During our build there was turnover in some key positions which led to delays, poor communication, and ultimately a disappointing final product. The unnecessary delays led to additional storage and alternative living expenses that added up. The poor communication led to a lack of accountability during the building process, and this became evident when the final product was made available. At closing, the house was incomplete and lacked the level of pride and craftsmanship one would expect for a home in this price range. Overall purchasing from Richmond was a horrible decision and has been a nightmare. This was not my first time purchasing a house and I thought I was going a home with good company but the communication was horrible, fixing things were horrible and the staff were extremely rude.

This review is being written jointly by husband & wife but this form only allows for one name. As requested, it is being written as to what we would want a new home owner to know. Don't expect cohesive customer service from any team member from sales thru completion of build. Note: when you do punch list, add a note indicating other things may be discovered after moving in (i.e. plumbers failed to connect dishwasher hose/drain hose up causing flooding of cabinetry under kitchen counter; carpet installers failed to put carpet strips over tacks underneath carpet at entrance ways to tiled ...

I have had to loose four days of work and Im still counting because not all the work was done in a workmanship like manner (it was all subpar). I have photos if you would like. From day one...my yard was completely trashed, I had no hot water, the air was not working, the refrigerator was leaking heavily (they came out twice to fix it). The microwave was installed wrong and it is still not working properly (the vent is not working, this will be the 3rd trip and another day lost at work for me). The materials were bad.
