Buying a Richmond American home was trouble free and responsive home builder that I had used. The sales and construction team are responsive with any questions we have had, for example we had the A/C subcontractor on site in a reasonable amount of time for warranty work. They do follow up on claims for us. The construction Maneger is on site during the weekdays that makes our claims process much more responsive. All in all it was a great home buying experience.

We accomplished this from Arizona. The Richmond team was not only extremely helpful handling the moving pieces for the project internally, but was very helpful roping in our agent on the ground and making sure all our questions were addressed in a timely manner. Some minor hiccups with the mortgage team regarding updates and clear communications which were resolved as we got closer to the closing date. The quality of build is top notch. Every corner, face, and foundational component has been expertly finished. Many new changes in the way homes are built. Your house construction is amazing. All corners are exact 90 degree. Very good attention to detail. House is very energy efficient. Happy we bought it.

The process was fairly smooth. My realtor rep helped me through the process and answered all the questions that I had. It was real quick and organized. I like how they have the home buying structure so that you can keep up with all the paperwork that you have to sign and send.

We are very pleased with our new home and how fast the Care Team at Richmond responded to some issues we had. Special thanks to Dustin, the Superintendent, who was super helpful and knowledgeable about the electrical problem we had. He fixed it in no time. Thank you Dustin!! We highly recommend Richmond to our friends and family. We just wished there were NO ASSOCIATIONS to deal with, other than that, we feel we made a very good decision to buy our home with Richmond.

Overall my experience was great. I’m very pleased with my home the area the work that was put in. Keep up the great work I would definitely in the near future purchase another home with them.!!!

Our sales agent Ricky Chase was nothing short of amazing. He explained everything very thoroughly and the whole process was smooth and seamless from start to finish. I was only disappointed in the final walk through the super Intendent was very lazy about getting things handled and done before move in so it put us behind. Throughout the entire build process Jordan and sales team provided beyond exceptional Customer service and were always available to answer any questions we had with positive attitudes no matter how often we bugged them. This sales team is what the standard should be when it comes to customer service excellence. Quality of the home is also great, Chase oversaw majority of our build, throughout his time at the carillon site he was also exceptional in ensuring the home stayed on track and maintained a high quality build standard and customer service excellence. Alex took over for chase at the end of the Build. Alex is always friendly and has a positive attitude and strives to keep a quality mindset. however there were some minor final details that were over looked and still pending repair. These issues were caught within 30 days of completion most were fixed before our first walk but 30 days after closing about 5 or 6 items still remain. And some new minor issues have been found. Our overall Experience with Richmond American homes has been phenomenal and we are grateful for the entire team in making our Dream home come to fruition. The people I had a chance to work with, Peter in sales and Abby in Home Design, are what made the experience the best possible. Peter checked in on me and kept encouraging me when I lost my job and the contract. I felt like it was a buddy checking in and not a sales guy hoping to close a sale. I felt that way because that’s what it was. He still texts me and makes sure everything is good. I made a friend. Abby made sure that she knew what our budget was and let us know the best place to go lower and places to just not go lower and the best quality for the price in all areas. She was great at saying wish for want you want in certain areas and delete it later. I’m glad I took her advice about the plugs in the bathrooms. I’m mad I didn’t take her advice about the plug in the closet. She’s right, I did end up putting my home office there… Then, George the PM was great for the walkthroughs and called in warranties on day one when things could not be fixed by the time of the walkthrough. I thought it would be a smoke and mirrors trick and he would have us eventually do the warranty claims. Then the cabinet people called. A week later the carpet people called. True to his word. ... The overall homebuying experience, quality of the workmanship, materials is good. Responsiveness to issues reported is pretty quick and we did not had any major issues except cosmetic issues after we moved in. We are very happy with Richmond American service

Finish painting not complete. Areas where a second cot of paint were needed didn't get taken care of after the walk through. other items such as doors not latching closed and sliding door adjustments ere needed and not taken care of after the initial walkthrough where they were identified. Now I have to file a warranty claim and that is inconvenient and time consuming. The office staff were great and tried to be helpful.

It would be most helpful if the salesman could provide a menu of all available options, along with the price of each option. It was difficult to find out which options were available, and how much they cost. We had to ask questions to discover what should’ve been transparent.

Loved the weekly updates on the status of our home as it was being built. The whole process was very easy and hassle free. Thank you for everything! We love our new home!

I came across Richmond by luck, on the MSL website. I had an awesome realtor couple Aurora/Hector. After seeing multiple homes and meeting sales people I went with Richmond. I will say that my sales Rep Lawrence since day one I met him was very pleasant. I say that because I am a first time buyer and I do not always match what I show on paper, if you know you know what I mean. Lawrence was the most informative, respectful, transparent, funny, knowledgeable sales rep I ran across. He let me ask all “non dumb” questions that every sales people were seemed annoyed to answer. Richmond in house lender also made it very simple and efficient until the end but after all was done I understand why so. All I have to say and recommend to anyone specially first time buyers, make sure all your documents are written in English. In regard to that portion I want to say Shawna was great at answering all my loan questions and concerns. The escrow people were not as fun nonetheless they made a speedy and efficient transaction. After living here for two months I am in love with the community and the continued support from everyone involved with Richmond. I can not wait to elevate the “basic” elements of this build.
