Overall purchasing from Richmond was a horrible decision and has been a nightmare. This was not my first time purchasing a house and I thought I was going a home with good company but the communication was horrible, fixing things were horrible and the staff were extremely rude.

This review is being written jointly by husband & wife but this form only allows for one name. As requested, it is being written as to what we would want a new home owner to know. Don't expect cohesive customer service from any team member from sales thru completion of build. Note: when you do punch list, add a note indicating other things may be discovered after moving in (i.e. plumbers failed to connect dishwasher hose/drain hose up causing flooding of cabinetry under kitchen counter; carpet installers failed to put carpet strips over tacks underneath carpet at entrance ways to tiled ...

Quality of work is horrific. It would not take much extra effort to do good work but nobody seems to care. Truly sad.

Told I could have fence when buying and when I followed procedure through HOA was told fences are not allowed. Covenant 6.15 on page 15 says fences are allowed. My well being and quality of life are diminished and I am sorry I bought here. The 60k I put down could have gone to more suitable place for my family. I am violated here and every time I walk by the model homes with the fence around them, I relive the violation.

I have had to loose four days of work and Im still counting because not all the work was done in a workmanship like manner (it was all subpar). I have photos if you would like. From day one...my yard was completely trashed, I had no hot water, the air was not working, the refrigerator was leaking heavily (they came out twice to fix it). The microwave was installed wrong and it is still not working properly (the vent is not working, this will be the 3rd trip and another day lost at work for me). The materials were bad. Worst Experience with Richmond

Not only were there delays along the way, the whole process was extremely unprofessional. Our inspector found two leaks prior to closing and they were less than accommodating. The first walk through was put on us as homeowners to point out deficiencies (which 30 days after closing 90% of the list has not even been discussed). Upon moving in we noticed a THIRD leak which was blamed on everything else and it took 3 plumbers to come in to identify and remedy the problem. Sewage came INTO our house from the toilet they left unattached AND we found roofing screws in our drain. Warranty said they ...
