I found my home by accident. It was not on my list of properties to view. Once I entered the model I was greeted by Jerry. He showed me the smaller model and the Larimar. Even though I used an outside lender the home buying process went smoothly from beginning to end. Even now the warranty team is attentive and accommodating. From start to finish, Richmond American Homes has proven to be an exceptional National builder. The quality and workmanship are well above average and include so many features that make them move-in ready! There are beautiful floor plans to choose from and we quickly fell in love with one that gave us everything we needed. Our sales manager, Realtor, and site super were all easy to communicate with and helped to make the whole process even better. We can’t say enough good about this experience!

We bought a spec home with a lot of imperfections including several bent and crooked walls (very obvious to see at first glance) sloppy overspray and cabinets all need adjusting. The home itself is beautiful but sloppy craftsmanship with the subs being utilized on the spec home. Customer service is doing their best to fix everything

Not honoring the pre closing agreement to fix the standing water, backyard useless warranty rep and manager lies nothing is fixed fraudulent tendencies. I Strongly recommend staying away

Overall I really love my house and I would provide a mostly positive review for Richmond American Homes. The sales folks and financing team really made the process easy as a first time homebuyer and I think I got a good price and deal on my house. The house did not have window blinds and did not have a screened in back pation, but after I insisted to have that installed prior to purchasing the home the sales staff agreed, which saved me the time and money of installing those myself. The post purchase process has been good but I was a bit let down after I inquired about horrible weed growth in the grass, I was told during my closing walk thru that the lawn was treated for weeds and they will not be a problem, but after 1 month of purchase, the weeds are everywhere, when I called to ask for assistance in getting it treated properly like I was promised, they said it was my problem. Great wonderful amazing successful excellent

The solution to the problems at home has not been quick, I have had to adapt to the schedules established by the contractors and sometimes they have not gone to my house to solve the problems, in other cases the contractors have not responded, that is, I am in my new house and I cannot show it complete to my friends and family because there are still things to repair, I hope they solve it soon.

I’m happy to share that my home buying experience went very smoothly and exceeded my expectations. From the beginning, everything was handled with great care and professionalism. Communication was clear and timely, which made the process much less stressful than I anticipated.My realtor, my lender and my builder were all amazing and would definitely recommend .

Our overall experience with Richmond was normal. Ms. Ranesha was awesome and helped as much as she could. Overall, we have no complaints.

Only major issue that I have had is with the back sliding door not wanting to lock until I used a item to press the pin in. Maintenance have came by and adjusted it twice but it still having the same issue. So I had to put the object back in place in order to get it to Lock back correctly.

Santiago made the beginning of our home buying experience very good. He didn't mind showing every house we wanted to see. I would definitely be referring him to anyone in the market for a house.

Get my grass done this is supposed to be done before I moved in and nothing everytime I call the h.o.a about my home improvements I need to do can't get in contact this is a new development and still building and we can't things done and have to pay 25 dollars when we do don't get us wrong we love our home but the response is crazy

We love the house we purchased and everything about it seems to be built extremely well. 30 days in, the afters sales support is extremely through and helpful as well. But that leaves the mortgage side. They have special breaks for you if you use their mortgage company, which we chose to do. I have extremely excellent credit and easily qualify for the house, but the mortgage company treated me like complete trash. The mortgage loan officer was absolutely horrendous and this was by far the worst purchase experience I've ever had. They wanted to rush the process for me, which is perfectly fine, but then then would be painfully slow on their end. They would say if I provide something, then we would be good. I would provide it and then 2 days later they would tell me that it was rejected and now the offer is worse. This went on for 3 weeks. Each time, the offer worse and worse. Eventually, they said that I could purchase the house as long as I don't live in it. What's the point of that? I got them to correct it, but then they still had that in the agreement in closing and didn't tell the signing agent, so I had to call and get that form thrown out. In the end, I ended up over $50,000 worse off than the offer at the beginning. They turned my very nice, bubbly wife into an extremely angry person. That's almost impossible to do. Then, to top it all off, the allow my contracted buyer's agent to renegotiate the deal with them, collecting 33% more commission than we had in writing. They also said that the builder would hardball us on price and there wasn't room for negotiation on the house. This breach is not something that I take lightly and will continue to pursue. They cost me more money than agreed to line a firms pocket that unlocked 9 doors for us in 2 afternoons. We then complained about the mortgage process to the agent, and he said, I'll investigate. Still waiting for an answer. If I would have know all of this, I never would purchase a home with them. I would be living at a different address. I would never recommend anyone purchase a home from them. Their homes are extremely nice, but I would leave them as a ghost town, filled with empty houses collecting dust and rotting back into the Earth. Jarod was ahead of us at closing day helping us identify items needing corrected before closing day. He really went above and beyond to have the house ready for closing. In addition, days after was available for anything I needed.

They really made this experience easy and very memorable

Jason was awesome. He worked with us & our agent throughout the process. He found answers if he didn’t have an immediate answer. We love the floor plan. The follow up after the walk through has been very positive. They have been responsive to our questions. Unfortunately the financing and title experience was deplorable. I would never use their lender or title on my own. That was the only way to get a favorable interest rate. We were very pleased with the insurance quotes and their responsiveness.

the process with the Richmond American team was very easy. all my questions were answered fast. closing was super quick and we had no problems. everyone on the team was super friendly and easily to get in contact with.

Suri and James were very helpful. Suri, the sales consultant, went above and beyond with support. He was so reassuring. If he didn’t have the answer he found someone who did. I really appreciated him. I love the home and layout. I would have liked a little more attention to detail with the workmanship in some areas. James was great with having my concerns addressed. Overall very happy.
