Tengo más de un mes mudado acá y todavía tengo detalles por reparar algunos los he tenido que hacer yo como por ejemplo la pintura, pero hay detalles en los gabinetes del baño en los marcos de las puertas en las baldosas del baño, detalles que no debería tener una casa nueva

GET EVERYTHING DONE BEFORE CLOSING, even punch list items that they promise will get done asap because even these have been an absolute pain in the rear to get taken care of. And you think that's hard, warranty is absolute garbage, you have to get the top manager involved or you won't be getting a response. I wish we had not rushed final closing, and delayed closing like some of our neighbors did, because we are over a month from when we closed and are still waiting for punch list items to be finished. Desde el día uno que nos mudamos se nos va la corriente en la cocina se nos dañó todo lo d esa nevera hicimos el reporte y hasta hoy 12/31/2023 no han solucionado el problema sin decir que el piso tiene detalles la alfonbra de la escalera tiene pintura en los bordes las manillas absolutamente todas las tocaba y te quedaban en las manos allí la reglamos como pudimos ya que eso no puede esperar y lo podíamos hacer lo d de la electricidad se escapa de nuestras manos para resolverlo. Y la grama no la colocaron la tiraron por ende no está lisa está con muros ósea montaña pequeña y no hablar que cuesta que las pocetas o inodoros descarguen de forma eficiente realmente quería una casa pero no pensé que podía tener tantos problemas siendo nueva y lo peor es que no te ayudan a resolverlo el problema de electricidad es grave y aún así no han podido solucionar ... You would think buying a new construction would save you alot of headache amd give you piece if mind but it's the complete opposite for me. Too many issues from a leaking roof, leaking hot water tank, garage door replacement, back sliding door that wouldn't lock, unpainted stucco, shaking tiles in the master bath and appliances that were not hooked up. I still have to check the dishwasher. We made note of most of these on the final walk-through and were assured they would be addressed by the time we had keys. We've had to chase Richmond homes down for almost two months to address these as promised. I had to stalk the superintendent. The home warranty specialist has yet to see us as promised. We were told it would happen within 30 days or so after closing, it been almost two months. Bottom line is the build was rushed hence poor workmanship. I mean just yesterday they had to replace a vent and duct in the attic and roof because it was leaking everytime it rained. I had to keep a bucket in my bathroom to catch the rain.while they are better than DR Horton and Lennar, you still have to pay attention to the work. The worst part is they forget your after the closing. If you dint stay on top of them you'll be stuck with issues and your warranty will run out. With all the issues I've had still discovering I just wish that my home warranty person Ashley would communicate with us so we can resolve and move on with our lives and enjoy our home. I don't like to bother people but I paid alot of money for a brand new house and everything should be in working order as promised. If you buy with Richmond pay attention and stay on top of them. I understand that things will need fixing here and there and it's nice that they give you a warranty but I would say responsiveness and communication after closing is a serious problem. ... More

Very bad and warranty long process And quality of materials very low

Awesome sales staff. Terrible build experience. Lots of promises and lip service from the superintendent. No one comes back after closing to address issues.

My case went from first lot flooded and they did not tell me anything at all when I noticed i had to request a lot change they have very bad communication for the closing the house has a lot of details to be fixed thru warranty request and still yet had not contact me after the superintendent told me he would take care of it he later backup and ask for a warranty request lack of compromise just wont recommend them at all really let them be your last option

They will over promise and under deliver. Everything was a quick fix during the walk around but they waited a month after closing and my consistent follow up to start making repairs that were supposed to be done prior to closing and then postponed by the builder to the week after closing. To name a few: -water hoses in the washer are cross connected -unable to use a broken tub for a month now and builder is MIA. -they show you better quality appliances and then go with the cheapest. -a door doesn't latch - ceiling was not properly painted -floor has stains -house wasn't cleaned. AC filter was not replaced as promised. -Appliances has dents, and scratches, same with sliding doors. Windows stained with glue or paint. The lack of care is obvious. Listing out all the issues and horrible customer service we experienced would do nothing for anyone. So, save yourself the time and heartache and DO NOT BUY A RICHMOND AMERICAN HOME. Take your hard earned money and spend it somewhere else. All the reviews are true. Horrible craftsmanship, quality is cheap and customer services (after they take your money) is less than stellar. You've been warned. DON'T DO IT!

Since starting the process with Richmond American homes it has been a nightmare. The only good person i meet was the Sales agent, everyone after him has been horrible. I have been living in my home a month and I still cant get the company to fix all the all the problem I have in. these are problem that have been mentioned since I did my initial walkthrough of the home. If I could get out of my loan and go find another builder I will do it in a heartbeat. Since I signed the final paperwork i have been treated as if I don't exist at all. Now I have to figure out on my own hope to fix the problems in my home because after multiple emails ignored by their customer care team, I have to start coming out of pocket because my family safety is my only priority. ...
