I appreciate the overall quality and value of my recent purchase with Richmond American Homes. The neighborhood is quiet and I love the mountain view’s and easy access for my mountain biking trails.

The office staff was amazing. Jennifer and Teresa always made me feel welcome and did their best to answer questions and address my concerns. I like the floor plan and feel the home is well built, but I do not like that I had absolutely no say in the finishes or the quality. I have already replaced some of the lighting and hardware and I am sure we’ll have to replace fixtures and flooring in a few years. There also was no option to insulate the garage or garage doors, which is a must in Arizona weather. I purchased the home because they offered RV garages, which are great. After weeks of negotiating with the realtor for Richmond American homes we were finally ready to commit. On Thursday we had been in touch all day and I finally sent a text saying we were ready to go to contract. The realtor should have called me at that time and secured my earnest deposit He didn’t respond until the next morning by which time the price of the house had been raised 5k and no amount of proof that he was in the wrong made a bit of difference. nice house, great upgraded appliances, decent grade paint on the walls (unlike a lot of new build).Massive 3-car garage and large laundry room. wish house was prewired for audio (good that all rooms have ethernet hookups). Need more/upgraded sockets in kitchen and garage.

No attention to detail. Poor finish work. Worst cleaning for a move in I have ever experienced. Zero customer service 6 weeks after move in. Way over priced
