Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable during and after our our purchase at The Seasons at Round Hill Meadows.

The people involved in process were great! Moving in hasn’t been great! Already having appliance and plumbing issues! My biggest disappointment is that our house is the ONLY one in the neighborhood without windows at the top of garage door! For the money we’re paying, I don’t understand why we’re the only unit without windows in the garage!

With this gorgeous home its fit for a family raising kids. It is my first time and I didn't feel uncomfortable because everything was explained. So, I appreciate all that was involved.

The homebuying process was handled with professionalism and care from start to finish. Communication was clear, timely, and thorough, and I always felt well-informed. Every detail—from property search to closing—was managed efficiently, making the experience smooth and stress-free. I would confidently recommend their services to anyone purchasing a home.

High-quality workmanship and materials. Everything is great until you close. But the final walkthrough was not great; they didn’t deliver or fix all the touch-ups. They were nice until you signed the tour dues sheet. After that, the response was poor and communication was unclear. You have to follow up a lot. I recommend not signing the tour dues sheet until 100% of the work is done. The closing experience was okay, not great.

Buying experience was very positive including the walk-thrus however items not completed remain unfinished after follow up.

Workmanship is bad..very bad, people who is in charge to help you, for example the super intendent of project bad, need to hire people who really wants to help the costumers needs. A lot of issues in a brand new home, still waiting for response..very bad experience.

We didn’t build, but we purchased a new Richmond American home and have been extremely happy with the quality and design. The layout is thoughtful, the finishes are beautiful, and everything feels solid and well-made. I absolutely love the sunroom! The sales team was wonderful and very responsive. Great value and a great home!

Home buying process was not good. Their lender was terrible and I had zero communication with sales rep declined and a few things he described were inaccurate. He also didn't tell me about the upcoming inventory. Their site project manager was the saving grace. Two weeks after signing we had a huge leak, thankfully we were connected to a plumber and they stopped it but it took builder a month to fix under the warranty (thank goodness for a warranty). Having been here in the house for a month I think there the ceilings are horrendous and look like we've been here longer some of the materials used do give cheap too. The house buying process was overall smooth and without difficulty however; there are still some unresolved issues with the house that haven't been addressed in a satisfactory time frame. Hopefully Richmond Amercian will come through with their end of the deal and fix the requests I submit. Again, I am happy with Paul and John for their help in these matters.

Angela was fantastic through the whole process. Donnie was excellent revolving any issues.

The purchasing process was AMAZING! However some of the appliances were or are still defective or damaged! Some of the shrubs are dead and have not been replaced the Patio door only works on one side and will not lock! There are some cosmetic issues as well! The concrete is still red from the mud in the area. I was promised it would be cleaned however the homes around me that have not sold have all had their concrete pressure washed and they passed right by me! Have a defective window and was told a new one was ordered before we moved it! Still has not been replaced! I am pretty easy going but getting very frustrated with the lack of response to the issues! ... More

The home has premium finishes and is a good value, especially using the builder's mortgage subsidiary. The buying process was pretty smooth, but very rushed with timeline and the time you have for walk-throughs. You also cannot go with a home inspector to the home and the inspector must be approved by the builder. You are pressured into using subsidiaries for financing and insurance. While there is some misleading marketing pressure, those companies are not responsive. The punchout list was completed, but some finishing touches could have used more care. We also were missing a screendoor and the brackets for a pre-installed TV mount. We've been told the screendoor will be installed when they're back in the community, but the phone number provided to install the TV does not work and the company we were told to use has not responded when we tried a number we found on their website. Overall, we are very happy with the value and love our new home and community. Just expect some minor bumps along the way and a rushed closing process. ... More

Great home quality enhancements

Angel, the lender from the loan side, was absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful, did not communicate well at all with myself or my realtor. I did request to deal with another person who could better answer my questions without telling me how good they were, or how long they've been in the industry. I requested to speak with a manager, was told I would get to, and still had unwarranted phone calls from Angel. I would still like someone to follow up on this process and let these concerns be heard. Worst experience I've ever had, especially after putting hundreds of thousands of dollars down. The craftsmanship of the home was questionable at times. After my initial walk through, many things that were taped or pointed out for repair, were clearly not fixed, but the tape was removed. Lots of issues that needed to be addressed during the initial walk through. Poor quality craftsmanship with little detail to the finishing touches for a house that cost so much money. They scheduled a final walk through and lied to us saying that the majority of our initial issues had been addressed. Only for us to realize they had not addressed even half the issues. When we asked for another final walk through, as not much had changed from the initial walk through, they said no. Additionally, closing was rushed so they could meet their quota. We live in a different state and they set a date for closing and then changed it last minute. And they demanded the closing be pushed from a Monday to Friday of the same week, but refused to let us reschedule it for even following week, because they needed to meet their quota. Even though the closing was pushed because they had issues finishing the build. On top of that, they threatened us with late closing fees if we wanted to reschedule the closing for the following week. As mentioned earlier, we live in a different state and had already arranged our schedule to be there on Monday and weren’t able to take off work the week of (which is when we were told that closing was being rescheduled) and arrange an out of state trip. Our experience up to the that point had been great. But the way the walk through and closing were handled was very unprofessional and off putting. My driveway is not acceptable! It is already breaking up. I have NOT used salt on it.

For any new buyer, please make sure every conversation you have had to put it in writing, monitor and follow up. We were given the key of the house, that was not fully ready, filthy and missing items ( mirror, bathroom glass, window glass - FILTHY FLOORS). We had owned three houses, and this by far was the worst transition ever. PM on the community needs to learn how to communicate with owners on status of request.

Great experience. Excellent value for the home

Spec home. Highly disappointed in low end appliances and driveway. Rigid rules on walk-through for our situation was not pleasant. Several issues that need to be fixed. Lois and John were good to work with. We'll see how the post buy service is fixing the issues. So far nobody has reached out to ask how everything is. I would find another company besides Home Technology. HVAC isn't balanced. I could go on...

Overall, I would say I’m pretty pleased with Richmond American. We love our house and our neighborhood. Our sales associate was upfront and communicated well with us. I wish I didn’t have to use their lender, but that was the deal that we had to make to get a great rate. The initial and final walk-through of our house were excellent and everything was fixed and addressed. A few minor issues after that a call to the warranty hotline and they responded quickly. I have to say I’m impressed with Richmond, especially when it comes to the quality of the build and the service. Would definitely buy again and would definitely Buy in Abrams point. ... More

Wanda and Donnie worked great. The financial team of the house was not that great in the beginning but picked up along the way.
