The sales rep was very open and honest. She let us know all the incentives. The loan officer was super helpful in addressing our financial needs. The loan processor was responsive and knowledgeable. The home service specialist was responsive and thorough. The overall homebuying experience with Richmond American Homes was excellent. It took only 17 days from the time I toured the house until closing escrow!

I was shocked to see that I was able to get into a brand new build since I was buying by myself. Hattie was amazing giving me the tour, talking about how everything worked & how the process would go. She helped me loosely crunch some numbers to show me what my mortgage would be. I never felt pressured to buy or fill out paperwork on the spot, which I really liked! We messaged a few times before I went back in to officially start the process. Various discrepancies with the home, He was attentive and is going to get them all fixed.

The sales and build team were amazing here in Jurupa Valley! Lawrence was attentive and consistent with communications from the very first meeting and walkthrough. Gus did a great job with my walkthroughs and explained everything with my new house. Gustavo has been a lifesaver from the day I got my keys to now, answering questions about the home and advice about maintenance. Gustavo even brought over a plant to place in our front yard. I'm so glad to be calling this my new home.

Brenda was incredible. She went out of her way to make sure that any opportunities or challenges were settled quickly--even when she was on vacation. She is a stellar representative. Joey was also quite helpful to make sure the house was ready. Unfortunately, there were a few things that were not ready. The warranty service is terrific, but the 4 hour window for repairs is not conducive for working people. The overall quality of the home is quite good. The dishwasher however is quite cheap. The "stainless steel" door is plastic. Love the gas range!

From start to finish, Richmond American Homes has proven to be an exceptional National builder. The quality and workmanship are well above average and include so many features that make them move-in ready! There are beautiful floor plans to choose from and we quickly fell in love with one that gave us everything we needed. Our sales manager, Realtor, and site super were all easy to communicate with and helped to make the whole process even better. We can’t say enough good about this experience!

We very much like our home now that we are moved in however: we were give major misinformation and promised things in the sales process that couldn't be delivered in the actual agreement; preclosing fixes still have not been completed even though we have now been in the house 30 days, many excuses are quickly given when issues arise but action is slow.

The reason I am writing this letter is for the falling reason: is to let you know that I wasn’t in agreement to pay the extra amount of money ( $5200) I was charged for delaying the closing, pushing the walk and also to refuse to sing that I was blamed for. I have all the text and emails from rager Martin from Home American mortgage corporation and also Myrna Leano Scrow officer . I was submitting everything both asked for it which was quite many requests and I signed the day after I was approved for my loan. My question to the builder is would he give me the house key before my loan was approved, I don’t think so. So where was my delay, it would not matter how soon I did the house walk I was not approved for my loan . I have all messages and emails. We all should have ethics and procedures to run business like this and deal with people . ... More

The Agent was straight forward and honest. He worked hard to accommodate my request for changes in the new home. It was about as stressful free as you can get buying a new home.

High-quality workmanship and materials. Everything is great until you close. But the final walkthrough was not great; they didn’t deliver or fix all the touch-ups. They were nice until you signed the tour dues sheet. After that, the response was poor and communication was unclear. You have to follow up a lot. I recommend not signing the tour dues sheet until 100% of the work is done. The closing experience was okay, not great.

It took the painter a month to come back and paint the trim they missed and the front door. Still waiting for the screen door people to come by a adjust the screen door. Waiting to hear back from dishwasher installer to come back and level the dishwasher so the door doesnt keep flying open.

They made the home buying process very easy and were true to every word, no surprises at all along the way!

We bought a spec home with a lot of imperfections including several bent and crooked walls (very obvious to see at first glance) sloppy overspray and cabinets all need adjusting. The home itself is beautiful but sloppy craftsmanship with the subs being utilized on the spec home. Customer service is doing their best to fix everything

Sales officer disappeared before closing. Obtained our keys for the model from another sales associate. Repairs still pending 4 weeks from closing. Poor quality craftsmanship on all trades. Greatly disappointed!

Quality homes and great neighborhood.

Josh was fantastic. There were a few hiccups. It wasn't a great experience but it wasn't bad. House is great. Process felt really pushy so it was annoying to have to sort of block that off a bit. Overall Josh was great. Process was mediocre from a customer service perspective. Our home is awesome.

Buying experience was very positive including the walk-thrus however items not completed remain unfinished after follow up.

Our home buying experience with Richmond American Homes leaves us with warm feelings toward this builder and its team at the Kokanee Estates community in Lake Stevens, WA. The seller realtor we worked with, the wonderful Lia, gave us all the time and attention we wanted and chased down answers to questions beyond those she already knew. We made several repeat visits to the home and Lia welcomed us in those visits. Lia worked well to make our contingency purchase happen. We are impressed with the quality of the build, and the finish of the details, of the home itself. We rave about the spacious ceilings and the one-story design that meets our desires. In a surprising turn, the builders made a shift in design just to accommodate a hope we had that was not in the plan for this particular house, a change they made at no cost to us. Richmond gave us the opportunity to finally become homeowners in our late 40s. The process was seamless and from start to finish, between sales to loan officer to underwriters, to everything in between, we couldn’t have had a better experience.

We have recently purchased a house from Richmond. We’ve had a smooth process and we’re very happy with the results. Richmond were keeping us informed about everything and explained the whole process clearly. They were being responsive and helpful. The house itself is very nice and the great material was used! We’re very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to buy a house!

It was a less expensive starter home and a quick build. You can see where corners were cut. But expected that going in. Sales rep "stretched" some details about the buying process which forced me to double check everything. Building superintendent James was great.
