Unbelievably complicated!

This is my fourth time buying a home, and it has easily been the most difficult, stressful, and complicated experience I have ever gone through. From dealing with the lender at closing to finally getting the keys, nothing has gone smoothly. I could have handled some bumps in the road, but this has been absolutely unbearable. Now, I am struggling to get warranty issues addressed. Before this, I had only heard positive things about Richmond Homes, but my experience has been far from what I was expecting. I truly regret choosing to purchase from Richmond.

The Worst Home Buying Experience Ever!!!

Between a 2 month delay, showing up to a scheduled walk thru 3 times to a home that was clearly not ready for a walk thru, the superintendent not providing a completion date but instead saying "any day now", not communicating with utility company to understand what is pending, the home left sitting with minimal progress for 4 weeks while they wait for a meter, not fixing/completing any repairs leaving it all for us to submit claims AFTER moving in, 2 months after move in only completing 1 repair, & continuous lack of response from superintendent and customer service; what was supposed to be ...

When we did our walk through, we were told all repairs would be done on a timely manner, which has not been the case. We are going on our third month and we still have several issues, that have not been addressed. I was told by our Sales Rep and Builder to create tickets in the ticketing portal, but this has done nothing to escalate our reported issues. We have talked to our Neighbors and they are also experiencing the same issues with the Builder and Repairs. This is unacceptable in my opinion when purchasing a new home.
