Had a few minor details with the new home, they were taken care off but still waiting on some issues. Water pressure upstairs bathrooms very low need improvement on that. Outside HOA hadn’t taken care of couple of dead plants and sprinklers hoses sticking out of the ground. It needs mulching and trash debri cleaned up

This was my first time buying a home, and they made sure to educate me and guide me through the entire process, making the transaction smooth. The financial team also did a great job. If you are a first-time homebuyer, you should definitely consider them. Whatever they told me at the start was exactly what I spent and received in the end.

I was pleased with the whole process. The sales team made us feel like VIPs. They sent fotos of the home at every step. The experience was smooth. I would recommend this builder to any one who wants a new home without issues.

Buying this home was a breeze. Every team member that had a part in my purchase made it simple. I was informed along the way what to expect and when to expect it. There were no delays once the purchase agreement was made. The walk through and closing was quick. It did take some time to complete some of the issues from the walk through but there is only1 item from the list to be completed.

Austin was a pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgeable and Very friendly. He answered any and all questions I asked. He made himself available and always returned calls or texts. He kept me up to date once a week during the building process and even sent pictures. I would highly recommend him to my friends or family looking for a new home. He is an asset to this company for sure.

The selling staff was great. Always on top of any situation. After buying, the customer service for service calls is a little difficult to work with. But overall a good experience

My realtor and the sales lady Samantha was great. However, the builder was never at any of my walk through. He was not aware of all the issues that I was told would be fixed. The house was just built and the foundation in the garage is cracked up everywhere. They tried to say it’s settlement without looking at it. How would a new house be settling before I moved in? The windows have cracks around them from drywall not done correctly and the paint is wiping off simply by touching it on every corner wall. The details you get for the price of the home is better than any other home we saw.

From my initial research, Richmond American was not the top choice as a builder. Internet reviews indicated quality issues in other developments throughout the U.S. After talking to some of the residents of Lakeview Forest, I decided to take the risk. Happy to say my experience has been very good. From the Sales Office Staff (Austin & Lizzy) to the project manager (Carl) were responsive to any questions I had. The weekly updates with pictures were excellent. My only bad experience resulted from dealing with your affiliated insurance company. I am pleased with my overall experience. Moved in just days before the hurricane, and to my surprise, the home held very well. Some water was entered through the ventilation system, but nothing to complaint about.

When I was placed on contract for my home, the building process moved very slowly. After some adjustments, things seemed to get back on track. However, I am not pleased with the limited customization, such as adding additional speakers, a swimming pool, a fence, etc., to the mortgage. During inspections and closing, the enthusiasm to make the necessary fixes was apparent, but some things did not get done. I'm still waiting for my driveway to be cleaned because my final walk-thru was on a rainy day.

Definitely a rush job to complete as many homes as possible. Kind of sad companies get away with this stuff. Most of the contractors in the neighborhood dont have company cars, no company outfits.. Literally just dudes off the street. I can go on and on as to the problems we've experience but I dont want to write an essay here. Most of our problems would have been resolved if whoever is reviewing the work of others wasn't content with mediocrity.

Salesperson, David and the construction supervisor, Bob are the only persons I can say, WOW they are amazingly amazing!!!! Responsible, responded in timely manners, kind, friendly… I can’t really finish the list of how incredible person they are, God bless them!

Overall I can say we love our Richmond American home. However the buying experience did not go as smoothly as I imagined it to be when it came down to closing. Our house was definitely not ready to close on our closing date. I was pushed back once already for a stairwell railing replacement due to the wrong railing installed. I wish I could of delayed our closing again due to the fact our house was very dirty on our closing date. My first 2 days of owning the house was spent cleaning the entirety of the house from dust and dirt. It took several repeats of deep cleaning to remove dirt and excess paint off the LVO and carpet. Something that should not of happened and did take away the excitement of moving into a new home. I did hire a 3rd party inspection in which found a few major and several cosmetic issues. Major issues were repaired but had still had several other cosmetic issues needing to be repaired that was not completed prior to closing. Management did complete almost all cosmetic items in a timely manner after settlement. We have had multiple issues regarding irrigation pipes leaking but they have been addressed. The grass that is placed throughout the property and community is Bahia. Bahia grass so far has been low maintenance but our grass was not watered regularly when placed prior to settling. Majority of the grass in the front yard is very patchy along with the countless nails and metal fragments that is constantly being found. I have yet to walk barefoot on my own grass without the fear of stepping on a rusted nail. ... More
