Davine has been exceptional throughout the entire process of the buying process. However on the backside of the sale the company has been very slow to correct the final walkthrough issues. It has been a month since move in and there are still items not corrected

The home buying experience itself was great. Lois was a blessing to work with and the process for me and my wife was as easy as can be. The craftsmanship of the home is where I have the issue. Multiple things built poorly and we are currently awaiting our 30 day inspection so that we can get these critical items fixed and have yet to hear from them on when this inspection will take place. Stairs and floors built poorly, drywall is patchy, windows aren’t sealed and the list goes on. I’m just hoping that they correct their poor craftsmanship at this point so that we can enjoy our home.

Wanda and Donnie worked great. The financial team of the house was not that great in the beginning but picked up along the way.

We are enjoying our new home! Not very enjoyable to hear construction work at 6:30am in the morning while my kid is asleep but after the neighborhood is built that will go away.

The sales agent Terri was the best! She helped me throughout the entire process. I was out of state and she called me almost everyday to give me updates, send pictures of the home, video called me to do a virtual tour and more. Zurich, the builders superintendent was also helpful. Any questions I had he answered and even after I purchased the home, he’s still assisting me with no problem.

First time buying a brand new house, I thought I could customize which wasn’t the case. We start the house from scratch and they told us, they already ordered everything, so no changes. However, we love the house despite some requests that they were not able to adjust. We worked with Steven, the saler, he is very knowledgeable and always available whenever we needed him even now. I will recommend Richmond American Homes. Also they have a great APR that you will never found anywhere. That’s the big reason we chose them. Thank you

Terri's exceptional customer service has undoubtedly created a lasting impression and will make me return for future help without hesitation.

Have been very disappointed in the product I received for 700k. The workmanship is reminiscent of a lesser quality builder. Definitely will NOT purchase nor recommend a Richmond American home to anyone.

The home is very advanced compared to other home builders. Would recommend builder as starter home.

I had a lot of moving pieces in my life and needed a house. Richmond American was there to fill that need. Our house is okay. It's an okay starter house. Workmanship is okay. There is some pretty mediocre tile work going down. Otherwise things are functional and overall acceptable. Acceptable is the key. I'm sure you didn't want this review. Maybe stop spamming my email with these requests. This was a reasonable review, I definitely could have submitted worse.

Spec home. Highly disappointed in low end appliances and driveway. Rigid rules on walk-through for our situation was not pleasant. Several issues that need to be fixed. Lois and John were good to work with. We'll see how the post buy service is fixing the issues. So far nobody has reached out to ask how everything is. I would find another company besides Home Technology. HVAC isn't balanced. I could go on...

I love the craftsmanship of my home. The 2 x 6 construction and design is great. The issue I have is with the sales rep Steven A. He out right lied to me and my realtor about the options for my house - specifically the windows in the basement. I spent a lot of money for several options that were important to me. I wanted to a full size window in an unfinished bedroom in the basement. I would have paid to have a regular size window put in and he said that I would get a regular sized window as I do stained glass & need the light as well as ventilation. The day they poured the foundation, I came by and found a small window in that room. My realtor was sitting right next to me when we went over the house details so I have her as a witness when I went through the options for my house. I am so disappointed and angry at the sales rep, Steven A, because he knew how important this feature was but totally disregarded my wishes. If he would have told me it’s extra, I would have paid for it, so in the end, he missed out on extra money for his commission. Otherwise a sinkhole has developed above my sewer pipe leading to my house and the backyard is not graded per the plan. Part of the backyard is always wet due to insufficient fall and grading to the backyard. They emailed me back on 7/17 saying due to staffing changes there is a significant backlog. Sloppy craftsmanship, construction and slow to respond to request for fixing issues.

The Sales staff lacks professionalism, is very unresponsive to any issue or concern. Where they rate higher is their Superintendent who takes great care during the building process and after.

I was not happy with communication about the progress of my house, I did not get weekly updates, and I was not oriented properly. things that we pointed out was not fixed at closing

We have had several problems noted at walk through that have not been fixed! Hard to get anyone here to fix them without taking off days from works.

I absolutely regret purchasing this home. This is my 5th new build and hands-down, the worst quality. There are so many issues with the home and it’s like pulling teeth to get them fixed. I HATE THIS HOUSE.

Lots of issues that needed to be addressed during the initial walk through. Poor quality craftsmanship with little detail to the finishing touches for a house that cost so much money. They scheduled a final walk through and lied to us saying that the majority of our initial issues had been addressed. Only for us to realize they had not addressed even half the issues. When we asked for another final walk through, as not much had changed from the initial walk through, they said no. Additionally, closing was rushed so they could meet their quota. We live in a different state and they set a date for closing and then changed it last minute. And they demanded the closing be pushed from a Monday to Friday of the same week, but refused to let us reschedule it for even following week, because they needed to meet their quota. Even though the closing was pushed because they had issues finishing the build. On top of that, they threatened us with late closing fees if we wanted to reschedule the closing for the following week. As mentioned earlier, we live in a different state and had already arranged our schedule to be there on Monday and weren’t able to take off work the week of (which is when we were told that closing was being rescheduled) and arrange an out of state trip. Our experience up to the that point had been great. But the way the walk through and closing were handled was very unprofessional and off putting. Angel, the lender from the loan side, was absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful, did not communicate well at all with myself or my realtor. I did request to deal with another person who could better answer my questions without telling me how good they were, or how long they've been in the industry. I requested to speak with a manager, was told I would get to, and still had unwarranted phone calls from Angel. I would still like someone to follow up on this process and let these concerns be heard. Worst experience I've ever had, especially after putting hundreds of thousands of dollars down. The craftsmanship of the home was questionable at times. After my initial walk through, many things that were taped or pointed out for repair, were clearly not fixed, but the tape was removed. Overall this has been an exhausting process. There were so many issues wrong with the house. You would think paying over $700K for a home would get you more. Materials are cheap. I will never buy another RA home, and I will not be recommending your homes to anyone looking to purchase.
