The buying process was super simple! The hardest part was deciding which floor plan I wanted. The sales team was exceptional and answered all of my questions. I’ve only been in the house about a month now, but everything is working perfectly. There were a few minor touchups that needed to be done, mainly dings in the walls and such. But nothing major. Most of the discrepancies have already been fixed. The foreman has been super helpful and just a real pleasure to do business with. Have been very disappointed in the product I received for 700k. The workmanship is reminiscent of a lesser quality builder. Definitely will NOT purchase nor recommend a Richmond American home to anyone.

I would be willing to give perfect score and advise all to work with Richmond Homes if only my overall experience was better. For the price paid, I would expect better after closing customer service, better home/site engineering with less errors and a company that is willing to make customer happy with little effort. Unfortunately, as a buyer, at this stage, I can not recommend this builder due to after closing findings/issues they are unwilling to help. Sales people are helpful and good but it doesn't help much. We are enjoying our new home! Not very enjoyable to hear construction work at 6:30am in the morning while my kid is asleep but after the neighborhood is built that will go away.

I purchased a Coral model from Richmond American homes. Megan -Sales team was amazing! She was so helpful and made my home buying experience easy. I am happy with my new home. I love the layout, the quality of the home, and the neighborhood. I would recommend RAH to others.

I had a lot of moving pieces in my life and needed a house. Richmond American was there to fill that need. Our house is okay. It's an okay starter house. Workmanship is okay. There is some pretty mediocre tile work going down. Otherwise things are functional and overall acceptable. Acceptable is the key. I'm sure you didn't want this review. Maybe stop spamming my email with these requests. This was a reasonable review, I definitely could have submitted worse.

The on site personnel have been wonderful and very helpful.

The construction superintendent does not have any control over the subcontractors resulting in shoddy work and a frustrating purchase process. Finishes and materials are less than mediocre. Responsiveness from the builder is below standard.

I love the craftsmanship of my home. The 2 x 6 construction and design is great. The issue I have is with the sales rep Steven A. He out right lied to me and my realtor about the options for my house - specifically the windows in the basement. I spent a lot of money for several options that were important to me. I wanted to a full size window in an unfinished bedroom in the basement. I would have paid to have a regular size window put in and he said that I would get a regular sized window as I do stained glass & need the light as well as ventilation. The day they poured the foundation, I came by and found a small window in that room. My realtor was sitting right next to me when we went over the house details so I have her as a witness when I went through the options for my house. I am so disappointed and angry at the sales rep, Steven A, because he knew how important this feature was but totally disregarded my wishes. If he would have told me it’s extra, I would have paid for it, so in the end, he missed out on extra money for his commission. Otherwise a sinkhole has developed above my sewer pipe leading to my house and the backyard is not graded per the plan. Part of the backyard is always wet due to insufficient fall and grading to the backyard. They emailed me back on 7/17 saying due to staffing changes there is a significant backlog. Davine has been exceptional throughout the entire process of the buying process. However on the backside of the sale the company has been very slow to correct the final walkthrough issues. It has been a month since move in and there are still items not corrected

Having a ready made Home was key to our needs. Moving out of State was an important step in finding our next home as quickly as possible.

The home buying experience itself was great. Lois was a blessing to work with and the process for me and my wife was as easy as can be. The craftsmanship of the home is where I have the issue. Multiple things built poorly and we are currently awaiting our 30 day inspection so that we can get these critical items fixed and have yet to hear from them on when this inspection will take place. Stairs and floors built poorly, drywall is patchy, windows aren’t sealed and the list goes on. I’m just hoping that they correct their poor craftsmanship at this point so that we can enjoy our home.
