many years of enjoyment. Thank you Richmond American.

Overall a good experience, however I believe that due to Richmond trying to build too many homes as the same time that the attention to detail has been left behind. There where major issues on the day of closing that had to be corrected after moving in. All of the items have been completed but they should have been done on the day of close. If we had not needed a home to move into, it is possible that we would not have accepted the home the way that is was.

We purchased our first homes from Richmond. The long and stressful process was marred by the sales associate, as she was inattentive and careless. She failed to order the appliances, so we had to remind her of them. They were delayed and arrived late, so we had to discard all of our refrigerated groceries upon move-in. We explained the situation to her, and she simply ignored our calls and emails. We still have not received an apology from her. Overall, we are happy with our home, and we love its design and layout. The paint job was done poorly, as it will take a while for us to remove all the pain splattered on all outlet covers, stove, baseboards, and doors. ... More

The salesman and construction super were great. But the subcontractors who actually did the work are sloppy and don’t have very much regard for the mess they leave for the new owners. There was paint spatter throughout the house, exposed holes in the wall and ceiling, appliance not installed correctly, sink fixture not installed correctly, and the backyard littered with construction debris (nails, broken roof tiles, paint dumped on the ground), and plenty of cigarette butts. Most of this will be corrected, but the backyard is the homeowner responsibility. It will be a beautiful home, but only after the homeowner identifies the shoddy work of the subcontractors. ... More

The office staff was amazing. Jennifer and Teresa always made me feel welcome and did their best to answer questions and address my concerns. I like the floor plan and feel the home is well built, but I do not like that I had absolutely no say in the finishes or the quality. I have already replaced some of the lighting and hardware and I am sure we’ll have to replace fixtures and flooring in a few years. There also was no option to insulate the garage or garage doors, which is a must in Arizona weather. I purchased the home because they offered RV garages, which are great.
