I have to say I was skeptical after we were in the process and I began looking up reviews, but I can say everything went smoothly. The house was a few months later than originally estimated. Our walks were thorough and everything that was marked was fixed. And a few minor things we’ve noticed since being here a few weeks have been promptly taken care of by our rep. All the trades workers have been polite and professional. Overall; I really have not complaints. We would buy another RA home.

Overall the buying experience was good on our end. Communication was good throughout the process, the only issue we had was communication towards the end with one of the loan officers. Other than that issue, we had no problems with Richmond American during this process. Our walk through with DJ went as well as it could have and she’s already reached out to see if we needed anything since we moved in.

The process purchasing a new build home was easier than I thought it would be. Our sales rep, Solita was wonderful. She has a wealth of experience and made our home buying experience truly memorable. Solita was very responsive and addressed all of our questions and concerns. I love our new home. It is exactly what we wanted in our forever home. Sale consultant and home gallery rep were amazing we loved working with them. Workmanship and quality ifbthe home are sub par we have been at our home for a month we don't expect perfection but there were many issues that were rushed and overloked like dishwasher water was not plugged in. Also we have a leaky shower faucet we hope that issue is resolved we believe are doors were not painted just primed they are very rough. Drywall has many small dents that we did not notice while doing the walk through dimmer lights flicker even in bathroom. To say we are disappointed is an understatement.

Their loan department sucks period. Everything else is good. Excellent to CET walk and warranty dept. Dj is on top of it! Sales is excellent as well. For the builder, there are lots of unfinished stuff, DJ of warranty made sure these will all get fix!

Builder realtor name Katrina is very nice and she helped me with all the things I need. She is very approachable. The house plan is very nice only one thing didn’t meet my expectations is the flooring. I was told in the first place that the flooring is white vinyl but it turned out as light brown. Also David still has 3 things to complete in the house until now he still not scheduling to complete it.

Our experience with Jee and our building superintendent, Ruben, has been outstanding. Jee has consistently been available to address our questions and provide assistance, while Ruben’s extensive knowledge and helpfulness throughout the entire process have been invaluable. However, I would strongly recommend reconsidering any future transactions with Richmond’s Mortgage team. No pride in workmanship

paint splatter all over the new vinyl floor. garage was used to mix paint without using a drop cloth. i assumed when they turned over the house the garage floor would be cleaned. it was left a mess. 90% of the garage floor covered in paint splatter. customers shouldnt have to point out the obvious mess. workers take no pride in caring for the new home. noticed scratches on counter tops from tools. cabinet drawers misaligned. The electrician on the other hand took pride in his work. noticed all wall outlet screws were all aligned. small things do get noticed.

We had an ok buying experience. Our sales agent was great and super responsive. The main issue we had was with the loan processor Alyssa. She was horrible. Asking for things multiple times, asking for things then letting them expire, asking for uncessary items. She seemed very new and that she had no experience with VA loan requirements. Even after closing we were asked to send back the closing check because they dispersed the wrong amount and had us sign more papers because they were missed. 10/10 would NOT recommend using Richmond American Financing.
