Poor communication and lack of care

My move in date was changed first "by mistake". Then a second time was changed 10 minutes before end of day, the day before with no notice provided to me. When I finally did move in there was no walk through and several items were not finished, to include; issues with both showers no range installed, and several leaks. Since then superintendents have been rude, cussed at me, and been generally non responsive.

My husband and I bought our first home in March and just to sum up our experience I’ll write a small review for now. from the beginning our experience was less than favorable, our sales agent did not know how to handle any questions we had. Our home also did not come with blinds, fans, and bonus we got a broken front window that had been there since October and we moved in March 25th. Chose a new build in the Phoenix area because I loved the build site and was happy with the interest rates they offered. Disappointing

Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication, transparency and quality of work throughout pre/post home buying. Still waiting for several issues to get fixed that funny enough were identified by the super intendent. They are taking there sweet time and there is no sense of urgency. I understand many homes has several issues and I'm not the only one but that's where communication comes into place. Definitely feel like if I don't frequently stay in touch nothing will be done. Going on 2 months now trying to fix things prior to close. May need to file some ROC complaints.

WORST HOME BUYING EXPERIENCE!!!!

I don’t even know where to begin. Let’s sum it up to the superintendent Mike being incredibly insulting and aggressive to his boss Javier not responding to issues in a timely manner to the other superintendent Gab never returning any text or phone calls for now going on 3 weeks. There’s lots of Builders out there and I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing a home from any other builder!

WORST EXPERIENCE OF HOME BUYING IN MY 57 YEARS

The Estrada Del Oro II site home builder contractors are terrible. the cart was always before the horse. The studs are crooked and uneven. the floor has lumps and squeaks everywhere do to water damage. The wall are all wavy and it looks like a roller coaster. over 1 inch out of flatness. The roof is full of cracked tiles and construction debris. the cheapest material are installed. lower grade than Home depot lowest quality. The baseboards are put down before the tile so all the edges of the tile have cracked grout showing. The toliets and fixtures install are all trash. The ...

We had, and still have, bad experience with the superintendent and assistant superintendent when it comes to 30-day inspection repairs. They are non-responsive most of the time. Quality of the actual home is subpar compared to other builders we’ve used in the past.

We purchased our home with good faith hoping to own a quality home unfortunately not only the quality was not satisfactory, but we were forced to purchase the damaged furniture, and now we have noticed the mattresses are not supposed to be sold and they are illegal for sale purposes, and they may result in injury or DEATH. we notified Richmond American Homes, but they are not willing to take the responsibility. Bought a New Fixer Upper

Would not buy a Richmond American Home again. Grew up in a family with construction background so very familiar with quality and to rate quality would be a 0. The house was complete disaster and unclean upon receiving Keys. Everything we had asked for was denied. Even during walk thru and something as simple as door bell not working and comment made was "I wouldn't want one anyways, who wants to hear a door bell?" well needless to say, I believe there is a simple reason for having a door bell. LOL...anyhow absolute nightmare and they are very pushy to get you to close escrow without them on ...

- Sales agent cancelled our contract and falsely stated it was agreed upon by purchaser/seller. - We were provided 3 different start dates of construction in 6-month timeframe. Earnest was placed on July of '23. Build did not start until February of '24. - Our several requests for change in sales agent was ignored. - We've had to file a police report on their sales agent for harassment. - Sales agent stated our selected options were all in order. There's is nothing to highlight! From start to finish, I hard a terrible experience. From sales person, gallery appointment and superintendent. I've been in my home now 6 weeks and still waiting for things to be completed from my initial walk through. I was pressured the entire process bullied, treated unfair and not at all with any type of compassion or even a customer. I was nothing but another house to close before the end of the quarter. You people run other stock market, so close on as many houses as possible. You need to start working on QUALITY over quantity!!! I paid over $350 000 ...

Poor constructions and responsiveness

I purchased my first home in Dec 2023. There were pending things to get fixed at the last walkthrough; however, as of today's date, we continue waiting for the builder to complete this. No one has contacted me to follow up but only after me reaching out. It has been a very disappointing experience. We bought this home with a lot of time and effort. Staff responsiveness and attention to this matter has been very poor.
