Cindy DeValle may the whole experience great without the purchase would have never happened John made walk through easy. The old saying you get what you pay for. I think quality on products in house could be better than what you represent in retail numbers you have a huge buying power for your products. Also your 24 hour policy is terrible with closing escrow arranging move un your expected to get problems reported and then you say it takes 10 days to schedule for problem to get resolve. The overall buying experience was great. Some minor issues with communication but that was fixed. The one thing bothering me now is I have submitted a work order of the things not fixed from the final walk through and now 30+ days. I still have not heard from anyone to come and fix these issues. My dishwasher currently does not work and has not worked since day 1.

Dead Tree and Plants

I have been trying for weeks to get a dead tree and plants replace they said they are not under warranty! This is poor service for a house we paid $500 thousand for. What a scam.

Bad customer service with build/warranty issues

During our final walk we had a list of things that were wrong. Only half of them were resolved. Head contractor didn’t seem to care about the issues that were not fixed. We were unable to get a hold of him after that day. We had to contact home warranty people to have someone else come over and fix some issues. Shouldn’t the final acceptance form half to be signed and the customer satisfied before you release the home?? This never happened. To this day we have never signed off the final walk paperwork. Terrible!

Follow up issues after close

The building process was very good. The follow up after has not been as good. We did not receive any training on how to operate our appliances. Now that we are here, we are unable to register with the home warrantee company, and are having an issue with at least one appliance.

A lot of missing finish part their job. Many mistakes. It looks obviously tried to finish building real quick. Many spots are not perfect compare to other homes. Very disappointed that price i paid. Area, design looks good. But thats it. If its 1-2 or 5 spots r not cleaned finish is okay, But so many things that they built wrong. very very disappointed . But i have no choice. L

The salesperson in the office was very nice and helpful prior to moving in. However, I found an issue with construction regarding our property. I called the office to check on the warranty and to fix this problem but they never responded back to me. I am very disappointed with the response and still after all this time no one has responded back.

Warranty issues

Great home but didn’t feel at home with issues and things needed to be fixed. Yes we might of missed a few things during walk through but I feel that the house should have been up to standards with Richmond quality homes. I’ve own a Richmond home before and know the service, quality, and issues resolved can be better. It’s frustrating waiting for a timeframe to have warranty issues scheduled with no shows or communication. We have had multiple issues with the warranty representative.

Our sales person, Dionne was helpful and responsive. Our designer Lisa was great and addressed our issues. Our Super, Mike, awful! Doesn’t know how to talk to customers, was rude and not helpful at all. Lots of issues between construction. Oswaldo from home warranty has been great to work with, but overall the house has a lot of issues that are being addressed and fixed. Just taking a lot of time to get completed.

I wanted to wait to write this review, after being in the home for a liitle. Overall experience was good, Erik in the office was great no issues, always took our calls and our questions. Our biggest problem is all of the finish work that was completed or not really completed. Alot of stuff was just touched up quickly so that they could close the house. Our baseboards/trim and walls are probably the worst; uneven and rushed. We still have people coming back to fix things; it just takes so long even though we've paid and we are in our home. Be prepared to moved in and have trades in an out of your home for the first few months. Everyone is very nice, but after you move in you will notice blemishes and issues that may have you questioning the workmanship and value of your home. The good news, you have a 1-year warranty to ensure trades come in to fix issues (but read the fine print).

The home buying process was overwhelming but they were always there to respond to any questions we had. Only thing that I would recommend is more security, Our home was broken into a couple days after closing and unfortunately our appliances was stolen. So it ruined our homebuying experience.

Beautiful homes and neighborhood as the title suggests. We bought our first home in NV and coming from the east coast. Little issues here and there but took the home care team 3-6 weeks to resolve the issues. Shower rod for 1 of our bathrooms was forgotten and didn’t get to use it for almost 1 month until I called Corporate Center. Otherwise we’ve been happy with our purchase.

Window is cracked already and I have to wait a month for a replacement. Paint is poorly done with drip marks all over. All the screws in the house are lose. The stucco is coming off already. The floor makes noise and it’s not even level. This house was built too quickly and with poor attention to detail.

SAD AND DISAPPOINTING

Tried contacting Homewaranty for issue with pin holes in the floor grouting all over my new home, I acknowledge of being a Holiday weeks and was given 10 working days for replies until up to date. No respond from the Honewaranty and we're unable to properly moved my furniture until the grout problems is resolved.. POOR RESPONS FROM RICHMOND AMERICAN TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUES..
