What a Great home buying experience. Everyone was absolutely wonderful. The sells team (Sammy) The home loan team (Taylor and Jenna). I have owned 10 homes. This team gets things done and fast. There were a few negative reviews on line. I have had a couple of issues with a few items. But there's nothing to complain about. The items are appliances, the house is great. Thank you everyone. I love my new home.

We moved in about 5 weeks ago. Rob was very helpful during the purchase. Carlos has been wonderful in addressing minor issues that need attention. He communicates very well and we are very appreciative of that. Cris has been great and helping us with our yard. We had a plant die in the front yard and it has already been replaced. Everyone has been very nice and our home is beautiful.

Ryan was very responsive during the buying process. Made the whole process easy and responded to all my questions.

So far everything has been great! Stacey our realtor was amazing! Hector has been great too. Although we are still waiting for things that the builders didn’t fix before we moved in.

Richmond team works great throughout the process, everything is well taking care of and meet most of my expectation.

all are good but when we reported water leaks of all the bathroom sinks we expected someone to urgently come and fix it. Then next day a lady came and said they don't cover the leaking problem, said it is regular for leaking because the house is new. We are very confused and didn't believe that new house should have this leaking problem as regular. The houses we purchased from other builders don't have such a "regular" leaking problem. The lady left without doing anything to stop the leaking.

Got a good deal on builder closeout. there were some issues but nothing major.

The house is very nice, beautiful design, interior, and exterior. However, I wish they clean inside more throughly. There are area were not throughly clean, scratches, stains from working on the house, and scratch on the appliances. When the buyer wants to buy, we expect the brand new place spotless.

I have previously bought under a different builder and any issues with the property was addressed timely but this builder Richmond American do not address any issues at all. I am missing items that was promised and I cannot get them to respond timely.

From the very beginning, walking into the office, Jessica was inviting and knowledgeable. Very professional in dealings with me, as I was in la la land. Everyone was responsive to any questions or concerns that I had, this is including Home American Lending. The quality of the builds, for the price range I am in, is unmatched by other builders. Any issues that arose was probably because of my situation, retiring and purchasing at the same time. The builds are actually remarkable. This neighborhood in particular is going to be smaller, and is really diverse, which is truly appreciated. In closing, everyone involved from start to finish worked diligently, answered all questions, and seemed to be rooting for me through all this twists and turns of the home buying experience. We have had a few things pop up since we moved in. Sometimes Jennifer is responsive quickly, other times not. I’m assuming she’s busy. The paint on the floor is frustrating. Was told that it’s water based, by Angel, and should just come right up. It takes elbow grease to get it off. Otherwise we are pretty happy here.

The loan process was the most cumbersome that we have every experienced

While waiting for our home to be built, we watched too many YouTube videos about new homebuyer horror stories. Thankfully, that was not the case for us. Through the building of our home, we visited the site weekly, sometimes more frequently. Anything we saw during and between our formal walkthroughs was quickly addressed by our Sales rep and Building Supervisor. They readily responded to emails, calls, and text messages. Even while visiting another Richmond American home development, the Sales Rep gave us updates on our home and shared photos of its progression. During our next to last walkthrough we were asked repeatedly to open and close doors, turn on faucets, turn on and off every light switch. Our Sales rep even stood outside with us waiting for the last minute repairs to be done so escrow could close and to give us our keys on schedule. Even after our closing, the Building Supervisor has been responsive to our calls and texts. The one star ding regarding responsiveness to our issues is due to our not having heard back after submitting our list of repairs 10-days after our move in. To date post move in repairs are minimal. Quality. Good craftsmanship. The Builder team very polite and professional.

It was great working with Henry, he has been accommodating. I believer the in-house lenders need to work in their communication as well as tone towards their customers.

The American Home that I bought is beautiful and I love it of course the model had all the nice things in it. One of my pet pees is the master bathroom has no linen closet one linen closet in a three bed room house. The dish washer was not working their was a lot of blame to go around the GE to the builder no one was responsible two weeks later no dish washer it was the builder crew who did not hook it up also GE came out and they could not see what the problem was and it's there product.

I understand timing is everything. I was tired of living in a tiny apartment after I retired from the military. Why is it so hard to find an affordable house. Oh well, like the title implies, a good home at a tough time. There are areas of the house you can tell were rushed, the bath tub was scratched when it was installed, the frame doesn't line up near the entrance door, the ceiling was sagging in the master bedroom. You guys sold a $300 thousand dollar house for half a million dollars, at least you could have taken your time. Could have at least astro-turfed the backyard so it keeps the HOA off our backs. Stuffs expensive right now and needing to put in blinds, fans and a backyard takes a tole on any bank account. Anyway, I still love having a house and the energy efficiency is noticeable in the early summer months. ... More

The builder did a good job on the essentials of the home, however they did not give attention to detail to a myriad of issues that are not covered by the 1-year warranty.
