Oversight of subcontractors is terrible. Obvious poor work left for me to find and then chase down an unresponsive warranty group. I had fewer quality issues when I moved into a used home

Amber was great to work with. Very responsive especially on her days off and after hours. Would work with her again.

Our Sales Agent was great at communicating the progress of the home , including the construction manager. We are out of state buyers and weekly updates made a lot of difference. We were provided with important contacts needed. The mortgage lending side of Richmond American was easy to work with. I would recommend Richmond American Homes.

After moving into the home I realized that all the appliances are very poor quality. My dishwasher was not working.. I had to call several times to get it fixed. not sure how it passed inspection. It is now fixed. The master bathroom doors are backwards. I have to get wet with cold water to turn the water on. Not a good experience. I expressed concern about this and I was told that it is correct. How is this possible? Who has to get wet with cold water every time you take a bath. Not happy about this… Landscaping issues on the back of the house it floods really bad. House gutters not installed correctly causing the back yard to flood. When I expressed concern with the flooding, I was told to contact my home insurance company if water gets in the house. I just moved to this home 30 days ago. I would think the landscaping issues would be fixed by the builder… I request my home light fixtures to be changed to black as it is in most homes in this neighborhood and I was told No. Not great experience so far beautiful neighborhood but home quality not the best it could be. ... There were a lot of little things that needed addressed from our home inspection and walkthrough. The superintendent was super attentive to the issues that we experienced. The most concerning was the potential for shingle damage by wind. It was supposedly addressed but after Milton it looks like the area that they fixed had damage. Riding around the whole community, we saw no other homes with shingle damage so we are concerned of the quality of the roofers fixes that the home inspection brought out.

We agreed to purchase this home while still under construction when a major leak under the slab was discovered. At that point along with other issues like the grading of the property where water collects around the foundation I no longer wanted to continue with the purchase because of potential problems in the future. In the agreement once they have your money they are not obligated to give it back to you even if the problem is on their end because they are supposed to fix it but the repairs done to my house were band-aid repairs that they won’t accept for themselves. Most of the blue tape repairs to be done was never complete and the tape was just removed but we had pictures before and after. I would recommend new buyers to do some type of inspection before agreeing to any contracts. I will end my rant here by saying I will not be buying another home with Richmond American in the future. ... More

I love my new home.

We sure are in our new home. Every bit of the process was smooth. Every person I worked with was kind, professional, and very responsive. I think it was 21 days from purchase agreement to full loan approval. Thank you for building us a great home, Richmond American!

Everyone has been busy here, clearly taking on a lot of work. I have seen this before in new home construction. Things get overlooked, not done at all, or flat forgotten about. I am thankful for James, our warranty contact, as he has done a lot for us. We have a long way to go to be fully happy, but we will get there. Praise The Lord for everyone’s hard work here, before, during, and after the builds.

Do notttt waste time and effort using there in-house financial resources, BRUCE. HE cost me lotsss of money and insensitives.

Emily is friendly, courteous and very professional. She works hard to make sure clients are happy and is always available to answer any questions that come up. We are so happy with the quality and layout of our Richmond American Home. The home and area are absolutely beautiful! We are truly loving it here!

The beginning was rough. But Jeremy ( RH )and Steve (loan officer)Jennifer (loan processor)step in where my own realtor fell out. The team that does the walk though was amazing!! If not for tough start due to someone leaving and pass-off of clients & miscommunication. I would've marked higher for overall experience. I would recommend.

Disappointed with having half bathroom floor dug up to repair issue with flange lodged in sewer piping. Vinyl floor material used in home is very poor qualify. Very disappointed with it.

She is awesome to work with. Extremely thorough, attentive, and follows through. She's communicative, and a problem solver.

We had a great sales representative, Allison at Tributary. She was so easy to work with and responded to all of our questions. On the warranty side, we still have some outstanding items that need to be addressed. Hopefully they will be completed soon.

From the beginning of our initial look to our final purchase, everyone was very friendly, courteous and explained every step of the process. Was knowledgeable about the homes and was straightforward (honest). You don’t find all those qualities in today’

Scott was great to work with and was always responsive to our requests. He cared more about our experience than our real estate agent. Walkthrough items didn't get completed before our move in date and we are still working through some issues. Overall, it is a good house and we are happy. Quality is not as we anticipated since their models looked much better than any other local builders.
